The rooms at this hotel needs to be updated. The tiles in the bathrooms had grime at the corners and grouting looked so dirty. The soap dish at the shower area had so much watermarks and looked like it has not been cleaned after use by precious guests. The shower head at the bath tub was leaky and could not be used. Dirty dishes left out by guests at the hall way remained uncollected for hours. Our blanket did not have a sheet to cover it. Had to ask house keeping to fix the beddings. Staff at breakfast room were not as helpful. Breakfast room was not ready at the scheduled time of opening. I don't think I will be staying at this hotel again not would i be recommending
I went to Grand Hyatt Amman for a friend's wedding over this weekend & had two rooms booked! The rooms quality overall was okay! The staff were genuinely courteous be it at the front desk or services! The food was also much better than what I expected be it room service or the Lounge on the Lobby level! Location wise, it also seemed to be close to the attractions! I'd definitely consider a stay there again as I barely spent two nights in Amman this time!
City hotel with walking distance to shops and eateries. Very friendly and courteous staff. On checking in the staff said breakfast was not included, for which we had written confirmation that it was included. Took sometime for checking in. Otherwise fantastic service.
I've stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Amman over a dozen times. For me, the staff is what makes this place special to stay. They really treat me like family. After a day of meetings, it is really nice coming back to friendly faces and people in the hotel.
We stayed 5 nights over Easter weekend. The hotel was not full and we got lucky and were upgraded to an executive suite. I was lovely and spacious. Questionable design flaws but nothing major (toilet with door that blocked the toilet when open and was difficult to get around to close). The room featured a living room, dining room, office, bedroom with king bed and big enough to add a roll away with room to spare. The master bath was also spacious with a walk in shower and separate jacuzzi tub. Breakfast buffet was great and had all the middle eastern faves (fantastic hummus and taboulleh) along with the classics (egg/pancake station, cereals, yogurts, breads). We enjoyed their Easter brunch. Their spa facilities are basic but lovely and feature steam room, sauna and whirlpool as well as an indoor pool that we had to ourselves. Over all the hotel is lovely with great views of the city and the staff reflect the jordanian hospitality.
This is my first time in Jordan 🇯🇴. I have been innME BEFORE but not this nice small state. Looks more organized and clean and safe than region. Hotel is secure and has three restaurant. People are helpful room is clean and big enough and facilitated modern. Reasonable price and good quality. Recommended
Stayed 3 nights at the start of our holiday in the Grand Hyatt Amman, it is a good base for exploring and only about 30 mins from the airport. We had a club room, which was ok, the bathrooms were a bit tired but otherwise ok. The Club lounge was ok in the evening with some nice food, but not worth visiting for breakfast. Breakfast was in the larger restaurant, the selection was ok with everything you would expect. Service was often a bit slow on things like coffee, felt like the restaurant management was just a bit slack on a few things. Seems like a few shops and restaurants previously advertised were closed, there were still signs for Indochine on the wall but this did not exist. The area downstairs that probably had restaurants and shops previously seemed very bare and unused. Overall, the staff were very nice, the rooms ok and restaurant ok, just a pleasant stay, a good start to our holiday.
The hotel location is very good. Big loopy and fast registration. Staff are helpful. Breakfast is not varied enough but basics are there. Rooms are not clean enough and furniture is old somehow. Meeting room is not modern but snakes are delicious and it amounts are very good.
