Great views, great location, great breakfast buffet. Best I've ever had, even better then the Broadmoor Sunday brunch. super secure location, and security and great for seeing the sites and getting some falafel and doing some shopping.
I left the hotel quite happy especially because of the service. My first approach was not the best, I had heard the place is a bit old but I was still surprised that is actually quite old and needs some renovations. But despite that, the service and the food kept up with very high standards. And location is perfect and strategic. Ali, the Front Office Manager was extremely professional and helpful. The rooms are quite clean but in the first room I had some issue with the shower being quite old. The second room was actually much better. Breakfast is delicious and rich. I loved every single dish. Staff was again very professional and attentive. In order to be excellent I d suggest to give a refreshment to the hotel :-)
My daughter and I unfortunately only stayed at this amazing hotel for 2 nights. As mentioned in a previous comment - the gorgeous aroma that greets you in the main lobby is incredible. Not sure if this comes from the huge fresh flower display but smells divine. We visited both indoor and outdoor pools which looked so clean and inviting but alas we were pressed for time. All members of staff we met were friendly, helpful and highly professional. On our first day there Lara particularly stood out for me on the main desk as nothing was too much trouble for her. Had the wow factor on entering our room - spotlessly clean with such an impressive view of the city from a huge window. Beds and pillows really comfortable. Bathroom very nice. If we're back in Amman again the Grand Hyatt is the only hotel for us - highly recommended
During breakfast, the wait staff were more concerned about using their smartphones that attending to the needs of guest. In addition, breakfast selection could be improved in the the restaurant and the Club lounge. the staff of the lounge were great, friendly, cheerful and helpful, particularly Mohamed.
My mother and I stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The first thing you notice when you walk into the hotel lobby is the beautiful smell of flowers - gorgeous! The hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable and luxurious. The breakfast was delicious with so much choice. Staff on the front desk were great. There was a member of staff from Caracas, Venezuela who was so lovely and friendly. We had an early flight back home and the front desk arranged a breakfast box for us to take to the airport, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you to all the staff
Everything was fine with a few minor exceptions. The concierge level - floor 9 - is weird about take things to your room. I tried to get a cup of tea in the morning to take back to my room and they didn't want me to take the cup from the concierge area. They spent over 10 minutes trying to find me a "to go" cup and finally gave me a cup almost exactly like the cups they use in the concierge area.
Wonderfull Hotel for its services..excellent staff and food..Mr.Abdel Salam Aref events manager is the maximum that a hotel can expect..thanks a lot Mr.Abdel Salam..thanks to Hyatt Amman Hotel..by the way all persons invited were excited and satisfied from the service and the excellent buffet presented to my 300 guests
Was not Satisfied at all. The receptionist were poor in receiving customers and in listening to what you say. They memorized a few sentences of welcoming words and kept repeating them. The manager was negative and did not make any attempt to sort out the payment via cash he was stuck and unable to do anything but to cancel my reservation which i think it should be the last option for a manger. The breakfast was okay and I found a housefly in the honey jar. It happens sometimes and it may okay for a hotel of 2 stars but the most important thing is the apology that i should received from the hotel. Simply they did not !!!!
I feel at home at Hyatt Amman. Staff interaction is personalized and agreeable. A general minor rehabilitation will enhance the experience. Breakfast is super-great. The hotel needs though to provide more variety of restaurants, non-sophisticated ones for rapid meals.
The employees from top to bottom all showed they love their jobs and their guests. They exude the warmth and welcoming personalities that the arabs are known for when visiting their homes. It was like being in each of their homes.
