The cosy living room with wood burner is upstairs but can be accessed at ground level. Use of the wood burner is optional as the central heating is the main source of heat. There is a popular, award-winning pub just a 2-minute walk away, serving lunch and evening meals as well as a variety of local ales. Alternatively, walk through the characterful village and across the picturesque fields to a traditional pub at Near Sawrey, once owned by Beatrix Potter herself.
