Cute hotel with all the essential amenities. The breakfast is small but but enjoyable. ( espresso, yogurt, toast, cheese, bacon, juice, fruit)We had a vehicle so we did pay for the private parking . Amalfi was about a 17 minute drive from the hotel. The only downside is that there is Church across the street and the bell/clock rings every 15 minutes . It was loud and hard to sleep at night .
Room and b&b looked exactly like the pictures. Friendly staff. We liked staying above the hustle and bustle of Amalfi and found that it was either an easy busy ride or a walk (about 30 minutes... wear your sneakers!) down to the shopping area/ restaurants. The local restaurants we ate at near the b&b were good and there is a small convenient store a few steps away where you can buy water, etc for very cheap. Overall, loved it!
tranquil, good warm people and good food n views. warm n friendly host. a nice quiet walking trail down to Amalfi town centre from pogerola town where villa Maria is located for 45-60 minutes. church bell ringing often and nearby pub resto can be a bit noisy sometimes. other times, awesome experience. breakfast was good.
