Good location with great view of Positano and the sea. Staff is great especially Carmella who treated my wife and I with warmth and enthusiasm which continued through the entire stay. Resturaunt is good and beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the water.
The hotel of our dreams. Everything was perfect. The balcony -- and more importantly ,the view -- off the room has to be seen to be believed.
I was initially upset we were down the block from the hotel. The upside was a brand new room with fresh paint and a new bathroom. The sitting room was separate and teeny -not really useful. I complained and they showed me a cheaper room with the layout from their website. I booked a deluxe suite and it was not up to my expectations. The patio was not useable since it was so cold but I wanted a beautiful view from every room. It worked out nicely because they had fresh flowers and fruit waiting for us.
The Villa Gabriesa is a wonderful small hotel. It is family owned. The staff is most attentive.. They are lovely, warm, friendly. and extremely helpful. The location is great, easy to walk to town. The Mediterranean is your view. We enjoyed it tremendously.
Tough to go wrong in Positano. View from terrace was breathtaking. Staff was fine. No amenities, but i wasn't there for amenities. Great views, great location, solid hotel.
The management was absolutely wonderful and upgraded our room to a suite just to enhance our experience without an additional charge. The location was excellent (you must of course negotiate the steps). All food served was very good and we would recommend highly
We had a fabulous evening at the Hotel Gabrisi overlooking the Amalfi Drive and Coast. The view doesn't get any better and the service was excellent. Although there was a mix up with our reservation, which was done on line, the staff immediately rectified the issue and upgraded us to the accommodations we wanted. Staff was friendly and attentive and someone who spoke English was always on hand. Our spacious terrace was decorated with palms, hibiscus and kumquats, all in bloom as well as several Bonsai. There are fabulous restaurants, shops and a BEAUTIFUL beach within walking distance and a cheap bus line that runs through the town every half hour if you aren't up for climbing a lot of hills and steps which Positano is full of. The only drawback is that not all rooms include a jacuzzi tub as their description on the internet clearly states, but as I said they upgraded us with little hassle. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a romantic getaway!!
This is a boutique hotel so the service is personal and the staff extraordinary. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. There were no issues with maintenance or cleanliness. The biggest source of differentiation, however, was the people. To a person, they were responsive, pleasant and accommodating. I cannot say enough about them.
Nice Location, Beautiful View, Helpful Staff, bed
