We stayed at the Hotel Eden Roc for three nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is not in the middle of town, which was a plus for us. Even though we were on the second floor, it was very quiet and we had a lovely view of the city. The rooms are very comfortable and the air conditioning works great. The bathroom was very roomy and modern. We enjoyed the staff - Valentino, Pascal, Paolo, etc, at the front desk and Tony (loved him!) and Angel in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was amazing!

Great stay. Room was spotless, and the 2-bedroom 2-bath suite was perfect for a family of 4. The staff was terrific as well - Tony in the breakfast room was particularly great. Would definitely stay there again, and hopefully we'll get the chance before too long.

I stayed with my boyfriend at Hotel Eden Roc for 3 nights in early June. I chose this hotel because it was an option that was highly ranked in my Chase Rewards (credit card) portal. The stay was definitely not a disappointment! The location: the hotel is not in the heart of the buildings/town which I really enjoyed. You have a better view of the ocean and the town. In comparison to Hotel Poseidon I'd say the views depend on your preference. If you would like a better view of the city I'd say stay at Poseidon. If you enjoy looking at the ocean more from the balcony or the pool I would stay here. We walked to the beach which took only 10-15 minutes which wasn't bad at all. The rooms: I stayed in the suite and thoroughly enjoyed the room. I was extremely satisfied that they had a great air conditioning system. THE BATHROOM WAS FABULOUS! I loved the cool shower/tub combo that had multiple jets. There was a jacuzzi on the balcony which we used one night but I wouldn't say it was a selling point for me. We had room service on the balcony and it was stunning! The views of the ocean were incredible from the room. The staff: The service was stellar. They were able to get us both to restaurant reservations on public transportation and back to the airport in a car which costs 130 Euros. Pool: The pool has a wonderful view of the ocean. I would say that it could be a bit nicer though in terms of the layout. Overall I loved the views. Restaurant: The restaurant was fabulous! We ordered two pasta dishes and an appetizer and it was perfect. Make sure to make a reservation. We ate at other places that I highly recommend like Da Vincenzo and Next2 which were also excellent! Overall a great stay! I would recommend it to anyone.

Friendly staff, very well located in Positano, has a restaurant on the rooftop with a wonderful view and excellent food. While our stay, all of our requests were promptly provided with a smile no matter the time they were made.

We enjoyed our stay at Eden Roc. We booked the La Sponda suite which is a full apartment style suite with a kitchenette and washer/dryer, a separate living room, and separate bedroom, two full bathrooms with showers. The view is an outstanding unobstructed view of the sea in front and the town on the right. I doubt there is a suite with a better view in all of Positano. The staff of this hotel treat you with class and with care. They accommodated changes in restaurant reservations, booking ferries and porters, etc. Breakfast was a great spread with the option to order eggs in any style you want.We also had dinner at their rooftop terrace restaurant. .. . the food was great on our first night there. The anchovies antipasto was amazing. I love being able to stay in a hotel room with the expansive space and option to launder my own clothes. And again, . .. the view .. . you just can't beat the view!

We stayed in Positano in May 2017 for a few days and then Capri. In terms of value for money on hotels I would recommend Capri especially Ceazar Augustus. Back to Eden Rock - It IS on a main road and the rooms are very basic and old style which doesn't worry me that much but the price they charge is same as 5 star. Like staying at your grandmas house (EG- who has bedspreads anymore)but the cost of a Park Hyatt. We paid extra for sea views and got a room where if you stood on one part of the balcony we sort of could but that was about it. Ripped off.Seriously don't understand the other reviews. My advice go stay in Capri and visit Positano for the day.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Eden Roc. Staff walked us to our room, and explained the ins & outs of the hotel. The balcony was a great place to enjoy the view. The breakfast was above expectations. We had dessert at the hotel, and regretted not having dinner there as well because the fresh berry cheesecake was phenomenal! Note: Be aware that if you store your luggage there, it might be left out in the lobby (in full view of the staff, but not tucked away somewhere).

First stay at Eden Roc and we would go back in a heartbeat! Our room on the first floor had been updated and was wonderful. Very comfortable bed, veranda with table and seating overlooking the ocean and surrounded by lots of flowering plants. Ate there at least three times and each time was delicious. Breakfast was a feast of everything you could possibly desire. Lots of traffic immediately outside the hotel but it really didn't bother us at all. 15 minutes walk into the town/beach.

Hotel Eden Roc in Positano is the most beautiful hotel and location in the world! This is our second trip to Positano and second stay at this beautiful hotel! We were fortunate to be able to use the owners apartment and still utilize all the hotels great amenities and restaurants! Since we are world travelers we feel we can honestly say that this hotel and owners apartment were pristine and elegant! The Mediterranean! The views! The exquisite hotel and restaurants, bars, beautiful rooftop pool, and most importantly their amazing staff! We love all of you!! Especially Pascal! Never in all our years of traveling and staying at 4 & 5 star hotels have we ever felt so welcomed and taken care of. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we were loved like their own family and that anything we needed was provided with a smile! Perfect location for a stroll down to the beach and enjoy all the wonderful shopping. Thank you Dominic, Raefaelle and Lorenzo for a wonderful and memorable stay once again at our garden of Eden.. Hotel Eden Roc!! The Neukum's

The rooms are dated, the beds are not great the position is ok.... but I would stay st this place over and over again because it's the absolute best in class of a traditional family run Italian hotel. I'm very very picky..... stay at Amans and Leaders Club hotels all the time and find fault everywhere.... so when I say I love a place believe me ..., it has something! Don't expect a five star experience... but expect friendly helpful staff, the most wonderful local cooking, a great view and a real Positano experience. Junior suite seaview.
