Superb rooms and service we lots of problems with the room keys, they were always failing and we had to get the re-programmed many times during our fortnight stay. The staff were mostly brilliant but a couple were a bit reticent to interact with the english guests
This hotel is well worth it if you're looking for a place to stay with the family - a good number of pools, large gardens, a variety of great food in the buffet and superfriendly staff. If you're looking for peace at night, I'd recommend the rooms which do not overlook the common outside areas but overlook the sea.
The hotel was friendly, quiet and spacious. Huge selection of food at the buffet breakfast and dinner. Great swimming pools though a little chilly in April. Easy access to all the interesting sights in and around Almeria. Our kids loved it and we plan to go back again!
My mom and I spent 5 nights in this hotel. We got an amazing room with a beautiful view on the sea and two sun-beds. It was an extra but totally forth it (room 233). The staff were super nice and very welcoming. Since we were over there in April, it was very quiet and the hotel was basically empty. The food was amazing with a lot of diversity. The fifth day, our plane were late the evening, we had the option to do the check out only at 5pm for a charge of 25€. The all inclusive stared the first day at 12am and ended the last day at 12am. English is not really common among the staff members.
Beautiful hotel with many sea and pool view rooms. Our bathroom was superb - large, bright with walk in shower & bath. Spotlessly clean Lovely pool areas. Many shaded areas. Good bar food. Main dining room lets the hotel down. At dinner no prawns or sea food or Jamon on the salad bar. Many selections looked 'tired' No freshly squeezed orange st breakfast ...... not acceptable in Almeria in a 4 star and also no Jamon, although perhaps at a weekend with more Spanish guests this might improve! Coffee at breakfast also way below average for Spain. Staff throughout are wonderful! Spa needs better maintenance as some jets not working in Thalassotherapy pool & showers
very good service especially in the dining room the room is nice and big enough the location is close to the golfcourse and the poolside will be nice when it is warmer the room didn´t have any cooling so the balkony door has to be opened and let in the mosquitos!
We travelled with Saga and the representative from Saga, David, was fantastic. The trip which were included in our stay were very much enjoyed. The hotel and gardens were neat, clean and tidy. If I had to make a negative point, the sofas in the lounge area are were deep (from front to back) and you had to search out one of the limited cushions to put behind your back. We would stay again.
Stayed here over a long weekend with our two children, 17 and 13, in connected rooms 231 and 233 which are on the very end of the long arm meaning you have sea views east and west. Just ten minutes from the airport by taxi although you hear almost no airport noise at all. Our first impressions were that it was a little downmarket, a little tatty, but over our four days we grew to like the hotel very much. Housekeeping was immaculate and our rooms very well maintained. No tea making facilities but after one phonecall a tray with kettle, tea etc was delivered. Breakfast was the usual buffet, the food on offer was not of the highest quality, watery orange juice, 'no name' cereals, jams and marmalades not particularly tasty, but there were fruits, breads and plenty of freshly cooked items like omelettes and waffles. We didn't eat any other meal there. And this was our particular problem. The area is quite quiet, being out of season, so we wanted to go into Almeria often and visit and eat in the restaurants there and a return taxi costs at least 50 euros! So expensive for a 15 minute journey! Could the hotel not offer a shuttle in and out or subsidise the journey?? Back at the hotel the pools are lovely and clean but freezing as early in the season. Plenty of loungers. There is a pool table - but it was wonky and not working. This is so annoying for guests - if you have the equipment then it should be maintained. Table tennis was more successful. In our bedroom the batteries in our television remote control were dead and needed replacing. So, an excellent four star hotel which will come into its own in the high season but it really needs to pay attention to those smaller issues that are very annoying to guests. We've stayed at this hotel just for 1 night during our road trip. We've had a great time there because the hotel is pretty modern and comfortable, located right next to the beach and beautiful promenade ( ideal for a good night walk).
