Very nice clean and spacious! Beds have memory foam and memory form pillows! Really nice after long day walking! Bathroom is clean and well maintained! Air Conditioning and a range of tv channels. Would def stay here again! Breakfast was in the main hotel and was at 4* quality. It's perfect if you are exploring the city and don't want to spend too much on accommodation as you are out all day anyway. Hotel bar in main hotel was amazing and reasonably priced and closed late into the evening. (Most bars and restaurants close at 11:00pm) I have stayed in 4 star hotels with less comfort. If you want: tea making facilities Little toiletries Fridge/mini bar It doesn't have any of these! But if you just need a nice room to relax in after a hot day of walking then it's perfect.
This is the sort of hotel that don´t give you any memories. Is that good, yea perhaps. nice and clean rooms and good breakfast. I don´t remember how the Internet worked which is good, I would have remembered if it had been poor. But I do remember I thought it was a bit overpriced, but than again, it´s in the middle of the town, what can you expect.
Stayed here for two nights before visiting Vera Playa. Hotel is central, immaculately clean and reasonably priced. Woman who turned out to be training staff member, skipped in front of us whilst we were trying to check in, was rude and felt she was more important than clients. After travelling from Dublin and driving around Almeria searching for hotel, we were both tired. There is a problem with fruit flies at breakfast but I'm really looking for things to complain about. I will be back.
If you are looking for an ok place to stay a night or two in Almeria without spending too much money, the Torreluz Centro might just be what you are looking for. The rooms are a little "1970", but clean and with what you need for a good night's sleep, no less, no more. Check in and breakfast are at the four star neighbour Torreluz Nuevo. If you come by car, the parking package is highly recommended, since street parking is impossible in the narrow streets. Location can't be beaten!
Recently visited this hotel for the second time, we have stayed in both the Torreluz centro and Nuevo (see previous reviews) and will quite happily stay in either one again. The Centro is almost next door the the 4star Nuevo, it is clean comfortable and excellent value for money, so if on a budget I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, we noticed that during this trip some of the rooms were been refurbished. We had drinks and tapas outside the Nuevo, lovely and again good value for money. We will return.
This hotel is next to the new torreluz, same owners outstanding service. I traveled through al ALMERIA and could not find a hotel available due to the local events. To my surprise, in the heart Almeria,mi found this great hotel. Don't be fooled by two stars, it was a great room, two double beds and comfortable place to stay. No noises, I enjoyed and rested through this one night in Almeria. Parking one block away, you can unload your car at the door then go pack your vehicle close by. Being in the middle of town, you have lots of attractions, but unfortunately I didn't have the time to visit. However downstairs by Nuevo torreluz, they have a terrace where you can sip a glass of wine, which is what I did after a long day of travel. And I enjoyed it as well. You won't be disappointed, this is my 4 stars rating for this nice place.
My parents and I stayed at the hotel while I was living in Almeria. It was super clean and the service was great. They were very accommodating in helping us get taxis as well and the workers at the desk spoke great english.
The hotel is in the center of Almeria and surrounded by tapas local places, restaurants and kiosk for drinks and coffee. The room was OK just without a fridge which I did not need but I guess for longer stay it would be necessary.
We didn't knowingly book this hotel. We thought we had booked the one next door called the Neuvo Torreluz but the hotel.info link took us to this one without us realising. If I was to book again I would check out the prices of both hotels. It shares the reception with the "better" 4 star hotel next door. At first we were disappointed by the mistake, but soon realised that this actually a really nice hotel. The location is good, very nearby many good tapas bars. If this is your thing look at my other reviews as I have reviewed three very good ones a short walk away. The main city centre street is a few minutes walk away and the beach about a 10 -15 minute walk. We followed Tomtom in out hire car and getting here was straight forward although the last section of road is fairly narrow. The car park is just around the corner and was just under 12 euros a night. It was tight but we managed OK in a rather large Skoda Yeti. A good place to visit by car for a day trip is Cabo de Gata which is rated number 1 on TA for things to do in Almeria. Amazing value to stay here at just under 40 euros a night for a double room without breakfast. There are many places to eat nearby. Large bedroom with wall mounted LCD TV. Free internet that wasn't that fast but did work eventually. There was a hairdryer but sadly no fridge or kettle. Air con worked well and the 2 single beds pushed together were extremely comfortable. Everything was clean. A safe was in the room but we never enquired where to get the key from. Overall a very pleasant stay. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g187429-d1307660-Reviews-Cabo_de_Gata_Nijar_Natural_Park-Almeria_Province_of_Almeria_Andalucia.html http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g187429-d498263-Reviews-Nuevo_Torreluz_Hotel-Almeria_Province_of_Almeria_Andalucia.html
we had rooms 212-213. both rooms and bathrooms were very large. 212 being the largest. nice big flat screen tv air con and wifi.. nice and clean aswell. we used the private garage which was handy as we travelled by car. the hotel is in an excellent location in the centre but due to this there was some street noise as the windows werent the best at blocking out the sound. but thats the price you pay for being in the centre. lots of cafes very close by that do breakfast and very cheap. we would defo stay here again if in almeria. its a bargin for what you get. quick check in and helpful staff. yes the outside and some of the inside is abit tired but thats no big deal
