Really nice Hotel overlooking the bay and sea. Good size room and bathroom with large balcony with furniture, everything you would expect for a Parador. Secure parking opposite Hotel a bit pricey at 10 euros a day, alternative is to park on beach only a few metres away, this option was given when checking in. Reception staff were excellent even going to the trouble of supplying a bottle of Champagne on finding out it was our wedding anniversary, the bouquet of flowers they arranged was a clue! We do not eat in the evenings at Paradores any more as have had bad experiences in past, normally the breakfasts are excellent but in this Parador not up to the usual standard. All things considered we would certainly stay again. Sorry forgot to mention but the gardens around Hotel beautiful.
Problems with basic services though, staff think they are doing you a favor by serving you, tips,? Not a hope till you liven up some.food was fine well cooked and presented, quality could do with improvement
This hotel has a superb location looking south across the Arenal beach. The grounds are also a delight as they provide a peaceful balance to the bustle of the Arenal and there is plenty of opportunity to seek out both sunshine and shade. Inside the hotel the communal areas on the ground floor are good and unusual in that there is comfortable as opposed to simply stylish seating and I wish more hotels could do this. The staff are good and there is an excellent general level of cleanliness. Our room was absolutely fine with twin beds and all the facilities you generally need. The balcony with its two comfortable seats and table overlooking the garden across to the Arenal was the highlight. A couple of minor quibbles are that the seats inside the room were too soft to be supportive and the beds were too hard to provide real comfort for old bones. The bathroom was fine with a full bath and a powerful shower; however the grouting needs some attention. The breakfast offered was comprehensive and of good quality. The dining room is fine and it leads out to additional seating on a terrace overlooking the garden. the hotel offers secure parking at ten euros a day but there is an unsurfaced area near the hotel which we used quite happily for free. If I am looking for a hotel again in Javea I will certainly look to book the Parador.
Lovely located hotel, all rooms with sea view. Close to the Arenal boulevard with the bars, shops and restaurants. Beautiful garden. Beakfast in buffet style, very complete with different egg preparations, cereals, fresh fruit etc. Coffee served at the table or Nespresso maker to opperate your self
We stayed here as a birthday treat for me, and what a lovely hotel it is. The quality and standard is excellent, and the location perfect, at the vend of the sandy bay in paradise. The food is excellent, although dinner is served very late, as the Spanish like it!
On the beach, seaside, easy reachable, with nice views over sea-bay-mountains....it s an overall good quality hotel, though not new, but quite complete services. We had booked the 'romantic package' for a 2 days stay for Valentine. All promises were kept. We had a room on 4 th floor (top floor), room was very spacious, and it seems all rooms have a private terrace, which is perfect for smokers ! The hotel is functional. Parking spaces nearby, 20 meter from entrance The nice walking promenades start from the hotel in either direction, towards el Arenal beach or towards the beach leading to the javea town center and puerto. Overall a relaxing place with many options for daytrips, thanks to its location. Worth a visit is the 'casco urbano' (old city center) ! And do take the road to Denia through the Natural Reserve of Montgo (the CV376), a beautiful 10-15km drive with pleasant view on Denia when coming close.
When we travel to the south of Spain, Parador Javea is the perfect stop off to break the long journey. Situated near the beach, restaurants and bars, every thing is within walking distance, even the port, which is just a 15 minute walk along the beach.
Superb view from our balcony, good food and service with all staff welcoming and helpful - I'd go back like a shot! Pleasant room but beds harder than any I've come across before, though we slept well nontheless. Restaurant a bit quiet, no doubt due to being low season plus many alternative venues in the locality. Free car parking alongside hotel used by staff and others mean you don't need to pay for the 'secure' car park over the road.
We were supposed to be staying at an Airbnb but decided to change at the last minute. The Parador staff were friendly and quickly fit us in. The room itself didn't have a balcony but was very spacious with comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. They organised an amazing breakfast each day with lots of choice and everything was quickly restocked. The party itself was well organized and there were plenty of staff to ensure everyone was looked after. There were not many vegetarian options on the evening buffet but we still did have salad. The gardens are lovely and I bet it's even nicer in the summer. Would recommend to friends that they stay here.
This Parador is set in a great location with lovely views over the bay. We stayed 24/25th December and had the special menu on the 24th. We would not do this again and we were a little disappointed. It may be ok if there is a group of people. The rooms all have sea views and first thing in the morning the sun was shining as very warm sat on the balcony.
