I stayed in this hotel whilst visiting friends who live in Javea. The Parador de Javea is situated at the end of the bay almost directly on the beach. A nice slightly dated hotel, airy public rooms, a lovely terrace overlooking the bay, nice pool, the lifeguard provides towels, plenty of sunbathing space. The rooms are large, traditional with terracotta flooring. Large bathroom with separate WC. Adequate storage & hanging space, safe in room. Lovely large terrace with comfortable chairs & table overlooking the beach & bay. Excellent buffet breakfast, huge selection! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel has a nice location. Our standard room had a nice view over the ocean and a beech. There are some nice restaurants near the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was also good. We will surely come back again.
The Parador is on a small peninsula which separates the more rugged and rocky beaches to the north from the more sandy beaches to the south. The location is fantastic offering a great view onto the back and sandy beaches. We had one of the standard twin rooms which was excellent. The room was of a good size and had an outside balcony equipped with table and chairs with views onto the garden and beaches below. There is a good size well maintained outdoor pool with the surrounding areas laid to grass and gardens (see photo). Unfortunately during our stay the bbq restaurant was closed. The breakfast experience was very good with a great selection of food and local cold-cuts on offer - perhaps a greater selection of local cheeses? Parking is provided in a secure (gated) car park area across the road from the Parador - this is at a daily charge. There is limited parking outside of the Parador itself and pulling up to unload and load is permitted. Nice Parador which we would definitely recommend to other planning to visit this region of Spain.
When staying recently at this hotel, whilst on business, I was greeted with extremely helpful and friendly staff. My room was spacious with a lovely view. The bathroom was fine but could have fine with a little updating. Likewise a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities would enhance the in-room experience. The barman was charming and served drinks and nibbles in the cafeteria with cheer. I had early starts on both mornings of my stay and booked an early breakfast upon arrival for both days. This was fine on the first day but on the second, when I was leaving at 6.30am, there was no breakfast ready - eek! The girl on Reception made me a drink but this was a little disappointing.
We spent a week at The Parador. While a relatively new Parador , it was run throughout in classical Parador quality. All rooms have a balcony facing the sea and bay . The room is large and , while a little, dated is really good value . Loved our room No 401 . Lovely room service . Lovely pool, with excellent constant staff. Breakfast was good with wide range able to please everyone . Well designed indoor/terrace areas to relax with seemingly very friendly staff. Gave a very relaxing atmosphere. By the way, the Reception staff very really efficient. They also helped us get an alternate flight when we heard about our return Monarch flight collapsing . The restaurant clearly provided quality choices; personally I felt the choice needed a little sexyin-up. No paella! Good value though. Very relaxing ... just what we wanted. On our last day a wedding had been planned on the lawns outside the hotel building. At the last moment the rains came down with a vengeance and the hotel Management were challenged to bring everyone into the hotel building ! As hotel guests, the hotel Management tried their best to relax the residents and gentle persuasion fuelled by large gin and tonics plus room service meals went very well. All in all, a wonderful sited hotel alomgside a beautiful bay, serviced by really good staff. Loved it . Roger and Christine Litawski
Stayed for 5 nights in this delightful hotel . Excellent room with balcony and sea views . Hotel is located next to the beach with a short walk to numerous restaurants and bars. Hotel is quiet and upmarket . Thoroughly recommend and visit again
Had 3 nights here last week. Gorgeous beach front location, all bars and restaurants along the promenade are within a short walk. Room was spacious and clean, with sea view. An ironing board in the room would have been useful, didn't fancy paying for hotel services for this. The bathroom could do with some modernisation, looking slightly dated. Good help yourself breakfast, with waiter service for coffee. Reception staff are very pleasant. You are really paying for the location for the price paid as the hotel needs some updating in certain areas - I have stayed in nicer looking 4 star hotels. But overall a good stay in a nice hotel and I would stay again if only for the ideal location.
We had a lovely room with a sea view. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful the food was good and the service was excellent. Could not fault this hotel and would recommend it highly.
Stayed here for 1 night everything was excellent.Sea view was beautiful and we enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant overlooking the bay. Breakfast in the morning was extensive and really well cooked. We would certainly return here
Very enjoyable stay in the Parador. It enjoys a great location, excellent sea view, a good breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff. We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. We will definitely be back again.
