We have just stayed at this hotel for a week and its location was excellent for getting about Alicante. This was our first time in Alicante and would use this hotel again. Enrique who checked us in was so helpful he even took the time to recommend a few places to eat which were very good. The rooms are very clean only thing we missed was tea/coffee making facilities in room but I'm sure if we asked we could have got them.

A very good 3 star hotel in an excellent central location. We had a first floor internal room with a window looking out onto the central light well rather than the exterior. It was wonderfully quiet. Very comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, plenty of hot water. Small but adequate gym with new equipment - cross trainer, running machine, static bicycle, weights. Excellent breakfast selection, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, hot food, toaster, numerous breads, cheeses, cold meats, cakes, lovely coffee and selection of different teas, different fruit juices, great way to start to the day. Air conditioning worked a treat, was quiet and continued running even when out (in many hotels the air conditioning goes off unless the key card is in the electric slot). The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Very minor niggles - the step at the entrance could be dangerous if you´re not careful; lack of plug sockets for charging phones, tablets, etc.; no drawers in the bedside cabinets; the room fridge, hinged on the right, was inside a cupboard which was hinged on the left making it very difficult to open; no orange marmalade at breakfast. I am being really picky about these issues, they didn´t cause us any major problems at all. Overall a highly recommended hotel.

It's not fancy but it's cheap, very clean and safe. The main point is the location, it's 5 mins walk from the beach and marina and all the bars and restaurants but it's still quiet at night in the rooms. For the price you can't beat it.

We were only on a 3 day break here but the whole experience was very positive. The reception staff, on arrival, were very helpful and check in was quick and easy. We were asked if we wanted an inside room or an outside one. On being told that the inner rooms were quieter we chose room 501. The room was excellent. Large, clean and quiet as promised. Even the AC was quiet enough to leave on during the night which was a blessing. The temperature outside was in the region of 34%. The hotel is perfrectly situated for beach, marina and restaurants in abundance. Would recommend this hotel to anyone, even for a longer stay would be perfect.

Stayed here for 7 days bed & breakfast 4-11th July and found the hotel basic and very clean. Rooms cleaned daily and are reasonably sized with no balcony, but windows that open with noise reduction curtains. Breakfasts are mainly continental so don't expect a Full English Breakfast as the nearest you'll get is fried bacon. The hotel is ideally positioned for the Tram(which is brilliant) Taxi Ranks, shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. The hotel is ideal for singles and couples, but not really suitable for families as there are a couple of noisy bars that stay open well into the early hours,

I spent two night there one week ago. Everything was excellent! It is situated in the middle of everything, and the staff was great and helpful. And the price was unbeatable. I will stay there again for sure the next time I go to Alicante.

This hotel is in a great location to everything. Whether it's nightlife, the beach, shopping or historic sights this hotel is in the perfect location for it all. The rooms are on the smaller size but have a large bathroom. Would not fault it. The staff are obliging and friendly. So close to the airport too a taxi cost us between 20-25Euros.

We stayed in this hotel from the 24th to 27th of June. Check in and check out was really easy with a lovely young Spanish man, (wearing glasses) who helped us with everything we needed during our stay. NH Rambla de Alicante is in an excellent location. The C6 public airport bus stops a short walk away. (40m) 2mins across the road from the hotel. Get off the bus on Av Alfonso X El Sabio, the Mercat central (indoor food market) will be on your right, just after the bus stop. Walking to the beach and the Explanada de Espana Boulevard is just a 8 min walk. Coming out of hotel turn right onto Rambla Menolez Nunez and its just straight all the way down to the water. Walking through the streets in the old town is a must and is very beautiful. The breakfast at the hotel is really excellent considering its a budget hotel. Be aware that rooms in this hotel are small with no bar downstairs, but this was not a big issue for us. Overall, no reason not to stay!!! Forgot to mention the C6 airport bus is....turn right out of arrivals and up the escalator (to departures).......do not take the first right leading to the multi storey car park...... carry on up the second escalator and turn right out the main airport door.....C6 bus stop will be on your right.... 3.85 per ticket (not sure if they give change).

Pleasantly surprised - having read previous reviews we were not sure what to expect. Room is very adequate - air con - tv - lots of plug points - wardrobe ok - found few hangers but on request was given more. Bathroom a good size. We have a window facing on to street - its not that noisy - some rooms dont have windows facing out to street, some face inwards. Breakfast is excellent - lots of choice ranging from healthy to not so and a range of teas plus coffee. Note. Bacon, egg, sausage come in individual ramekins - which you are meant to take to table rather than decant at breakfast bar which we were chastised for this morning - no sign saying otherwise. Staff very pleasant and there to help. Would definitely stay here again for short break but not whole week - balcony preferred in summer months.

perfectly comfortable as long as you ask for a double bed! twins are far too narrow for a comfortable night's sleep. Good location in town centre, otherwise doesn't have a lot to commend it. Good idea to ask for a room at the rear of hotel I would guess.
