I can't comment on value for money as our insurance company paid for our stay but i can say the staff at the hotel were so helpful and fantastic. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was clean and spacious.
Stayed at the hotel. Firstly the good points. They have a large car park which is secured at night. It is just of a major road so easy to access and close to the airport. The bed was comfy and staff helpfull. The restaurant and bar are reasonably priced. There is also a petrol station nearby. The bad points are it is a good walk to town and the hotel is a little dated. Top tip if using sat nav use google maps as i used one provided by booking.com and ended up in an industrial estate
Nice, clean room with comfortable beds. Good value for money. If you don't mind to walk 25min to the centre and 40min to the beach along very busy street with occasional, half naked hookers then it is a hotel for you.
Stayed Campanile Hotel 7-13 Sept. Bedroom and Bathroom fine. Problem is the location of the Hotel with no entertainment in or around the Hotel. Town being 30 min walk meant we had to return to Hotel around 10:45 pm to get last drink which finished at 11 pm. There is a bus behind the Hotel and up a hill which is 1/3 way in, so we generally walked. Beer was limited to draught Amstel which ran out on one night. Food was very basic which meant eating elsewhere. Reception, pub/restaurant was one room. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Had a 2 night break meeting up with friends. Hotel ideal - clean, good value, quiet, and friendly helpful staff. Free parking. Bar prices excellent too! @100m walk to the bus to go into town( °2 bus, €1.45). €5 taxi to town centre. Plenty local bars to use. Great for what we needed. Would use again.
Stayed for weekend break all staff friendly and helpful room very good and cleaned daily, 20 minutes walk to old town or get number 1 or 2 bus from back of hotel for €1.50 each way I Got Taxi back in the evening for €5 would definitely stay again if in Alicante
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is good. The drinks I thought were quite cheap (for Alicante). The rooms are good enough with TV and really comfortable beds. I don't normally sleep well abroad but I was sleeping better in this hotel than I do at home! I don't think I would stop here again as I miss not having a pool and a balcony but I would definitely rate it as a good hotel. My main gripe about this hotel is they do not offer enough free tea/coffee in the rooms.
It is an honest 3 star hotel, so for this category we would choose this hotel for several reasons: facilities, customer service, parking abd distance from the city center regarding other 3 * hotels. Bar-Restaurant is good value for the money.
The hottel is small, quiet and nice, room was very clean and spacy. The staff in the reception and bar was very helpful and friendly, just maybe breakfast was a bit poor for Sanish buffet style breakfast but everything else was good. We will visit you again :)
We had a three night stay at Campanile hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet was very basic and some food wasn't even eatable. It costs 7€ per person, but it is not worth that money. Another big disadvantage is the main road which passes near the hotel. Noise is very big, and it is impossible to sleep if you are on this side of the hotel, even if you close the window. The good thing is, that the bus stop, for C6 bus which goes to the airport, is a few steps from the hotel. If you choose this hotel, ask for the room on another side of the hotel, where the traffic is much quieter and do not have a breakfast at the hotel.
