Booked 2pm golf. Chaotic when we got there not enough buggys. 20 mins late tee off. 3 hours to play 9 holes. We came off after 12. Too many people, course poor and overplayed. Customer service shocking. We will never go back

We stayed here for 4 nights. Chose this hotel largely for the convenience and the location. It seems to be one of the only hotels in the area decorated in a nice traditional Spanish style. If you want modern & clean style (read: white!) then this won't be the hotel for you. The hotel was quite big but quite empty - I think we potentially had the ground floor wing to ourselves! Room was big & spacious. Bed ok but facilities in room (toiletries, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer) were well thought out and the hotel had literally thought of everything. We stayed in a deluxe room (corner) and had side views of the pool and a view of the golf course. Price seemed very reasonable and included a breakfast. Selection of food at breakfast was fine; not as much choice as other hotels in the area but then again some of them come at a much heightened price! Restaurants in gastro village over the road and of course, plenty of choice if you want to travel to Alicante. Beach a 15 minute walk but a pleasant stroll in the sun. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Nice hotel with good service and nice stab. Easy access to the golf course and we enjoy very mutch the course and we will come back :-) Recommanded to try if you haven't tried it but you will enjoy it most if you have a hcp lower than 28.

The room was big and clean with even the bidet in the bathroom (greatly appreciated)! It is located in a nice area with bars and restaurants around and a beautiful beach just 10 min walking. The staff was kind and the breakfast good! The laundry service was did not work well because the clothes were stinking too much of detergents. On Sat morning I wanted to sleep a little bit more but it was not possible for the noise in the corridor.

We have just stayed in Hotel Alicante Golf for the second time in two weeks The first visit; room was nice, tidy and clean, but not a very good view. We had a breakfast buffet where the food was somewhat basic and the hot foods at best warm. But assume this is how the Spanish like their foods. Overall a good 3 star hotel. Second visit; room not as nice as you can see from the pictures, mildew on the ceiling and no filter internally covering the AC ceiling outlet. Although the room was tidy it looked a little shabby. Only one bath towel for two of us, but worse of all two of the four bottles of water in the fridge bar had broken seals which would indicate people had drunk the water and topped up again with tape water. Plus there is no fridge contents tariff. What made matters even worse we had a Spanish family in the next room and historically the Spanish cannot speak quietly, so screaming child and shouting parents. No coffee or tea making facilities in either room Yes there is a good side, we had a meal in the bar area and with the exception of partly drunk, noisy English and Spanish golfers at the bar area, the food was excellent. In my view still a 3 star hotel. Would I stay there again, umm, I’m sure there are better close by?

We booked a 3 night stay in Hotel Alicante Golf because it was close to the places we needed to visit. The previous reviews were not encouraging and i was worried about making a bad decision in this reservation due only to its location. However when we arrived, all the reviews vanished from my head. It does need some renovation but it's not so bad. The rooms are spacious. We had a balcony overlooking the golf course which was very nice. The bathroom would benefit the most from a renovation but it was ok. The staff were helpful in recommending what to see and where to eat. The breakfast was varied and tasty. My only recommendation is that they renovate soon for their own sake. People are reviewing it in bad ways when actually it is a good hotel.

No assistance for disabled. Bathroom for disabled not suitable. No English satalite tv. No tea coffee making facilities in room. Bathroom black with mould had to clean it before you could shower. Cannot get any hot drinks from bar until 9am unless you paid and had a breakfast. Unable to change any currency unless you went to a bank. Would not stay again.

I confess to panicking about booking this hotel after reading the previous reviews, but this was unfounded. Agreed this is possibly not a 4 star hotel, and would not necessarily take the wife for a romantic weekend here. But for a golf hotel, amazingly situated on the course it is perfect. Staff were friendly, Gin and Tonics large and only a 10 euro taxi trip to the old town of Alicante. Bathrooms could do with an upgrade but the room was clean and spacious. Very enjoyable trip.

Saw the place on the we and was fooled. Although the staff were friendly i does not make the stay worthwhile. Had a room with view on the course but they need to hire some cleaners or teach them to care. Batch room need a brush in the corners! Bed is nice and clean but tv is very small. (Did not know they still existed) Walls are full of damage and need painting. Breakfast is very disappointing and lack any form of passion! Felt like it came out of a box. Played the course and here is an employment possibility for a few extra green keepers. Bad bad maintenance. Staff is unfriendly at caddy master and did not tell about maintenance on some holes until after payment. No help anywhere!!!

This is not a 4 star hotel. The only thing that was good was the staff, who had to make due with what they have. The rooms were dirty. The carpets were last properly cleaned never, the bathrooms were decrepit with visible rust and years of deposits on all edges. The breakfast food was subpar. They don't even have proper coffee, but have 2 coffee machines for the guests instead. The facilities are a joke. The only thing they have is lots of open space. Location is also not that good. It's far away from the center of Alicante, which is fair, but it's also not really in walking distance of Playa San Juan. There's nothing around basically, you will need to take a cab wherever you go. Maybe this was a 4 star hotel when it opened, but they invested 0 in maintenance and it shows. The internet was constantly disconnecting. You can get about 5-10 minutes out of it before you need to reconnect.
