Visited Sofitel for a short break and it was excellent, the staff were extremely helpful especially Abdelhamid on the front desk! The room was clean and the comfort of the bed was amazing will definitely stay there again - it's a 20 min, drive to the airport:

It was my third time, and I was welcoming experience specially by Ms. Habiba who was very helpful and accommodating during check in. Nice room, convenient location right next to botanical garden. Service in restaurants need lot of improvement. Overall good experience.

Room very disappointing: Door fell off minibar Light switch loose Picture broken and not hanging straight. Iron with bare wires showing. No recognition on checkout of being a loyalty member. Italian restaurant good food and service. Airport shuttle worked well.

Sofitel Algiers totally disappointed me from the very beginning. I was at the check in desk at 14:00 and was told that my room was not available and check in started at 15:00. I checked the website and it clearly stated that the check in time was 14:00. When I showed it to the receptionist he didn’t seem surprised which made me believe that he tried to get rid of me by providing incorrect information. I have to admit then the room was ready within 20 min, however it was still after the check in time and didn’t leave a good initial impression. The room was also a disappointment. When unpacking, I dropped a pen on the floor and when picking it up accidentally saw what was under the bed and the TV stand – pieces of food and some other unidentified dirt. It was clear that only the visible areas are vacuum cleaned. In the bathroom I found hair that from the length and the color I can definitely say was not mine. The air con was another disaster – it hardly managed to bring the temperature down. The other fixtures and fittings were old and tired – a refurbishment of the whole structure is long overdue. Overall, I would have expected much more from a Sofitel, both in terms of staff and accommodation. The only decent thing about the hotel is a fast internet connection.

I would like to start with the fact that I spent 6 months in Sofitel Hamma Garden. I became a friend with the personnel and I think even the management knew me. They would welcome me every morning with friendly and polite greeting. They will try to serve my needs, well maybe not in the best way, but for sure best possible for them. What I still find as not acceptable is that for another 6 months after I could not obtain my Accord points. It is 6 was 6 months fight (and still is) with at minimum 8 to 10 times of conversations and promises that "My colleagues responsible for will call you tomorrow as now is not here" - that was a standard procedure, I would give my email address for the next time, they promise about tomorrow .... and tomorrow never comes..... Frankly, this is the attitude for all that is kind of problematic for them, and all that is not the standard service in a hotel is a problematic point. So ... it will be solved ... tomorrow .... I would understand if it was a regular hotel, where the personnel is average and the service is average. BUT for the Luxury chain Sofitel of Accord Group it is not acceptable .....

it was my second time, and I was welcomed as "old friend" Nice room, excellent location, very nice staff, wanted to help, nice places to sit and chat inside and outside the building european style, however you can try local cuisine in the restaurant

My husband was staying in Sofitel Algiers Hamma Garden for three weeks and he was more than glad to live there. But the most outstanding quality of this hotel is its staff - extremely helpful and caring! And I can say it on my behalf as well - it was my husband's birthday and I wanted to congratulate him somehow. Mr Said Boudjemaa (VIP brigade chief) not only immediately reacted to my e-mail, but managed to organise a birthday cake and song on a short notice! I am more than thankful to Mr Said and his Team for agility, sincerness and creativity - the surprise was a perfect gift on a birthday morning. Best wishes to you all! :)

When checking into a Sofitel hotel you always expect a great experience. This hotel did however not meet my expectations. The design and look of the room was old fashioned and the size was in comparison to other Sofitel hotels small. The checkout and restaurant experience was also average.

On business trip here - my second time in this hotel, and it didn't dissapoint. The pool area is lovely, and the food in the restaurant as good as any I've had in the world. The only dissapointment was having to constantly ask for more coffee pods, as 2 is never enough.

Well placed, quite cosy, great restaurant, great breakfast, rooms spacy enough with Desk to work on, could benefit from a little lift, Bed Ok, wifi Ok, bathroom could benefit also from a new lift but still OK and clean. I did not us the swimming pool nor teh Gym faciliuty but passed by and it looked really good. Personel extremely pleasant, polite and helpful.
