My wife, my son, my step son and I all stayed in one of the apartments in October around Halloween time this year (2017). The apartment was beautiful, really well kitted out, very central to both the main strip, the beach and all the local shops and restaurants. The old town is also a short walking distance away or alternatively you can take a bus. There are pubs right across the road for an evening drink and a sing song. Booking all your activities to do on holiday couldn't be easier as the booking office is right across the road from the apartments, beside the hotel. There is also a lovely pool and sun bathing area beside the hotel, which is supervised. Really looking forward to going back again next year.

We stayed here in mid october as a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 children (10 years & 8 months) we got a taxi to the hotel from the airport that cost 45 euros and the taxi driver took our phone number and picked us back up at 5am when it was time to leave which i thought was really nice of him he even carried our cases. we stayed in a 1 bedroom ground floor self catering apartment block 7 for 1 week and it was better than expected. it had everything you could think of. Big fridge freezer, cooker/oven, washing machine, iron & ironing board, dish washer. Toaster, microwave, Plates cups cutlery. Clothes dryer. Bath with shower. They set up a crib in the bedroom for the baby. The balcony was small but wasnt a problem. The wifi was good but stopped working after 2 days but we didnt mind as our phones had data so didnt bother reporting it. Room was cleaned everyday and towels were changed daily. The lock on the front door was a bit hard to open but by pulling the door closer to you while turning the key we was able to open the lock fine. The pool area was very clean, plenty of loungers and also another garden area away from the pool if you want some quiet time. the German student manning the pool was amazing. The apartment reception staff were all very nice, they booked activites for us and got us transport to where we needed to go. The hotel has 2 receptions when you walk in, hotel reception at the front, apartment reception at the back. There is a deposit of 20 euros for the room key that you get back when you leave but as we had a early flight we got our deposit back the day b4 check out and handed the room key to hotel reception when we left. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on the food. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk at the back of the apartments, you have to walk down about 100 steps to get to the beach so was a bit awkward with a baby in a pram but its easily done, the beach is beautiful and there is a nice beach cafe with a good selection of drinks, the pizzas are very nice but cant comment on the rest of the menu. There are no activities on this beach. The strip is a 1 minute walk away from the apartments and there are loads of bars, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. There is a place called carpe diem that serve amazing food and the owner is very nice and welcoming. We are not the type of people that go on holiday to sit around the hotel pool, we like to explore and we found a few beaches close by taking around 10-20 minutes walking, the locals can tell you where to find them... When walking from the apartments to the strip, rather than crossing the road onto the strip if you turn left and walk 10 minutes down the road you will find another strip that is a lot bigger, busier and has a lot more souvenir shops, bars, restaurants and night clubs. Also there is another beach, this is much bigger than the hotel beach and has more places to eat and drink you also get beach service so you get your food and drinks brought to you while you chill out. This is the beach with the activites, jet skis ect. Really this is the beach you want to be at unless your on holiday for quiet time. Prices for food and drinks are normal for places like this. Its the same as spain. There are cheaper places to eat if you look around. I fully recommend going to see the bull fighting show, they let people from the audience go into the ring with the bull (horns covered of course) and it is the funniest thing you will ever see, best part of the show. The dolphin and cave tour was amazing the caves are absolutly beautiful and we saw the dolphins swimming next to our boat jumping out the water, i got a bit sea sick half way through but the staff was great and lay me down at the back of the boat with a sick bag lol. Overall this was a brilliant holiday celebrating my 30th birthday and i would deffo come back to these apartments if i can get the same sort of room because from some of the reviews ive seen some people can get fobbed off.

Very clean room every day clean towels!! Nice big apartment for a good holiday!! You can eat voor a good meal by Ronnie en Ellen 500 meter from the apartment!! End the swimmingpool end bar is good too!!

Arrived family of 6 in October.. fantastic apartment block 2..very spacious..dish washer washing machine..tumble dryer spa bath..massive balcony..very clean complex..pool cafe fair..friendly staff..10 minute walk to beach not wheelchair push chair friendly..good stay..

We stayed in the Quinta Pedra Dos Bicos apartments as a group of 15 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday, back in July. We booked 3 apartments, with 5 people in each apartment - although we booked the same type of apartments (3 x 2 bedroomed apartments) we were given three very different rooms. One was a very spacious 3 bedroomed apartment (with a sofa bed which could hold 2 more people) the other was a 2 floored, 2 bedroom place and the other was a one bedroomed apartment. We had to do a bit of swapping around to make everyone comfortable (as the 5 people in the one bedroom apartment were not happy) but we settled ok. The pool area and pool bars/restaurants were well kept and the staff were lovely. The pool itself was a nice size and it was a nice relaxing atmosphere. The beach was literally a 5 minute walk at the back of the hotel - it involved quite a few steps, but was well worth the visit. The main restaurant was absolutely fabulous, the staff were very attentive and paid particular attention to our friend whose birthday it was. Bringing out a cake and champagne one night and getting a saxophonist to play happy birthday to her another night. The food was delicious and above and beyond what we were expecting. We would definitely stay at these apartements again, for the food alone, but the staff and location of the place also adds to its attraction. The Albufera strip was about a 5 to 10 minute walk, depending on the heels worn!

Good accommodation but a bit haphazard in allocating apartments for a family group. We booked three apartments and requested they be close together with the family with small children on the ground floor. The receptionist on arrival was very offhand. The children were in a corner apartment on the second floor with three balconies. Nothing else was offered. The other two apartments were In a different block on different floors. The location is excellent for the beach although there are quite a few steps. Lovely beach bars. Very nice pool and cafe on site. The resort has plenty of eating places but has a scruffy appearance. Many broken and dangerous pavements and not much attention is given to litter picking and cleansing. The streets are noisy in the evenings. Good local supermarket. Not a suitable area for sightseeing, just a beach holiday.

Nice, modern and spaceous place, close to the beach. A noce brekfast every dag and friendly staff. Every day a clean apartment, very nice. Just showering in the bath is not our thing. And no lock on the balcony door. In genaral a good place to be!

On Arrival we where allocated a 1 bedroom apartment which consisted of twin bed's, television, table and four chairs all clearly needing updating. No armchairs,no oven, we could not use the bath nob broken therefore could only have a shower. There was no Balcony or Patio area and on opening the curtains was faced with green bars on the windows The weather was very warm but we could not open the door in the bedroom because of people walking by. When asked to move rooms we where told then was none available and we would have to pay 25 Euro's for the cleaning.Although we would not have mind paying had we been allocated another room. The pool area was OK however a few of the sun beds where either cracked or broken and the drinks where slightly over priced a Diet coke, Fanta orange 6 Euro's This was our second visit here and it is the last.Having said all that this is a good location with really good Bars and restaurants.

A bit of a mixed review this one. Just returned from a weeks stay in a self catering apartment at this hotel and was very pleased with the size, standard, cleanliness and location of the apartment. The pool, lounger area and poolside bar/restaurant was also very good with very reasonable prices for food and drinks and lovely staff. The hotel is in a great location and just a short walk from the strip and has plenty of bars and restaurants near by but it is nice and quiet as it has it's own access road so no need for non guests to be walking by. So here's the negatives. Be wary as you you may be asked for deposits of varying amounts on checking in. Something we were not made aware of on booking. Three girls who checked in in front of us were asked for €150 as a deposit which would be paid back on check out provide there was no damage to the apartment or complaints. Sounds reasonable, but as they were not aware they had to pay this and didn't have a credit card €150 was quite a chunk out their money. We were asked to pay €40 on security on two sets of keys. I can only assume as we were a family and deemed more respectable our deposit was lower. This now brings me to this morning on check out. Our bus was picking us up at 7.50am. The rather aloof guy on reception informed us that none of our deposits could be returned as the person that dealt with it didn't start until 8am but if we left an address (which was provided on check in) they might be able to do something for us. So the hotel is €190 up between the two parties. A bit gutted as it so could have been 100%

Firstly on arrival was told our room wouldn't be long and the receptionist would give us a call once ready- she never rang. We was then allocated a room which was having building work done. You couldn't use the terrace as it was covered in sheets and rubble. We requested a move and received terrible customer service and told to go back tomorrow! I rang our Rep who got us moved instantly into a lovely apartment however maintenance wasn't top priority as the terrace door coldly be opened an the handle was hanging off and the shower bracket was broken so you could only have a bath. We decided to put up with it as we wanted to enjoy our holiday. Pool Area was very clean, plenty of sun loungers and a fabulous German student manning the area who was very helpful and friendly. 6.50 euro for a G&T at the pool bar however the wine was very well priced at 2.50 euro a glass and the lady behind the bar advised which one was best and was very good at her job. Perfect location.
