These are clean well presented apartments. Friendly staff close to all amenities close to beach. Great pool with outdoor bar. Magnificent sea view from apartments sun all day on large balcony. We stayed here as a family and Would definitely stay here again.
We have just returned from a weeks stay here. We chose this hotel for its location and it was perfect for us, 5 mins to the beach, 15mins walk into Old town and not much further into New town. The room was a good size with balcony and clothes airer and table&chairs which looked onto the pool, kitchenette and bath/shower and hairdryer. A good air conditioning system although we didnt need to use this much as the room was cool enough. We didn't eat in the hotel so cant comment on the food. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed regularly. Free Wi-Fi worked throughout the hotel also. The only negatives i would have is that there are no plugs near to a mirror so straightening hair etc was difficult. Also, the kitchen was well equipped but there wasnt a small pan which you would cook beans or something similar in so this would be helpful. Overall I would return to this hotel and reccomend it to others.
Not a particularly good experience here, I'm afraid as you will see from this review. Room was pretty good and had a cooker, microwave, kettle air conditioning and toaster. Minimum cutlery and crockery but that was ok. The air conditioning has been fitted in my opinion completely incorrectly (certainly on floor 0) because the compressor/refrigerator unit is located on the opposite side of the floor drain on the balcony area. Thus, when the unit is running, lots of condensate surcharges from the compressor drain straight onto the balcony floor with nowhere to drain to! The room above ours was similarly fitted and when that unit condensed, the liquid then dripped down onto our balcony making the area doubly wet and potentially dangerous. The internal feed is similarly incorrectly located above the bed instead of being opposite (where it would have been perfectly situated for condensing straight into the drain! Floor 0 is two levels below Reception and one floor below the swimming pool level. On four separate occasions I reported to Reception a surcharge of what appeared to be drain/waste water rising onto the corridor floor area adjacent to the lift on that floor. On the final occasion when the smell was overpowering and obnoxious, I asked to speak to the manager who attended and eventually had the problem resolved. As I said, that took four reports over three days. All of the food I ate here at breakfast was cold or no better than luke-warm. An ordered pizza was sent back along with cold chips which formed one of my orders. The hotel/complex makes much in it's promotional literature about not diving in the (excellent) pool or playing ball games etc or by placing towels on sun beds. However, this is EXACTLY what was allowed to happen with no one challenging the activities designed not to take place! Unfortunately, the room above the one I occupied was host to a couple who made lots of noise which carried. I contacted Reception one morning at about 3;30 am to ask if they could do something about it. They didn't/couldn't. Not the fault of the hotel, rather the inconsiderate occupants of that room. The location is average with a steep hill leading to and from the beach where sunbeds are available at a cost. We found some decent restaurants between this hotel and the New Town (the Strip). Taxis are reasonable, but the tuk tuks are jokingly expensive. The Noddy train runs every twenty minutes from the roundabout near the hotel and is reasonably priced. I'd have loved to have given a better review because the staff were helpful and friendly but those were niggling issues which just need resolving. Shame, because I didn't feel as though it was worth what I had paid..
What a fantastic time we had here. The location is spot on. 5 mins to beach. 15 mins to old town. 15 mins to new town. Free Aircon. Rooms are really big Everyone overlooks the pool. Pool is great and not overcrowded. Theres 2 mini markets, 2 restaurants and 2 sports bars all within seconds of the hotel. All are pretty good. Will 100% be back here!
Stayed here as a group of girls on a long weekend Great location comfortable rooms friendly hotel staff clean pool area decent food choice for bar snacks English/ american TV channels I would stay at this hotel again
We stayed from the 27th of May for a week and really enjoyed it.We would highly recommend a higher floor room if at all possible as the views are spectacular. Ideally located between the old and new town we spent most of our time in the old town as it has such a buzz and an endless selection of restaurants of which we really enjoyed the following Flavours/Urban Pizza/Caix 44. The Inatel right on the beach front is lovely for snacks the location is spectacular. We would definitely recommend Costa Rica in the new town we've eaten here several times and it's really good. We were on a self catering package so a ten minute walk to the Continente Supermarket is a must as they stock everything. The Luna Clube Oceano was really nice and spotlessly clean we'll be back
I've just returned from a weeks stay here. The apartments are a very generous size. The bedroom had two single beds pushed together and aircon with a long mirror and plenty storage. The bathroom is your standard holiday apt bathroom and very clean. There is a press with an ironing board, iron and clothes horse. The kitchen has a hob, microwave and fridge with small ice box (would store a few ice lols) The living room has a TV with local channels but plenty in English, a good side couch (which is also a bed I think) along with a kitchen table and four chairs, there's also a second air con unit in the living room. The balcony was very big which was great but it got smaller on higher floors. We were on the 2nd floor. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment which means it's very dark which is great for sleeping but it is at the corridor (outdoor corridors) so you will hear people going up and down with luggage banging along the tiles. We didn't hear people coming in from nights out though, seems to be mainly families and couples here. The ground floor apartments have a terrace but they are not very private as they are right by the pool. The WIFI is very good by the pool, around the bar / reception and in the apts except for the bedroom. It was almost non existent in there. We had brought a chromecast but it wouldn't connect (Chromecast issue, not local wifi) The breakfast is pretty steep at €10 a head. I didn't realise this the first day but the second day I took some rolls for lunch to make the most of it as it's self service. The bar food is pretty poor. We ordered two paninis one day and it took a half hour or so to arrive. Just three tables were taken at the time and three visable floor staff and all of us looked pretty peeved waiting for the food. The panini was quite literally three slices of thick warm bread (not toast, warm bread) stacked on top of eachother with a slice of ham and cheese between each. We were pretty 'OMG' when we saw it. I should have taken a photo to post here really. When I went to pay the bar man was counting the till, I said I'd come back and he said 'no it's ok' and grabbed all the 10c coins to count, again I said I'd come back and he took for it then, I didn't fancy standing there watching him count all the till while I waited and I think he should have stepped away from the job when I arrived to the bar also. The first two days they took card payments at the bar, after that we were told we had to pay for drinks / food at reception, not a long walk but if somebody is checking in you have to wait which is inconvenient when you would prefer to be at the pool. One particular day my daughter went up with the card to get us some soft drinks and ice lols, they told her that day they could only take cash. We were at the pool and obviously staying in the hotel so when she returned with our items I figured I could go to the ATM when we were leaving the pool. But a short while later a waitress arrived down to the pool which we were now swimming in and asked me to pay in front of all other pool guests, I thought this was very unprofessional. I told her we wanted to pay but they said cash only and she said they could take card in reception, I said ok we will be up to do that and she said 'now', again in front of all guests. My daughter got out of the pool at went up to pay, 20 mins later there's no sign of her so I went up and she had been waiting behind another guest checking in or something. At that point I told them it was dreadful not to have a card machine in the bar, they said the bank only allow them one machine (I don't believe this) I told them the service was far too slow and that we should be at the pool not queuing to pay. So the bar has very very slow service and poor food. Back to the good. There's a minimart a few doors up where you can get your floaties, water, milk etc. There's also an ATM a few doors up along with two bars (the bars don't look too good but we only tried one) The beach is a 3 minute walk down the road and from that spot you can walk up the beach to the old town in 20/30 minutes. A taxi to the old town is a fiver. We paid most days for a taxi too and from so the taxi bill was 70 over the course of the week. The bus stop for shuttles to Zoomarine, cruises etc is a five min walk away which is very handy. There are plenty pool loungers and we never had a problem getting one and we are not early risers. The cleaners came in and made up the bed every day and they change towels three times a week. Overall I would recommend staying here but avoiding the food. The two closest cafe's aren't great as an alternative though. I don't think I'd return myself, I'd prefer something closer to the old town to save on the taxi fares.
On arrival check in very quick and no bother finding our room. Marcia was on reception on our arrival and was very pleasant and helpful. We were given room 404 a one bedroom apartment. As already been said by loads of previous reviewers, the apartment was fab. Nice and roomy with comfy bed, suitable kitchen with enough you need for self catering requirements. Plenty of sun beds for everybody. Couple of wee bars nearby and a couple of supermarkets. The beautiful beach is only a few minutes walk away. The apartments are in a great location in Albufeira but everybody has said this before. The staff were pleasant, the receptionists, Sandra in the bar and the cleaning ladies. Lovely place and would go back.
Beautiful hotel apartments with a lovely pool area, bar patio, jacuzzi and gym. situated right between old town and the strip this place is a walking distance to both, staff are super polite and helpful and the room service every day was fab, close to the beach aswell about 2 minute walk. thanks for having us we will definitely be returning 😊
We picked this hotel for its proximity to everything and were not disappointed. A short walk to the beach, and between Old Town and the Strip. Amenities close by and a large grocery store within walking distance as well. Free parking if you rent a car. Our apartment was a good size, a one bedroom on the 5th floor with a view of the ocean. Clean, comfortable beds, a kitchenette with everything you need, dining/livingroom and balcony. Staff were great, very helpful and courteous. Buffet breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again.
