Hotel Eva in great position, near old town and the attractive marina area. We had a standard room which was pretty basic. Compact room, nice balcony but sun never reached it! Bathroom ok, Tea and coffee not provided unless you pay the 5 € and then it doesn’t get replenished anyway. Some noise due to refurbishment but not annoying, and we were prewarned. Balcony and marina facing room cost 15€ extra per night evidently. We decided not to pay this, however in the quiet season with empty rooms and refurbishment inprogress, i did think it would have been nice to have been offered a room at a reasonable cost. breakfasts very good all self service, so sadly very little interaction with any staff. i have never stayed in a hotel where the Tv channels were so poor either, no sky, cnn, bbc world news, or any radio stations. just sub titled old films on offer , could do better on several counts.
Hotel Eva is a fabulous Hotel right next to the harbour. Excellent soundproofing from street noise. Friendly hospitality and the free breakfast is served most beautifully every morning, everything you could want and more. Buffet dinner is great value for money with a fantastic selection every evening. A wonderful hotel, would definitely stay again.
Hotel is well situated for both train and bus stations right on the edge of the marina. Staff were always friendly and attentive. Room was comfortable and clean. Some minor disruption due to refurbishments did not spoil our stay - although we would have loved to have eaten dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was an extensive buffet with generous hours. We loitered several mornings for an hour, enjoying the fresh fruit, breads and pastries as well as eggs freshly cooked - all washed down with Bucks Fizz. We wandered around the Old Town as well as taking local train to Olhao and Tavira. Boat trip around the lagoon was truly relaxing. Found plenty of restaurants for snacks and dinner.
Stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and the breakfast was quite extensive complete with Champagne for those cheeky holiday brekkies. Recommended for convenience to town center and great view over the marina.
The hotel has a prime location. You can walk about to visit the old town and eat in the sourrounding area. The room we had looked at the marina so it had a wonderful view. The hotel at the moment it’s being renovated still, the noise is kept to a minimum. The service at reception area is efficient and attentive. However, there is much service needed at the buffet. Tables are left unclean, only one coffee machine for expresso and when it needed for more beans, a long queu was formed and no hot milk. Still, I would totally recommend it. The parking spaces may be a serious issue during Summer as the hotel has a few spots on the street.
We stayed here about 3 years ago and really enjoyed it so decided to come back after we had renewed our vows. I love it here so relaxing peaceful , clean spacious rooms and staff amazing We booked hotel transfers as well. We got a room overlooking the marina and it was perfect! We booked to go back October 2018 💕
Wonderful hotel overlooking the harbour had a corner suite with extensive views Staff are excellent Parking on road round the corner free of charge Currently undergoing renovations which will make a great hotel even better
this hotel is near to the centre ,you can reach by foot,it is though pretty expensive ;the pool on the roof is the attraction of this hotel. The room was nice, clean .Parking in front of the hotel can be a problem
We stayed at Hotel Eva for a few nights at the end of a Portuguese winter getaway. The service at the hotel is of a very high and helpful standard. Our room was very tired, pokey and dated. Mould in the shower, A very old and small tv. A hair dryer straight from the 70s. No aircon whilst we stayed. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was pretty good although partly ruined by the cold coffee every morning.
We went to hotel Eva on 23rd to 30th December. I upgraded to a suite and thoroughly enjoyed the space , the views from the balcony. The suite was everything we desired and more. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was a good standard. We had such a great time exploring faro that I have just booked to go back to Eva in February this tear for a Birthday. Can’t wait!
