Back from a 3 night stay. This is a good hotel in the best position overlooking the marina. Rooms are fine but not what uk visitors would consider 4 star. No complimentary water, tea coffee facilities or robes or slippers in the standard sea view rooms. Apart from that rooms were fine if not a little small, also only 1 chair at the table inside, why not 2 it was a double room. Also no mini bar unless you pay for it, surely a few complimentary bottles of water or a bottle of beer or soft drink should be included in a 4* hotel. Breakfast good and views amazing. The only bar open at this time of the year was the lobby bar with no atmosphere or views. Could they not have a small lounge/ bar on the top floor beside the restaurants all year round. Would stay again if price was right.

It was our first time to Faro. The Hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were very helpful. We stayed in a room overlooking the Marina, beautiful views of the Marina and Town. I highly recommend the Hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Amazing holiday thank you Kelly for the smooth check-in it really makes a huge difference to start a holiday good. Our first breakfast Fernandas omelette yummy the selection of great food was the best I have ever seen surely deserves a 5 star. The porter offered great advice on the area and was always there to secure a taxi or for a lovely friendly chat on the area and things to do. A big Thank You to all concerned and the wonderful guidance from management who steer the ship. Imagine another another 5 nights of paradise. 😎😗😁😅

One of two fairly modern hotels overlooking the harbour of Faro. A very warm welcome by the staff and proved to be most helpful during our stay. Every where was very clean and well furnished. Our side of the hotel overlooked the harbour and had a delightful balcony. Bedrooms on the other side of the hotel overlooked the main street and would not have been my choice. The bedroom is well furnished with fridge and air conditioning. There are no facilities for tea making. The only negative is that of the numerous tv channels, not one is in English! The buffet breakfast is one of the best I have experienced!

Stayed in Hotel Eva in October, hotel was lovely and clean. Suite was large with a good sized balcony overlooking the marina. Hotel situated in a good location right next to the Marina and within a short stroll to Faro's Old Town. Two little problems we encountered room was not ready when we arrived at the hotel not a problem at first so we popped out to get some food. Returned 1.5 hours later young male receptionist phoned housekeeping and said it would be another 15 minutes before the room would be ready. We went to sit in the lobby thinking that he would let us know when the room was ready as he was aware we were waiting in the lobby, he didn't so we had to go to reception and ask for a 3rd time!!! Check in finally completed by a very friendly female receptionist. The breakfast set up in the morning also needs to be reviwed by Management, the room and food is lovely with a very large selection of hot / cold meats, cheese, fruit, pastries etc provided. However guests were ignored by staff members on a daily basis during our stay as they do not request your room number when entering the room. Personally on our first morning we were ignored 3 times by a young male who looked like he really didn't want to be there so we just walked into the room in the end! I noticed that this happened to a lot of other guests during our stay as they would stand at the door waiting on someone to take their room number just to be ignored by the staff members. However, apart from the two issues with the reception staff and the breakfast it was a very pleasant stay and would stay in the hotel.

We stayed two nights in late September in this conveniently located hotel. Our room, 420, was on the city side. It was an ordinary room, oldish furnishing but still okay. The air conditioning was quite loud, however, this likely masked the noise from the rooftop pool area where there was thumping music. Breakfast was fine with a large but average selection. Convenient for exploring Faro, by the bus station and the marina and less than 2 blocks from the train station. The 2 guest elevators are very small and frustratingly slow. Reception easily gets overwhelmed so it can be useful to checkout the night before departure. Apparently the pool and rooftop bar are not managed by the hotel and if you want towels you need to go to reception to get them and leave a 10 euro deposit per towel! Recommend for location.

We stayed at the Hotel for 2 nights. It is in a great location next to the Marina and the old town. We had a room facing the street - it was a decent sized room and very comfortable. However the bathroom was in need of a makeover and the room a lick of paint. Breakfast was great - a good selection of hot and cold food and the views from the restaurant across the Rio Formosa are fab. The roof terrace and pool are also great. I have scored the hotel down because of the room decor plus we didn't have the best of welcomes on arrival from reception (the receptionist was on the phone for ages and ignored us and the other staff didn't attend to us) and generally the reception appeared to be understaffed.

We stayed at hotel EVA in faro over the half term in October. We were two adults and two kids aged 12 and 9. The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the marina, the old City, shopping plaza and great restaurants/bars. Great boat tours and a ferry service close by to get out to the islands. The islands are a great place to visit !! We had a suite on the third floor and it Was beautiful, very clean with a great marina view. We were really surprised to have two big bathrooms, 2 TVs, a large balcony and a Door separating master bedroom from the Lounge area where the sofa bed was for the kids. Roof top pool was great and couldn’t fault the buffet breakfast. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Thank you

After British Standards, this is a 3 stars hotel but charges prices for 4*. Avoid rooms 413 and 414 because of the noise from the terrace above (starts at 7am and ends around 2am). We complained at the reception 3 days in the row but they changed the room only when I put my foot down. No tea/coffee facilities in the room and no iron/ironing board, which I found inconvenient. We had to pay extra for a kettle and iron. No gowns or slippers offered as one would expect at 4*s (charged at 15 euros if you ask for it). There is a Safe in the room. The TV is antique, small for the room. Probably only 17", if that. The programs in English didn't have good reception. Breakfast: very well cooked and plenty of choice. I had lunch a couple of times and it was very good at a good price. We didn't dine there. The view from the restaurant is absolutely wonderful. Minibar: 2 x 330ml bottles of water at 2.25 euro EACH. I didn't touch them. Excellent for plane spotters, otherwise the noise can disturb the sleep in the mornings. The hotel is very close to the airport under the take-off path. The pool was very cold - is October after all- people were sunbathing but nobody used the pool. Maybe a 4* hotel could heat the water -only a suggestion. The water was not recirculated when I was there so I'm not sure how it was cleaned. It was quite a lot of sand on the bottom.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September with my partner, weather was fab, location of hotel is perfect (10minutes in a taxi from airport), friendly and helpful staff, room was ready for us even though we arrived early, our room had a marina view which was lovely, the room was ready for decaration (ripped wallpaper / paint worn away) but it was ok other than that and shower was amazing ! Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and the roof top pool was so relaxing, amazing views of Faro, drinking cocktails and the well needed break from work made this holiday for us, we will definitely return and would stay at this hotel. Faro is a beautiful place, so laid back, lovely places to eat, loved it so much.
