Stunning accommodation, friendly staff everyone of them went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed, food was absolutely stunning plenty of fresh vegetables and salads to go with different meats We cannot wait to go back,
Where shall I start the apartment are great the food was the same every day no entertainment. You cant have certain drinks . Very boring place no good for kids.the staff was not friendly . We got there on boxing day .
very clean, good location, environmental friendly, comfortable and good value for money, the reception serviced for 24 hours. public transport available go to the old town for free. it will be better if they inform client to bring their own swimming hats.
The Eden Resort was a great place to escape from our normal responsibilities over Christmas and New Year. We could not believe how big our apartment was - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lounge diner with 2 sofas, a kitchen, entrance hall and garden area. Ok, the location is a bit out of the way on a hill, but the old town is pretty close, the buffet meals are excellent, and the beer, gin and wine in the all inclusive deal are good. The service in the restaurant was excellent. The cleaning staff would be better if they focused on emptying bins rather than endless mopping of the stone floors of the apartments, but that is my only criticism. Great place, great winter weather, and our deal via Loveholidays was great value.
First impressions of the place are good the check in was professional. They have a late room availability of 16:00 and an early check out of 11:00. The resort is large and there is no assistance with bags which could be an issue. The accommodation is very spacious and comfortable. We had a villa and we could have lived in the place happily. TV down stairs and nothing upstairs. Hairdryer on request from reception with card details held in case you run off with it. WiFi in accommodation when the TV is on and in reception. The accommodation is to a very high standard with fully fitted kitchen. No tea and coffee or water provided. The all standard inclusive package is very disappointing. They try to make you upgrade with an additional daily charge. Bar opened at 10:00 with no spirits served until 14:00! The restaurant hot drinks are from a machine and only available during meal times and from the bar. They do have a fresh coffee available with a extra charge. The local spirits are not up to standard and not recommended. G&T and beer were the only drinks we could stand. Cocktail menu is very limited and mainly sweet selections. The bar is very uncomfortable and noise levels become very excessive. Entertainment is non-existent. The Apple bar up stairs and open from 20:00 and like a shoe box. The restaurant is good but they increase the tables at peak times to the point where you can't move about. The food is very good and to a high standard. Good rotation of foods and well presented and seasoned. The staff are very professional and attentive. The indoor pool is very small and can get too busy very quickly. The staff do nothing to control this area. Very often the steam room and sauna are not turned on unless you request. Which means they take a great deal of time to heat up. The shop on site is very expensive and there is a shop 10mins down the hill that is half the price. The local town is 20mins walk and shuttle bus is available. The play area is well maintained and there is a very nice fish pond. We stayed over Christmas and was very disappointed not to see one santa-claus for the children. Relaxing stay but they have let themselves down with a few main areas. We will not be back and the same for most people we spoke to over our stay.
We had a week holiday there, fully enjoyed the resort and will recommend to all friends and families. Room floor can be a bit more clean but the staff are working very hard most the time. We enjoyed the Spa, indoor swimming pool is small but it’s okay for our little son.
Stayed here over Xmas and a very enjoyable time was had by all. Stayed in a 3 bed villa which was clean, spacious and modern. Main restaurant was as good as ever, good choice of food everyday and the staff helpful and efficient. The Apple Bar has been refurbished and the new changes make it a lot more spacious inside .A big thanks to all the staff there for making this another great Xmas week in Albufeira. Keep up the good work.
Amazing place staff great can’t do enough to help you we would have stayed for a lot longer only never been to Portugal before would love to come back.very clean and great food bar staff very good and we will be coming back loved it
Great place to stay. Accommodation was very spacious and had every needed for self catering and the option to use the restaurant at a small cost was a bonus. Close enough to town to enjoy the beautiful beaches and fabulous restaurants. Free shuttle was great. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Once again a lovely Xmas break at the Eden Resort-stayed in 1 bed apartment this time - prefer villas but 1 bed apartment was adequate for our needs Only downside is the steps as they are above the the 2 bed apartments & the 2 beds also get sun lounges on balcony & we didnt 😢 all in all polite helpful obliging staff - food ok - free shuttle is a bonus to the old town - clean room & clean resort - drinks plentiful - spa therapy brilliant-daniella did my nails again this year & are still perfect! So a big thank you to her 👍we will be returning again in December to Eden for the third time without a doubt x
