Travelling as a couple with adult daughter wanted something with separate bedrooms. Through Jet2 holidays we booked a week half board at Eden Resort in a two bedroom villa. It was perfect - downstairs living/dining room, fully fitted kitchen with everything, and downstairs toilet/washroom, upstairs two bedrooms both en-suite. Perfect in every way. Food was taken in the main reception/dining block and was good, plenty choice, even for our daughter, who is difficult to please. Good choice breakfasts including English and themed evening meals. There are swimming pools and he grounds are beautiful. The resort is on a hill top outside Albufiera but runs a courtesy bus four times a day, but it only took us about 20 minutes to walk to the old town. Taxi returns if you wanted to return without waiting for the courtesy bus cost less than four euro. We would very much like to return to this resort - it was a brilliant break.

Wonderful resort with very helpful staff Ana at reception very helpful all other staff very good .food was very good and all day if you want recommend all inclusive lovely variety . apartments are fantastic one bedroom are upstairs and includes a pull out sofa bed if needed and two bedrooms downstairs and two bathrooms too both apartments have external seating areas and Sun loungers in the two bedroom apartments free safe is a bonus and free WiFi fully fitted kitchens with huge fridge freezer and also dishwasher and microwave if needed. There is a,free shuttle bus into two several tines into the old town and if you miss it only 3 half euro back and drivers, are very helpful all in all a,great resort.there are some lovely bars, and restaurants in the old town and recommend going in the soft seating restaurant just above the beach top amazing and very cheap and lovely fresh fruit smoothes.we met loads of lovely people and will defiantly recommend and will be returning thank you for a,lovely holiday.recommend a cardigan in March as it can get a little chilly at night but the apartments, have heating which is great if need for the colder nights.

Had a weeks break in Eden Resort and had a good time. Lovely accomodation large lounge and bedroom adequately equiped kitchen and TV with wi fi facilities. Restaurant with great food with plenty of choice. OK the breakfast was the same every day but there was lots to choose from grilled food cereal yoghurt fruit eggs etc. All inclusive drinks were great but others were available at good prices. Recommend the Port and local wines. Upstairs bar was closed so a little cramped for space but it was out of season. Very little entertainment but it was was out of season. Grounds imaculate and pools excellent. Great indoor pool and sauna and steam room. Free shuttle to town am and pm. Able for small price to eat meals if late pick up . Will certainly go again.

We have been to the Eden Resort a few times now and we stay in a 2 bed villa. It is clean, comfy and I could not find fault with it at all, its fantastic. During this visit we enjoyed some excellent sightseeing to the beautiful surrounding villages and the Caves. The staff are excellent, George in the restaurant is very nice, as are all the staff. Paula taught us a few phases to use during our time there. My friend Sandra and I always feel very welcome at the Eden and every year we talk about going somewhere else but the truth is we dont think there is anywhere else that would match the quality of the Eden or the friendly staff :) Margaret & Sandra.X

We have been to the Eden Resort on numerous occasions and have always had a superb holiday. The resort offers excellent well equipped accommodation with lovely friendly staff who have become good friends. We visit this resort at least twice a year and intend to continue to do s.

The two bedroom apartment was very spacious, the beds comfortable, a full sized fridge/freezer which was great. Good dining table and chairs. Outside patio with table, chairs & sun loungers The cleaning service was pretty good and we always had plenty of clean towels. New towels for bathing and pool were very welcome. Good changing facilities at the indoor pool and the pool was heated. Sauna and steam room. Free wifi through the wide-screen TV was good but if you saved a site on the smart TV, you would have to retune each day. It would be great if TV was a little bigger & had more Irish and English stations. Good modern cooker. Plenty of parking spaces which was great as we had a car. You can avail of the shuttel bus service again a nice touch. You are close to the old town in Albuferia. Now it would be a good enough walk but would be a few euros in a taxi. Cons- a dishwasher that took a few days to figure out as the writing had faded & no dishwasher tablets. No cloth to wash dishes or scruber. Called reception to ask if we should have a tee towel to be told no. The cleaner eventually provided one. Had to call 2 times to get a kettle as we had 3 in a two week holiday. The toaster burnt the toast so had to keep an eye on it. Some of the appliances were just cheap stuff. Had to get new lock on my bedroom patio door & a lock fixed in the back door. The maintained men or cleaners left the back doors open in the apartment 2 times during or stay, not impressed. thankfully, we used the free safe that is in the room. Nice touch. Hot water appears to be an issue, little pressure and lack off hot water at times. The showers in the apartment need to be modernised. If they could change them to the same showers you get in the indoor pool area that would be a welcome addition. The curtains wouldnt pull over in the room. The outside needs a painting as the paint had come off due to heavy rain the night before we arrived. No proper bar area as the bar was being revamped not before time apparently. It would have been nice to have been drawn to the bar but sadly this was lacking during our stay, nothing really to entice you to stay around. We managed to get most things addressed before we left so the next occupants should have less issues. In fairness, the staff would try to resolve things in a quick and timely fashion. Eden Resort is so close to be top class but it's these little & not so little things that is letting it down. All in all after taking everything into account, I would return. Aldi and Lidl not too far away and a huge shopping centre, Algarve Shopping about 6 KM away well worth a visit (US style shopping Mall) with everything in it.

Went here with 6 of my mates on stag party all inclusive. Can't find any faults with this place. Food was awesome and drinks were very good. 10 euro to new town for night life. Not buzzing this time of year but enough pubs and restaurants opened. Old town is very quite at night. I'd defiantly go back with my family. And recommend this place to anyone. We checked out at 11am and our pick up wasn't until 3.15pm so we were aloud to keep our all inclusive armbands until we left. All in all 9.8 out of 10.

Just returned from a short stay at the Eden resort and couldn't fault it. Staff all so welcoming and friendly especially on reception, and the pool assistant Armando was fabulous always there to help and going above and beyond around the hotel to make sure everything is in order and to chat when walking by. The food was gorgeous big variety to chose from, I am vegetarian and it catered perfectly for me. Free shuttle bus going into the town was amazingly helpful saves paying for a taxi. Rooms very spacious and have everything you could possibly need, bed also very comfy. Wifi available at most places throughout the hotel and in the rooms which is very helpful. Beautiful hotel will definitely be returning x

We stayed at the Eden Resort from 10th to 17th March, on a bed & breakfast basis. The buffet style breakfasts were really very good - with "proper" pork sausages (not the usual hot dog variety); bacon; hash browns; mushrooms; baked beans; half tomatoes; scrambled eggs (or you could ask for friend or poached eggs & these were freshly cooked for you). Then 3 types of ceral; fresh breads; croissants; toaster facilities; fresh fruit; yoghurts; meats & cheeses. Coffee & tea machines, and fruit juice machines also provided in the dining room area There is also an outdoor balcony area for taking in the sunshine whilst dining. At most resorts you usually just get a bedroom & bathroom when booked on a B&B basis, however at this resort we got an apartment - with a full sized & fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher; fridge freezer; cooker; microwave; toaster; ironing board & iron. Good sized bedroom. Good sized bathroom with shower over the bath. Large lounge area with L-shaped sofa with flat screen television, wi-fi, and a dining area too & this was just the one bedroom apartment. So we were very pleased. We were told that the resort was built as a time share originally but then as the time share market declined it was bought and is used as a hotel complex. Our 1st floor apartment had a balcony over looking the adults pool, and at the front door area there was a further couple of chairs and table too - ideal for catching the sun either at the morning (balcony over looking the pool) or evening (overlooking the front area). The resort is about a 20 minute walk to the town centre, or alternatively a 4 minute drive in the complex's shuttle bus, which ran at 10am, 12 noon, 2pm and 5pm - with the return journey being at the same time. Alternatively taxi's are only 4 euros each way. The complex is kept clean, with maid service 5 days out of 7. All the resort staff were very nice & pleasant & helpful. It was my birthday whilst I was there & on coming back to our apartment I found a card, bottle of wine, and fresh fruit with chocolate dip as a "birthday treat" from the resort. There is an indoor pool, which also has a sauna and steam room. In order to use the indoor pool you are required to purchase a swimming cap - which you can buy for 5 euros from the mini-market which is on the complex. There are also 3 outdoor pool areas, with a separate pool being for adults only. Ample sunbeds are also provided & you can get your pool towel from the resort too. Room tip - If you have children's push chairs you may be better asking for a ground floor apartment to save climbing the dozen stairs to the apartment. Look forward to returning to this complex.

Spent a week at the Eden Resort in March 2017 with my husband. Arrived late at night, smooth check in and were even given a packed meal as we had missed dinner - very welcome. Apartment 46 was huge. One bedroom, large kitchen, spacious lounge diner and balcony. Very modern just a little tired in bathroom and some of the furnishings but overall very impressive. Would have been nice to have loungers on balcony. Little out of the old town but a pleasant downhill walk if you so decide or free shuttle if not. Bit hilly on return but taxi cheap. Pool areas very nice and clean though one of the pools was emply during our visit. Didn't use indoor pool but heard it was cold. Food great. Not a huge choice but what was there was of good quality and plenty of it. Salads at lunchtime were lovely. Wine was good, as were cocktails but didn't go much on plastic glasses - but I understand the need for them. Drawbacks. The public lounge areas are dire. The Apple bar was being improved whilst we were there (we were told in advance) so we had to use the Kiosk bar early evening, then the restaurant later on. Both were brightly lit, high ceilinged and therefore very noisy and not at all comfortable areas to relax and enjoy a drink. Some guests allowed their children (we deliberatley went in term time...) to run wild and be generally very noisy. I hope the improvements to the Apple Bar solve this problem. Our daughter is visiting in May so I will be intrested to hear her comments. Overall a great holiday, mainly because we met another couple so could spend our evenings with them blocking out the non ambient surroundings.
