I'd popped into the Conrad Algarve years ago and instinctively didn't like its brutalist architecture, its haughty, marble grandeur. I'll be honest, I wasn't much looking forward to spending two nights here with my wife. It promised to be cold, impersonal. Wow was I wrong. By the end of 2 nights/3 days I felt like I was part of a family. The rooms, the staff, the restaurants, everything entices you in and makes you feel happy. A smile here, a comment there as staff remember you from the previous day. You look lost, a staff member asks you if you're ok. You take a selfie, someone comes up and asks if they can take one for you. And it's infectious: other guests seem to get the vibe and smile and chat with you too. It's a rare thing in my experience. Add to the all-round "niceness" the great breakfast, a fabulous meal at Gusto, superfast internet speeds, clean and attractive pools and a really comfy bed, and you get a stay to remember. Talk about exceed expecations!
What a hotel!!! service amazing, staff excellent, will be back.hotel grounds kept spotless, infinity pool is heated, sunbeds as thick as your mattress had a wonderful stay, amazing food, beautiful pool view room with lovely furniture on huge balcony, felt welcomed and valued
This property was incredible. If you are looking for a place with excellent service and a great spa! My husband and I came here at the beginning of April for our honeymoon. We had such a great experience at this hotel. The entire facility is really well done. Multiple pools (indoor and outdoor), the spa is really great for lounging and relaxing (also a private horizon pool), the breakfast in the morning was the best we had in Europe. We booked a King Deluxe Suite with Pool View- the balcony attached was huge and perfect for sipping wine- the view of the Algarve region was spectacular! We cannot thank the hotel staff enough for making us feel so special on our honeymoon (see pictures). As a Hilton Gold member- this was definitely recognized and the perks for membership were fantastic at this location! We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip! The location is also really close to beaches (complimentary shuttle from hotel), shops, and restaurants!
We have stayed here twice, both times for a weekend. The checkin process sets the tone as it is very personal and efficient with very helpful staff. It is luxurious so say the least and the bedrooms are spacious and lovely. Breakfast is a total pleasure too. Can thoroughly recommend. However, it is not near a beach but the gardens and pool areas are beautiful.
Fabulous hospitality at this beautiful property - made exceptional by the quality of the staff. Beautiful setting and pools, restaurants and relaxation. The food and wine representative of the region and country have been a delight.
Perfect from beginning to end - a one level upgrade from lowest level to grand room. I was given the quiet room I asked for. Service/dining impeccable from check in to check out. Thank you for a top experience.
Disappointed I didn't go in the summer months, because it was a wonderful resort with luxury pool lounges.. the staff were very friendly & helpful.. not far from beautiful beaches & beachside restaurants..
We had a week here in April and thought the rooms were great, connecting door for the children and even a mini kitchen unit in one of the cupboards. The hotel is inland with no sea view but there is a connecting shuttle to the beach with the hotel having its own area there (took about 15 mins to get to the beach though). The only real gripe we had was the incredibly expensive food. We had lunch by the pool and found that even a small bowl (and it was only a handful, literally) of nachos with a very small pot of dip was over 18 euros (over £16!!). A toasted sandwich was 22 euros Breakfast was also the same. It was too much when you have a family of 4. I never complain but had to say that the micro bowl of nachos (less than you get in a small packet of crisps for £16) was ridiculous (they took them back it has to be said). This extortion spoilt the experience at the hotel a bit but it is still a good hotel if you can afford to eat there.
Short stay for 2 days in Quinta for a wedding. Only experienced bed an d breakfast but very impressed with this hotel, would have liked a longer stay Staff very friendly facilities very good Trouser pressing shoe cleaning all included a very nice extra.
We stayed for 4 nights over Easter. Originally I was not keen on our rooms, 402 and 403 as the balcony was right over the entrance to the hotel but it was fine and we were not really overlooked. The rooms were lovely with a big bathroom with walk in shower and two doors between the bedroom and toilet - more private than most. The service was second to none, cold water by the pool, nothing too much trouble. One of the best breakfasts I have seen with pleasant friendly staff. The pools never felt too busy and there were plenty of sun beds. Really exceeded all expectations and I would highly recommend.
