THe Boa Vista Hotel is a little gem, with the best staff we have ever seen in a hotel. From the reception staff to the dining room and bar staff they are all so friendly and committed. Usual problem with sun beds just need more ! Love the adults only aspect as its peaceful and relaxed. Quite an uphill walk after a night in the old town, but you can always get a taxi or just prepare yourself for a walk. Loved the location and we would definitely return - Thank you to all staff you are fantastic !!

We have just returned from a week at this hotel and we couldn't fault it. When we arrived our room was already ready so we didn't have to wait. The room was immaculate and bigger than we thought it would be. We had a sea view and what a view it was. The room is cleaned everyday along with the hotel the pool and the grounds. It was spotless. We stayed bed and breakfast and it was fine it catered for every taste and was always enough food. The bar staff Naz Carlos and Manwell make the whole area. They are polite friendly and go out of their way to help you they are a credit to the hotel. The old town was about a 10 minute walk. The walk back isn't to bad. We used the tup tup service as the hotel gate is closed at 10pm. The cost was 12 euro but its all part of the holiday. We will be returning to this hotel next year.

We are currently on our last night of our first holiday together and i can say it's been amazing. The hotel staff are so professional and friendly, rooms are cleaned and tidy, sea view is fantastic and the pool area is lovely! Nothing in this hotel is to much of a problem for any member of staff. The breakfast wasn't quite to our liking and could maybe do with jazzing up a little. Wifi was good , telle in the room and fresh towels daily. Nice touches like fresh fruit and little sandwiches brought round throughout the day! Only little down sides are the price of Magners went up 2 euros in a day?! Also mini fridge but no key unless you pay! 3 euros a bottle of water, so we found ourselves walking down the steps to the nearest shop. Town is very close, lovely square and lots of restaurants to choose from. Hotel is made by the friendly and attentive staff , would return.

Booked to stay here for a week from 22nd July as it was adults only and we didn't want to stay in a hotel with loads of kids. As soon as we got the, Hugo on reception was very friendly and got us to our rooms - rooms are basic but very very clean and we paid extra for a sea view which I would definitely advise! Maids are fab and will always make the effort to stop and speak to you but a special mention must be made to Nas who seems to work everywhere in the hotel, bar, restaurant, round the pool etc and he is always smiling, eager to strike up a conversation when he brings fruit round in the morning and sandwiches in the afternoon! There are only two things that would stop me giving 5* for this and one is the gate at the bottom which shuts at 10pm so you then have to walk around a steep hill to get back to the hotel (would an intercom not be easier or a swipe card?) And twice we were woken by what sounded like furniture being moved around upstairs, other than that, I couldn't fault the hotel and would cone and stay again without a doubt :-)

Just back from a weeks stay at this hotel and almost nothing to complain about. Firstly the hotel is an older hotel with some minor signs of wear and tear however overall it is pretty good. Rooms are kept spotlessly clean albeit some of the décor is a bit dated. Bathroom also kept very clean with fresh towels daily and a decent shower. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely keen to make the stay special The views from the upper floor rooms over the town and beaches are spectacular and worth the few extra quid for the "ocean view". Hotel location is excellent very close to Old Town which is a pleasant 10 minute walk away downhill via some steps from the hotel pool area down to the road at the rear of the hotel. This brings me to one of the couple of negative points which the hotel could and should address. The gate at the bottom of the steps is closed and locked at 10pm meaning the walk back to the hotel front door is a longer way round and all uphill. Surely the gate at the rear could be fitted with a lock that can be activated by the room keys giving quicker and easier access when guests are returning later at night. Second niggle is that there is a fridge in the room however the door needs a key to access it and this costs 2.50€ per day to "hire", despite the fact that the fridge is switched on anyway !! Come on Belver you really need to have a rethink about this punitive charge. Hopefully someone from the hotel reads these reviews and they act on the above two negatives points All that said however I would still return and recommend so maybe that's why they don't !!

My sisters and I stayed at this brilliant hotel for the last two years, the staff were very helpful and friendly especially Suzanna & Hugo on reception to the waiters & waitresses in the restaurant & the great ladies that clean all the rooms, I couldn't say anything negative about this hotel & just can't wait to return June 2018, Love you guys. Paula, Mag Theresa & Helen

On the roof, which the hotel know about when I complained, are loose sheets of metal which in a wind make a terrible noise at night affecting your sleep. Had I been in a lower floor I would have given the hotel a 5/5 as the staff are excellent, the bar and food are very good and the overall hotel is comfortable. The hotel has great views and the pool is good. Handy for beach and marina. Wifi fine. Tip: do NOT allow a booking on the 5th floor.

We had a lovely time and the hotel is situated very close to the old town. The staff are very attentive, the hotel and rooms are very clean. We reported a couple of issues in our room and they were taken care off within a couple of hours. I like my reviews to be practical and advise on the little things that can have an impact on your holiday. The area is not flat and there are quite a few climbs especially on the way back to the hotel from the old town. The rooms have safety deposit boxes, which as expected you pay additional for. The rooms also have fridges which you pay extra for the use of. The rooms DO NOT have tea or coffee making facilities and do not offer the facility to hire a kettle. So if like most Brits you like a brew when you wake up you need make other arrangements, we purchased a kettle from the supermarket which is about 2 mins walk to the right if you exit the hotel by going down the back steps near the pool to the lower street level. There is also a very nice bar overlooking the sea if you continue to walk past the supermarket. Watch the prices in the supermarket on the till, I was charged 20 euros for a bottle of spirit that was marked up at 11.33 this was corrected when I pointed it out. The food is ok, lots of fish as would be expected, but not a great deal of choice, usual cold choices for starters, salad etc., three choices of main course and gorgeous deserts. Breakfast similar sort of thing, usual cereals, bread, toast etc. bacon, eggs, boiled, fried or scrambled, chipolata sausages, tomato and beans, all very nice but always the same. The sunbeds are a bit tired but they are replacing them a few at a time. A lovely touch at the pool, the staff bring round a drink or fruit late morning and sandwiches late afternoon. This hotel is clean and quiet, does what it says on the tin but without the frills

Perfect holiday. Location was great service and food available was always lovely and the rooms were lovely. I cannot fault the hotel or the place. We had a wonderful time. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help

Very friendly staff. Reception staff were very helpful. Location not very good, too many hills to climb to get back to hotel. Could have better entertainment at night. Nice location for the Marina and nice restaurants nearby.
