Some minor things was malfunctioning. But I think previous guests had not told the reception. The outside area is green and nice-looking. Our apartment 36-0B, basement level front, ground level back, was very large, lovely colors and was attractive furnished. Everything you need was there. 5 minutes walk to one of the the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Algarve. Small but large on the same time. Perfect even for children. We are looking for an apartment to buy on this cost, and in spite of its low location we consider this one. Large terrace and nice view over the hill a bit away. The apartments in this resort differs very much, seen to location, and differs some interior.

We wanted a short break from the cold. We got that, as it was between 15-17 centigradefor the 5 days. However, we did have 1 day of quite heavy rain, and showers on a couple of other days. The hotel was quiet, as was the town, but it was mid March. We enjoyed our time, as it provided what we wanted, a short warmer break.

We stayed four nights in a modern one bed apartment which was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished with a spacious lounge. It had a smallish galley kitchen area which was extremely well equipped. The apartment was serviced every fourth day and we had peaceful and comfortable nights sleep. In the main block there was a heated pool for adults, one for children located in a separate area and also a toddlers pool. There were plenty of available sun loungers. Although I did not eat at the on site restaurant it had a reasonably priced menu and there were plenty of friendly staff always available. The reception team were excellent . The only improvements that could have been made was the free use of the safe (15 euros per week) and the provision of more comfortable pillows.... otherwise it was faultless.

All was perfect...the place, the weather and people who take care of the condo....I’ll be happy to come back soon .... Algarve is the best place to stay during the winter : beach’s are awesome and the little town of Baia da Luz very kindly....

After having been living full time in this resort for 6 years we will again complement the services by the Director Bruno Correia and his staff. The resort is well maintained. The staff is friendly and service minded. The gardeners are doing their utmost to keep up the grounds which gives us all a pleasant view. We have recently moved to another country, but whenever we will return to Praia da Luz, we do know that Baia da Luz Resort Hotel is the place to be in. The location is excellent, Walking distance to all bars, restaurants and to the beach. The 24 hour round the clock security is appreciated.

We have stayed at Baia da Luz many times but had never posted a review. We stayed for a week during October half term and loved every minute. Apartment, grounds and pool area were all spotless as usual. We loved the new Nespresso machines in the apartment, a lovely touch. We stayed in a duplex apartment and loved the views and the amount of space in the apartment. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and the beach a 5-10 minute walk. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Luz.

Have stayed at this complex before so knew what to expect. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Beach is a 5 minute walk and there are loads of restaurants in the near vicinity. Wifi was free and reasonably fast. My only criticism would be that I would not expect to have to pay to use the safe but that's being picky. Nice pool on the site that was never crowded but I suspect that might be different if you visited July/Aug. Not the cheapest place to stay but IMO it does offer good value.

Excellent location near beach, restaurants and shops. The apartments are very comfortable and well equipped. WiFi works very well. Lift takes you directly from underground garage to floor of your apartment.

Vitor at the reception desk is fantastic! He made our stay so much fun. This resort has everything and is a short walk to the beach. I could have stayed forever! The pool was perfect. Our accommodations were spotless. I can't say enough. I'll be back!

Unbelievable. . Apartment 40.1D thought I was taking a stress relief week off but between an ant invasion as well as flying ants and other creepy crawlers it's more agrivation than a body should have to put up with. Added agrivation of no hot water despite Maintenance assuring it would be back within the hour however 3 hours later no hot water but the promise of a security guard to sort it out - poor guy didn't know where the boiler was. Disengenuious to call it faulty towers! Promise of a new apartment tomorrow.. stay tuned
