The hotel is well located and the staff are lovely and helpful. Unfortunately, the room is noisy and smells humidity, definitely not worth £300 per night. If you book at this hotel, please avoid room number 1 and 2 as those 2 rooms are next to the main door entrance for the personnel and impossible to rest as they start early.

We loved it here! It's beautiful and clean, the staff were amazing, the location is great. It's in the action but if you want to stay in for the night it's quiet in the room. I 100% recommend staying at Vila Origins.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was attentive, the rooms were very clean, and large bathroom. We loved the beautiful pool and cabanas and the breakfast was unbelievable. I highly recommend this place if you’re in doubt no negatives at all.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great continental breakfast. There was noise from the streets in the room I had. I didn’t like the fitted sheet on the bed, it was not crisp and had pilling, however I did not share my concerns about it with the staff, and I’m certain they would have addressed the issue should I have brought it up. They were very accommodating and everything else was excellent

An incredible hotel!

An amazing hotel in a perfect location. It is in the middle of everything but there is a sense of seclusion. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are contential and always changing. They give you a sense of some of the local foods.

An oasis of calm

This really is an oasis of calm and comfort amongst the madness of albufeira. The team at vila origens were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with good choice of continental food (eggs also available), they had a small menu of lunch items but no evening meal. This wasnt a problem as so many restaurants in the vicinity.

Magical!

Absolutely beautiful hotel, well run and maintained. All staff were amazing. Specialty cocktails made by Paulo were delicious. Very comfortable stay. Breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend. We hope to come back one day. Great location, walked to hotel from where our bus dropped us off. Many restaurants and bars walking distance. Super close to the beach.

Vila Origens is an amazing find. It is in the heart of the old town of Albufeira, literally built next to the city castle wall, hence their name. Their infinity pool is right next to the 1000 year old castle wall, with a breathtaking view of the village hills. This is a new vila so while the location is ancient, the facility is cutting edge including floor heating in the bathroom which dries up the shower remnants rapidly and leaving the bathroom fresh. The free breakfast buffet consists of an amazing spread of local cheese, cured meats, pastry and fruit, a king’s feast all presented on a nice platter brought to our table. The best part of this place is the staff, particularly Vera who was born in town and a true local and gave us the local view of this old fishing village that has in the last 15 years turned into a hot tourist spot. If you are looking for a boutique resort with all the amenities you can ask for, in the best location of town and a super nice staff, Vila Origens is it!

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the Old Town. Staff were all excellent and very helpful and we had a really enjoyable stay. The champagne breakfast was excellent. Our ‘Happy night’ room was a good size and all the facilities were excellent. The pool area and hot tub terrace were beautiful with sun loungers and seating. Will definitely stay again if we visit Albufeira in the future.

Excellent Experience. Very nice property close to beach and main square. Excellent Service. The included breakfast is amazing. 5 stars all the way around. Parking is a challenge in the entire area, so if you rent a car, i recommend to drive to the hotel, unload tge bags and then park the car.
