Herdade dos Salgados Golf Course in Galé, Albufeira, Algarve
Its fair to state that the Salgados Course can be compared to most Links course as it is set on flat land behind a sandy beach. There are many water hazards and the open environmental nature has the added asset of the great Algarve climate. As it is very subject to the elements with little vegetation a considerable amount of technical skill in play is required to obtain a good round.

Driving Directions
Via Infante (A22) - Take Alcantarilha Exit-7 and at the roundabout which is the Road EN 125 bear to the left and head east down the hill to traffic lights. At these traffic lights bear to the right towards Armação de Pera. About 1 kilometer further on with a Petrol Station on the left you will a roundabout. Go around the roundabout and take the turning off to the left heading east. At the next roundabout keep driving towards Albufeira and after another 1.5 kilometers you will see a sign pointed to the right and the golf course.

The accommodation was in a great location in a gated community with lovely grounds and easy access to both beaches and Albufeira. A car was an asset to enjoy all the Algarve had to offer. The house is spacious and as an end unit we had only one neighbour and nobody above us.The host was very quick to respond to all enquiries. The furnishing and accessories were adequate for our needs but not outstanding in quality which is the only reason we rated as a 4 star

A very comfortable flat

This flat is very nice and comfortable. It was very clean and safe in the enclosed site. In the flat you find all what you need and you can spend relaxed holidays. It is possible to trip around the Algarve by car because the flat has a central position in the Algarve near Albufeira. The renters are very nice and helpfully people. I hope to stay there again and have also a great time.

Great appartment in quiet area

A well equiped appartment away from the crowds of albufeira. It has a big shared garden and nice pool. The beach (Castelo) is a 10 min walk away and is very beautiful. Praia Lourenco is also very nice. I wouldn't recommend it for families with a baby. Though the owner arranged a babybed and chair, we couldn't use the bed since there wasn't a mattress in it. The owner told us that was normal there is only a bottom in the bed. But the result was our son the whole week in between us in our own bed. All in all a nice place to relax and spend your holiday.

OK accomodation, poor facilites

Good size appartment but noisy building site opposite and noisy gardeners each week. Ant's nest kept us from enjoying the outside space. No internet, No English satellite channels to watch and unable to use the freezer being frozen solid.

Great location & apartment & very lovely people

First of all we want to thank Pedro & Cristina for the great stay at their apartment. We have been one week in July/August in the T1 apartment. Everything was very well organized, beginning by the first contact (e.g. always fast respond of emails from Pedro) until we have left from the location. Due to a problem with our car we delayed and Pedro was very patient and helpful from the first day on to us. The apartment was very nice and in a very well maintained location. Everything was like it was described before and the complete apartment was very clean and in good condition. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything a family needs. From the apartment there are several super markets nearby, even the beach is in walking distance. We have enjoyed the stay very much and we can fully recommend the stay at Pedro & Cristina's Baia Village apartments. We will come back for sure, it's just a matter of time. Thanks again for the great time.

Super Ferienhaus in guter Lage
