Studio Apartments in 3201-3239 was disgusting and never updated from 1970's when built. Furniture was old, curtains and linens frayed and faded. Bath rusty. We updated at extra expense to us to Apartment 2186 curtains and bedding torn and faded, blanket old and worn didnt look to clean but was dark blue so could not be sure. Cooker was old, beds creaked at every move

Atendimento lento demais no check um e check out, Moradias com cheiro, degradadas e sinais de falta de limpeza. Não tem Wi-Fi nem ar condicionado nas moradias, não tem nenhuma atenção de boas vindas no alojamento. Piscina com espreguiçadeira sempre ocupadas e é permitido fumar junto das piscinas, sendo que incomoda quem não fuma. Água quente nas moradias, acaba com muita rapidez. Pontos positivos são poucos, mas a proximidade à praia é uma grande vantagem. Não voltaremos...

Fantastic beach, with lovely views and cliff walks. Little by the way of restaurants next to the hotel. About a 10 minute walk away next to Victoria beach and sports centre there is a small shopping area with a choice of about 10 restaurants and a lovely coffee shop opening early about 7.30 am. Very relaxing holiday and you get what you pay for.

The property was very comfortable and clean.The towels were changed daily,and the staff very attentive and helpful.Anna the lady who looked after our apartment was extremely nice,she was always very helpful. The apartments had a few upgrades since last year.A clothes dryer in the balcony,and a nice table inside with a table cloth for dining inside.

Forget this place !

Do not sleep in this villas , they are a nightmare , they are in such a bad conditions that you will regret the minute you walk into any of them , if you want to have the idea of how people live in ghetto then be free to try this villas .

Disgusting state of room, rude and unhelpful staff

First off the condition of the room was terrible, the patio door was broken, and wouldn’t close never mind lock, the cooker was all rusted, there was blood on the pillow, there was mould on the bath. When I complained to the ignorant people on the desk, they refused to move me. I ended up spending another £400 on another hotel for the week. It was absolutely vile!

Disappointed as nothing like the picture plus took us forever to find as it comes under another hotel and they didn’t tell us or give directions especially as we were looking in the dark.

In serious need of a deep renovation

Location is great, but this place urgently needs a big renovation. Wifi works very badly in the hotel lobby and is nonexistent in the villas. The furniture (beds, couches, tables, everything) is very very old and uncomfortable. Location is great, but that is it.

All in all a very happy resort !

We were picked up by the shuttle bus and the driver was very friendly.All was to schedule ,we checked in to the hotel Alfamar and were welcomed by a lovely lady.We were not new to the routine as this was our third time.We made our way over to the apartments . The location is very good as there is a supermarket very close by . We had all the benefits of the hotel,the pool.the restaurant ,indoor pool,bars,not to mention the amount of comfortable sun beds ,in the lovely garden area and around the pool . The staff were very friendly ,I feel I would like to give Johnny who works in the bar a very special mention,he was extremely helpful at all times. Our visit overall was great ! We enjoyed this holiday and hope to return sometime in the future.

We booked our room n a Villa but they gave us A studio suite. Very disappointed. They promised to compensate for difference in cost. We should see a credit with Expedia. That suite was max single star rating

peaceful villa - well equipped and comfortable

We have stayed in the villas on a number of occasions and found them to be ideal, if somewhat rundown. Peaceful location, away from the cities.Car advisable, although there are local buses and tours and transfers available from hotel. Although a short distance away from the hotel, you have full use of the hotel facilities, including lovely pool, access to the beach, bar, cafe, and free wifi in the lobby. Facilities vary in the villas, ours included a full cooker and washing machine, but most don't. Request them if this is important to you. Stay well away from the studio blocks, unless you want a very cheap holiday. You get what you pay for.

Fantastic value for money

I visited this place three months ago and I miss it so much. I am already planing my trip back, heck, if I could convince my boss to let me work remotely I'd go live in one of these apartments. I was sceptical, but I was so pleased with my choice but notice this is rent for an apartment, so don't be fooled, you are not getting the big houses. The room was simple, in need of updating, but the price is too good and I believe it is compatible with what is been offered. My biggest problem was the noisy fridge, but there is a door separating the kitchen from the bedroom and that solved the problem. Besides I had two fridges so I had also the option of switching off the noisy one.

Tired dated hotel close to a beautiful clean beach

I have been coming here yearly for the last eight or nine years. I usually stay in these Garden villas but this is the most dated and unmodernised one I have stayed in yet. Serviced daily but Sunday.
