Villa Vergara is situated in a cliff-top tourist resort, Cala’n Porter, on the south coast of the island and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. The town has everything within walking distance, with a variety of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops. The wonderful beach with crystal clear waters can be accessed via road or steps and offers two beach bars serving local tapas and beverages. Other south coast beaches (Binibeca, Punta Prima, Binisafúa, Son Bou) can be reached within 15 minutes by car, and the capital town Mahon is also only a 10 minute drive away. Car hire is available from the resort and a daily bus service runs between Cala'n Porter and Mahon.

The garden area has a spacious terrace surrounding the kidney-shaped swimming pool. There is an area with an artificial lawn furnished with loungers for relaxing in the sun, and a covered porch furnished with table and chairs for al fresco dining. The villa also has a stone barbecue.

The property been tastefully decorated and is well equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. All rooms are distributed on the ground floor.

Great stay

Nice villa about a 5 minute walk from the centre of Cala en Porter. As seems to be common with lots of villas in the area, the patio and pool are at the front of the property but well screened from the road. Great communication with Gurbia - the property manager - she sorted out extra sunbeds, luggage collection and taxi to the airport.

Had a lovely holiday in this beautiful villa, everything in the villa was spotless and well maintained. Gurbia was the perfect host and she was so quick to respond to any enquiries. All in all it was a perfect holiday and would recommend the villa and Gurbia to friends and family. .

Nice villa with a great pool. Bit of a drainy smell in main bathroom but en-suite ok. Disappointing not too be able to use barbecue due to grill being caked with grease from previous use.

Great location for families.

We stayed here as 2 families, 4 adults and 2 kids. When we arrived the villa was clean (with the exception of the bbq which we never needed) , but in need of some tlc, perhaps in part due to it being the end of the season. We also needed to buy air freshener due to the smell in the main bathroom from the drain, it was pretty bad at times! There are definate plus points though, our 2 families had plenty of space without getting under each others feet,, and there was much fun had in the pool, by the kids and adults too! The villa is in a great location, close enough for easy walking access to all the facilities of cala n porter, but set back enough so you aren't too disturbed by the hustle and bustle. Gurbia at the villa company was brilliant with communication, and we found her very helpful and quick to respond to messages. Overall, despite a couple of negatives, we enjoyed our stay.
