Arrived having driven all day, tired and grumpy! Wonderful receptionist, made us feel special and helped us with where to have dinner! Really good breakfast, sets you up for the day! Really comfortable beds, not far to walk, what more can I say. Am staying here on the way back to our home in France, after we have holidayed in Portugal!

This Holiday Inn Express really fulfilled all my needs and comforts. We had an amazing check-in by a very professional receptionist who made us feel at home. I was also so happy to speak a little bit of Euskara to her :-) Our room overlooked the old village of Jundiz (I am not sure of the name) with a very nice church and few traditional Basque houses. Even if it is located in an Industrial park, there is a direct bus to the city centre. We had dinner in the restaurant just in front of the hotel (it has nothing to do with the hotel): just avoid it. We were treated so badly and food was awful. I would definitely recommend it for all above said and for IHG standards

Holiday Inn chain typical, comfortable and spacious rooms. Very silent, even though near a major highway. Choose a east side room and you have chance to witness a beatiful sunrise. The room I was given had cigarrettes smell. No problem to access downtown only if you are traveling by car.

Room large spacious brand new furniture and decor.Bed so comfortable . Bathroom perfect.Large bath great shower lots of towels and towel rails. Plenty car parking.Trolleys for luggage. Breakfast excellent.Continental style. Great value for money. Staff English speaking.Manager stayed up and waited for our arrival at midnight as ferry was three hours late which meant we were late in arriving.Very helpful nothing too much trouble after a stressful day. Excellent location for motorway .

The hotel is located not far from the freeway. Very nice welcome. Room ok. Hygiene could be a little bit better: hairs and dust found in our room. No noice as the hotel is located out of the city. Free parking space in front of the hotel. Breakfast ok but a little bit more choice would make it perfect.

Located a bit on the outskirts of town. Located close to a restaurant. Check in was quick and efficient. We got a room on the ground floor. The room was big. For pillows one has 2 options (hard and soft) found that interesting.

We stayed here for our last night in Spain so we could be close to the airport. The hotel was easy to find - the gates seemed to open automatically. The room was spacious and clean - we had plenty of space to spread out and repack for the trip home. Breakfast was nothing special, but easy, fresh and adequate.Laura at the desk was very helpful! Our only minor complaint was that the WiFi was poor. The hotel was an easy drive to the airport.

Stayed here for a night to visit Vitoria. The hotel was modern and everything you would expect from a holiday inn express. Breakfast was good but basic but considering it was included in the cost of the night's stay it was good value. It is on an industrial estate on the far edge of town though with nothing else around.

The reservation and check in were as they should be, accept apparently you have to write in the comments explicitly if you want a non-smoking room. The carpet in the hotel looks very dirty and outdated, the kettle in the room was also dirty and the toilet kept running after flushing it. To have said that, the bathroom was clean and the room was spacious, but definitely not sound proof! About the breakfast: you could choose from old bread and dry cheese, cereal with a bunch of sugar, overly sweet and sticky croissants and absolutely no fresh fruit whatsoever. How much does it cost on money and effort to put a bowl of apples or something at breakfast? Even though I knew it's a Holiday Inn Express, I feel that I have wasted my money on this excuse of a hotel. Even for 1 night I feel heavily ripped off. Because the hotel is close to the highway, I score it a two out of five.

Driving to the south of Spain from the UK Vitoria is an ideal overnight stop and the Holiday Inn Express is an ideal hotel to stop at. Easy to find, no parking problems and a very good room quality combined with always helpful staff, this has become a regular stop. The only weakness is the lack of a Hotel restaurant in the evening, but a very short walk away is an interesting cafe that is open until late. In all a very comfortable and stress free overnight stop
