Good location in town, safe area. Hotel was clean, front desk staff was great initially but when I called to complain about the WIFI not working they were a little short on the phone. I was told they would try to reset the modem and if that didn't work I would kind of be "out of luck".
I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable our stay was in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were tasty, the pool was spacious and not over chlorinated. The beds were a little too soft but the rooms were very clean. The Hotel is only 15 minutes from White Sands national ...
This place is like a well put together museum and the hosts are just lovely people, generous and helpful. The breakfast was nicely done with plenty of well prepared food and they even made my husband a separate dish due to his dietary needs. Our room was aesthetically lovely and had a nice comfy King but it was very tiny and there was no place to hang anything including your towel. The towels were teensy more like face than bath towels and that would really be my main compliant. It was quiet even though rooms are right in a row and the use of the seating area downstairs was great! The bathroom did not have a working fan so the towels were wet from the shower and the shower was very low so if you are tall do not stay in Kurt’s Room I peeked into a few other rooms and they looked more spacious and decor was lovely with attention to details. Good one or two night stop.
The place was dirty, lobby smelled of cigarette smoke. Hot tub broken, not enough lighting at the pool, just not a good place to stay at.
This is a 1970"s style motel but don't be mislead by the look. The rooms are very well maintained and extremely clean. The beds are comfortable. There is a very good Chinese restaurant within walking distance.
I just needed a place to sleep, shower, and geat ready to hit the road early the next day. And for a low price, I got all of this. I was pleased, thanks motel 6.
