- Nice location. Close to most location I plan to visit. - Efficient check in and check out process. - Deluxe rooms are the best. Specious and affordable. - Good room service menu. - Good restaurant . - Very good service in general (HK - laundry- etc) - Service in the new tower is less impressive than the old one. - High Room quality and equipment.
Staff is very friendly and welcoming - you feel that you are center of their service all the time. A special shout out to Hesham Jadaan - really smooth communication skills. Keep up the great work....
Great rooms, helpful staff, good pool/gym/sauna, pleasant lounge, energetic atmosphere to the restaurant. They will send cars to pick you up from Bahrain airport over the causeway if you're flying in that way. Makes a stay in Al Khobar pleasant!
I highly recommend this hotel. Yes it is at the upper range of the price bracket but the hotel is simply superb. The service is fantastic warm and friendly. The rooms are large and luxurious. The dinner and breakfast buffets have to be seen to be believed. The InterContinental Al Khobar is my favourite hotel in the Middle East region.
The staff were so accomodating when I entered the hotel. The rooms and the facility areas are squeaky clean and decent. In particular I fell inlove with the coffee shop on the ground floor because it looks so modern and new just check out my photo below. Over all, this hotel is good for bussiness meeting , chilling at the coffee shop and dine in with friends.
This is a great location in North Al Khobar, a quiet and comfortable atmosphere, and its staff are distinctive, pleasant and quiet. The hotel is very clean and worth a visit Fantastic restaurants within the hotel and member club services and ensure proper upgrade
I have been to this hotel a few times in recent months, and will be returning when I am in the area. The staff are very helpful, the food is good and the rooms are well set up for working from. The gym is a bit small but well equipped, and the pricing is very competitive with the other international standard hotels in the area.
I stayed in Al khobar intercontinental hotel during my recent business trip. This hotel was recommended by one of my friend, who stayed in this hotel in past, being it is located very close to my office. I landed at Dammam airport, Hotel Driver was waiting for me and in 2 minutes I was in car. Driver offered me cold water, being Damma was too hot and humid during this time of year, so everything was just as expected. Checkin was very smooth. Mr. Sabir at reception received me well and quickly processed my booking. He also suggested me to move to Ambassador program which will offer me the room upgrade plus more benefits during my future stay in Intercontinental brand of hotels. Being I used to stay more in Hyatt hotels and I am gold member of Taj hotels, so I thought it might be of not much of use to me so I avoid at first. Being their standard rooms are located in another tower just opposite to the main tower, so the boy took me their. Somehow bathroom looks to be really in bit shabby state so I came back and subscribed to their Ambassador program which automatically provided me an upgrade to a deluxe room plus other benefits. Sabir managed managed it really quick and helped me with the luggage movement to the new building. In all I must say that standard room was also not bad but they really need to work on their bathroom in standard rooms. Anyhow, the deluxe room was really nice with good living space. Bedroom was nicely prepared (same like it was in standard room) and bathroom was full of required amenities i.e. Shaving kit, tooth paste & brush and complementary daily hygienic kit. I am not sure if these things were part of standard room or not. Fruit basket was also one of the benefit of moving to deluxe room with Ambassador program. Bathroom sleepers was also present with bathrobe but I am not sure if they were part of standard room or not. Toiletries, as expected, all were of very good quality. In all, room was well maintained on daily basis so no complaint on that side. Being enrolled to Ambassador program, so water bottles were also not a problem. You can ask as much as you want. Iron board, newspaper (english or Arabic as per your choice), study table, office space, in all everything was in place whatever you need when you were on business trip. Breakfast was included in my package but somehow, I was never able to enjoyed it. Being vegetarian, I did not have much options and moreover, being a late riser, I was always in hurry so it was more of my issue. Just one complaint on the serving side, one day during breakfast I asked for Sambhar ( an Indian curry, made up of lentil / vegetable and always served hot with Dosa) and the guy, seems to be hurry, served me damn cold Sambhar. I was not sure what made him to do this mistake but I think they could manage it better. I hope this was not the normal practice and happened just by chance. The only limitation, I felt, in this hotel was no bathtubs even in deluxe room. It seems bathtubs are only available in Suites. Anyhow, it was really a nice experience to stay in this hotel and I must stay here during my next visit.
Stayed only for one night for business meetings. The check-in was smooth. The hotel staff was really helpful and professional. The room was great. Tried the breakfast and the buffet was lavish. Free Wi-Fi was included as well. Very recommended hotel with great service.
I stayed at this hotel a number of times and always found the service to be polite and professional. The rooms are clean and provide decent space. The location is central and very convenient. Overall I would recommend the hotel as a good option.
