My family and I stayed here, we occupied two villas and they were great, the rooms were clean and amenities were awesome. The view was breathtaking both the sunrise and sunset and the facilities were well kept. Everyone were so nice and always say hello but not hovering. The staff were all friendly and professional shout out to Leo and front desk Merriam! We wish we know this place before since this was our third visit to the island and will definitely will come this way again. The service van was good and very accommodating we just wish there was a way for them to pick guests past 11pm since we wanted to go out in station 1 but had to rush for the last pickup and wish we could have a later pick or at least an option and we would be willing to pay extra. It was great for my sons since this was their first visit. Love everything about it! keep up the good job and continue to have great service!
I just finished my third vacation at the Monaco Suites. The location and views are spectacular. The rooms have wonderful views and all staff members are so kind and accommodating. I especially appreciate the kindness of the restaurant staff members and especially the wonderful smile Myra has on her face. I miss the facility and especially the kindness of Myra.
There were pros and cons to this hotel. I want to give it a very good rating for some aspects but had to settle for average due to the fact that we work in the hospitality sector. Pros: quiet location, clean rooms and Clean facilities. The grounds were immaculate and well groomed. The transport into town was great as well! ** there is a trainee named Abigail that was VERY sweet and nice and really made a good impression on us. She will be great at her job as she progresses. *** the staff over all are very friendly and aim to please. This review is purely for professional feedback. Cons: 1) non existant pool service, there didn't seem to be a designated pool person therefore there weren't fresh towels on a single one of our days here. We had to chase towels down every day and ended Up using room towels on a couple occasions. 2) while the staff are SUPER nice they were a little awkward as well. Really hesitant when serving and lingered at times without any purpose and made us feel a little uncomfortable. They want to please but don't understand the concept of quick and smooth service. They also don't anticipate which left us constantly having to ask for things over and over again. Perhaps they don't understand non Asian guest service. You can see that they are working on training the staff so we do understand the struggle. 3) food: very average. I Would stick to going to town for average food there. You might get lucky a few times and score a decent pizza. But overall the food is not great. The menu lacks understanding and execution. As long as you understand that borocay is just over run by tourists and lacks the proper man power to provide western standard service then you will enjoy this hotel for the cleanliness and relaxing location and the island for its beautiful beaches.
Me and my brother stayed here for 3 days and they were the best days we spent on our vacation traveling throughout several islands. The staff were so courteous, accommodating and friendly. Highlight was Leovar who went well beyond his duty to ensure we had everything we need and more. He really is an asset. The suites are beautiful as well as the view. We did not want to leave and definitely will be back. A must stay in El Nido!
Had a great time at Monaco. Everyone was very nice. Be sure to explore while the tide is low. The only downside was the amount of stair climbing we had to do. Hard for grandma to get to the restaurant and pool area.
I had a really bad experience in this hotel I booked this hotel because of there reviews I booked a prisidential suite they gave as a suite with 3 bedroom and since presidential is a 2 bedroom they lock the other room ! They didn't inform me all this inconvenience , because they think I don't know what I'm booking for , example if you check in a hotel and if they don't have a king size they only have king and queen size they will not take one bed cause this is what you booked for they will let you know and let you have the room ,does it make sense ? ! the staff there all B MACKIE Morales the front desk is one of them and the guy name Jeff when we check out we ask for assistance for our luggage he said with an attitude you guys bring some of your stuff cause I'm alone I can't handle everything ! Don't ever booked this Monaco suites de boracay do yourself a favor just book right in the station 2 Le soliel is nice too I transfer there and there ambassador suite is really nice ! The beach so clean Monaco beach so dirty and it's so far from D mall !
Overall, we were impressed by the hotel. We stayed in a giant apartment with one bedroom, bathroom, living room and a small kitchenette. For families with children, it is great to have the opportunity to cook milk or snacks for children. The view from the room to the ocean cuts your breath every time and I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets in my life. At the exit of the hotel, the landscape changes. Many poor people, barracks and improvised houses.
On behalf of my family, we would like to thank the entire staff for this truly amazing holiday we had with the hotel. From start to finish, the staff had been very accommodating, courteous, calm and they never fail to smile! With special mention to Zee for unexpected hotel room upgrade, William and the entire restaurant team, Manong Dave and the shuttle service staff and Paul, one of the hotel domestic room service. These people work extremely hard and we can't fault them. In some places, it may be extremely frustrating to resolve some issues but the key is clear and thorough communication without being rude and unpleasant. We are looking forward coming back to this hotel and hopefully soon! We are very grateful. Maraming salamat po.
Monaco Suites, was an excellent resort. Room, and balcony was almost 1,000 sq. ft. Place was exquisite, staff was very friendly, and helpful. Food was excellent, pool was wonderful. Close to town, and several beaches..
My wife and I had a WONDERFUL five- night stay! We work very hard and needed some serious R&R. We didn't want the crowds and hustle and bustle that is found on the other side of Boracay. The beautiful views from the European style villas were exactly what we wanted. I sat out on the spacious balcony each morning, read, had a cup of tea, listen to the surf and waited for the sun to rise. Perfect! The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and after five days, we had almost become like family and were a bit sad to leave. I even got a picture of the restaurant staff on our last morning, and they got their phones out and took a few group pics of us as well. In addition the architecture and setting are absolutely gorgeous! Many afternoons we just relaxed by or in the the pool and sipped on drinks, read, napped, and just let the day slip away. After 8 months our crazy busy schedules, it was exactly what we needed. It was never crowded, and we often felt like we had our own private estate. The one drawback is the beach. It allows you access to the ocean, and at low tide, if you are adventurous, you can do some exploring of the tide pools as you walk along the coastline. But if you want wide, white, sandy beaches, with all the activities that go along with them, you need to travel a bit to other parts of the island. My wife and I travel a lot and have vacationed in many parts of the globe, yet we feel that our vacation at Boracay and Monaco Suites was one of our best!
