Best Western Boracay Tropics3.5 out of 5.0

The Best Western has managed to retain its authenticity by keeping a low profile and preserving the beautiful garden full of trees. Considering that Boracay is already flooded by the mass tourism, and the hotels have compromised its quality by decreasing the room space, I have to take off a hat to this establishment and give them a high five for sticking to its philosophy. I would give it 5/5 for the room quality and comfort. unfortunately, the breakfast is below average considering the hotel rating.Hence 4/5 star.
Excellent accommodation from staff to their rooms. They really made our stay very comfortable. The resort's ambience makes you feel you are in another place... a paradise within the bustling and busy boracay island. Must-see and must-experience!
This was my second stay in Boracay Tropics, and everytime its been a wonderful experience. From the stress free service of being picked up from the airport and ferry. To the great rooms and service. Our room was always cleaned meticulously and the amenities were great. Nothing more relaxing than walking out of our room and going for a swim in their pool. Or having a short walk to what Boracay has to offer. But one of the major highlights was the staff, they were friendly, professional and helpful at all times. The reason i'm writing this review is to show an example of how above and beyond one of their staff has helped us. During the last phase of our stay, we needed to use the ferry back to the airport. But strong winds and rough seas delayed everyone. There was a line of over 100+ people waiting to board, with no hope insight and we were sure that we would definitely miss our flight. One of their staff, John our porter, walked around and called in favors with some locals and was able to squeeze us into the last ferry leaving the dock. We would have never made our flight without him. Most porters, would have told us to wait and just bad luck that we missed our flight, but he went above and beyond. Thanks Boracay Tropics. You've always been great, and will always been our first choice to stay.
I have been observing their hospitality towards their guests and I am very disappointed towards us. They were biased. But for Koreans and maybe other nationalities they seemed to throw all out their best to attend right away to their needs including carrying their luggages to that extend. It gave negative impression on how they answer your questions. Instead of “ No, better to say I apologize but I will see to it that the issue will be resolved right away.” I know for a fact that Aklanons are very nice, kind and hospitable people but I believe the front desk personnel are not from Aklan which is a disgrace!
At check in time they gave us room by the main road which was noisy. The road has a lot of noise from the tricycles’ horn. After my intense complains they change our room and everything was fine. Service was good, cleanness of the facility is not perfect. The room itself is spacious but the furnishings need a refreshment. Breakfast is good
This hotel resort is a perfect place to stay with barkada's, family. There a pool inside the hotel, plus the food is nice. I really the buffet breakfast. there a lot of choices like pasta, salad, bread, dessert, juice and fruit, and many more.
We stayed in the Superior room for 3D/2N. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We were provided with welcome drinks which were delivered to our room. I believe it was the Cucumber slush and it was very refreshing. Buffet breakfast had an adequate spread. The fruit shakes are made to order (separate charge). I had mango shake and it was divine. The pool was small but never crowded. Despite close proximity to the main road, it was never noisy. Wi-Fi connection was intermittent but it was not a bother. There's plenty of other things to do anyway. All of the staff we had encountered were very courteous and helpful. We had a lovely stay and will definitely stay here again when we come back.
Hotel Best Western Boracay Tropics ..He is hugs and quit...I find myself on the island of Boracay on Philippines..Lies at the precious of the way of the main with a less than which goes to the beach.Better ,average class, with a small poll..And breakfast but I will be internet..In the middle of buidings and bungalows a small, nice garden...Nice I polite service..Clean and cozy..Close to shops ,restaurants and the beautiful beach is obout 500 merters.....I recommend,,
Retrain your staff to be more friendly, caring and accommodating. It seems to me that this property care about revenue more than providing customer service. You care about getting money from your guests rather than making them happy and satisfied! Although, I would like to commend a couple of HK staff who were friendly and helpful when I asked about the e-mall. Other than that, Front Office and Breakfast people needs to hone their customer service skills. I love Best Western Hotels but this is the worst I've stayed. I stayed in Makati, Subic, Calgary, Airdie, Edmonton, Niagara Falls, Radium, etc... I've been to lots but you guys are really the most awful Best Western I've stayed at. So sorry for writing this bad feedback and I know how this would affect your rating, but please do something about your CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank you!
This was our first trip to Boracay with a family of 5 (kids 3, 6, and 9). This resort offered good value and a central location. We stayed in the 'dormitory room'. Which is a lot better than it sounds. It featured 3 bunk beds and was very spacious. It is often difficult to find hotel rooms for 5 pax so this was perfect for us. +room was clean, spacious, albeit a bit aged. +breakfast was basic but generally good +pool was small, but new (recommend the pool in the morning as the beach was better in the afternoon) +convenient - 5 minutes to beach (station 2), 5 minutes to d'talapia market +close to ferry terminal +boutique and quiet +service was very friendly and efficient Note that Dormitory Rooms do not have much of a view from the balcony. Also be sure to request blankets for the beds as they were not there when we checked in.
