I stayed at the Bellevue all 3 visits to Boppard. The last visit was in September. Again I was not dissapointed. Staff, from front desk, restauraunt and housekeeping were all wonderful. Located on the Rhine the views are spectacular. The hotel is located for easy access to other Rhine and Mosel areas and historic sites. The best tourist shop in about 2 blocks West of the hotel. I'll stay there again my 4th trip to Germany and Boppard.
Stayed here for 2 nights a nice clean hotel. A bit on the ancient type but quaint. Bedrooms are nice and kitted out with all the basic amenities. A plus point for providing kettle for tea & coffee machine. A criticism that the bathrooms ONLY HAVE BATHTUBS no separate shower units. We were 2 couples in our 60-70s hence getting in & out of these huge tubs was not very safe. Please look into it. Besides that the breakfast was good . Staff was very pleasant. Restaurant was good as well. Very centrally located on the promenade 2-3 mins walk to the old town,5 mins walk to the station .
I had a very pleasant stay, as the hotel staff was very helpful, room was clean and big, breakfast was diverse enough. Also the mix of classical and modern style was well done. I have also received a free upgrade to a better room. And the view towards Rhine river was wonderful.
We took a coach group for there holiday and the highlight of the trip was the Rhine Festival Lights where we board our ship and cruise upstream sailing past numerous castles on the river Rhine at the front of st Goar and st Goarshausen and the medieval castles were all beautifully illuminated light rings spreading across the river Rhine and Four firework displays at the Castle Katz with traditional music onboard and a dj on the upper deck with 60’s 70’s 80’s music with a meal onboard and drinks till we return to Boppard at about 11;30pm was a little long winded for some of my passengers. The Hotel Bellevue is what it says in the brochure(superior) had 4 lovely nights, breakfast is excellent!!! WiFi throughout. Great pool and spa,,,, But no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms so that didn’t go down to well with our passengers, even though was stated in there holiday brochure. When asked st reception they stopped the service January this year. Staff all very helpful rooms most have river view.,.. opposite hotel you can book a cruise to Koblenz fantastic with drinks and restaurant onboard fully licensed Reudinstein is there like Irish coffee lovely must try... had a lovely scenic drive through the twist and turns of the Moselle as we make our way to Trier yesterday being Sunday not much was opened no markets was disappointing, but the sightseeing was good Porta Nigra,, Bascilia imperial baths and the cathedral and there land train was all very pleasant..,
A superbly comfortable hotel in a fantastic location, with great views over the river Rhine this hotel has beautiful balcony rooms and benefits from extremely good and friendly staff a really super place to stay.
Pretty good. A bit tired but overall it was fine. I suspect that most of the hotels in the area had that dated old world charm about them. The staff were very helpful and Boppard was a good place to be based to explore the region.
We stayed here for 4 days with 2 other couples. The staff were brilliant and they were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and we had a balcony overlooking the Rhein. Everything was spotlessly clean. There were beautiful paintings and antiques throughout the hotel.
This hotel was excellent, the staff were polite & helpful, the interior was clean (art nouveau style) although the bar area was rather small and not always staffed. the food was ok but the "English breakfast" consisted only of eggs, thin tasteless bacon & sausages. very good continental breakfast though with lots of pastries, yoghourt, meats, bread etc. we were advised by a member of the hotel staff to buy bottled water (£2-£3 a bottle) and avoid the tap water? Germany is very nice, the people are friendly and the cakes & gateaux are to die for. food & drinks (excluding water) are not expensive but clothing & tourist souvenirs are. the views are excellent as this hotel is on the banks of the river Rhine. nice walks too and if you are inclined I suggest a trip up the chair lift to get that famous Rhine river bend view. excellent restaurant at the top.
Spent a very pleasant, albeit rainy week here. Lovely family run hotel, comfortable, spacious refurbished rooms. Great location 20 metres from the river bank. Excellent Breakfast. Ate dinner each night at hotel. Good friendly service/
We stayed at the Bellevue with Shearings for three nights in August 2017. We found the room to be spacious, clean and quiet. The staff were brilliant, the food was excellent and the wine tasting an extra touch. The hotel is positioned in the centre of Boppard on the front of the river. This is a brilliant hotel to stay at and would highly recommend it.
