No complaints at all. Very good hotel at reasonable rates. Especially the food was of high quality.
Pleasant stay at a very good hotel, nice room, quality food en beverage, nice accommadations, beautiful scenery,
Chose hotel for location and price, and you get what you pay for. Hotel needs a re-fit. Old fashioned rooms and public areas, but clean and comfortable. If you want a budget hotel then it's ok. Staff pleasant. Free parking.
The hotel is trapped in the 80s, it seems like no renovation has been done there since. The rooms are small and old, theres is a good restaurant in the 15th floor, but mot open daily. However, the rates are good value for money and the staff compensates with good service and all round smiles. Location is ok, but you have to make sure you have a car as it is a good 3 kms from all civilization
We expected a Wyndham hotel and restaurant to be of a higher standard. The restaurant Tamarillo was quite bad. The service was severely lacking. Bread plate and knife but never bread. Candles butt not lit at our table. No offer of desert of coffee. The rooms are so small you have to go outside to change your mind. And the whole place is tired. Cracks in sinks. Finishes past their prime. We would never come back or recommend it.
It really feels a bit like the grand budapest hotel. It once was a great hotel I guess, but now it's very out dated. The staff is friendly but thats it. The double beds are two singles next to each other. No minibar in the room, no wine coolers (shame because the view would go great with a cold riesling wine on the balcony). A lift to the rooms that have seen better days. The garden was broken up, the meal we had included in our arrangement looked so bad that we decided to go out for dinner. The breakfast was nothing special. And the sauna's they worked but we expected a bit more. The hotel is beter advertised than it is in real life... to bad because it's in a wonderful location.
Hotel doesn,t meet the expectations. The whole looks very dated, as if you were in the DDR. Rooms are clean, but showed considerable wear. Staff was friendly though. The buffet on the second was tasty.
Rooms are oké, amazing view, but facilities and food (diner and breakfast) were not good. We were told to have 3 course diner, but got a cold buffet instead.
The hotel is located on top of a hill, and is equipped with a panoramic restaurant with a spectacular view. The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are unspectacular: functional and clean, but small and showing signs of aging (cracks in the sink and in the plaster on the balcony). Dinner and breakfast buffets were decent but unremarkable. Parking space was abundant, and a local bus stops at the hotel every hour. The garden looks like it would have been beautiful many years ago, but is currently in dire need of restoration. The adjacent ruin of a former spa/pool building is another reminder of glory days long gone. Walking paths in the surrounding hills are available, but should presumable be enjoyed in either the spring (full bloom) or the early fall (rich colours). In late February, everything looked rather brown, messy and sombre.
A good hotel, a little far from the village (if you would go on foot). In winter there is not much to do, but it is a good starting point for car trips in the region. Rooms are OK, but the bed (in my case) was so and so.
