It is an excellent property. I have stayed there for a single night, but I was happy with the stay. There was some issue with in-room food service, but apart from that, everything was good. If you enjoy old-style property, this is worth trying.
Nice hotel and service. As I came from Australia I was bit confused but front office team was awesome and manager Mr Chandarana helped me get auto tour and map of city. Amazing heritage city parts I have been to. Will go again in future..
The feel of the hotel is heritage without a doubt feels lovely when you enter in. However the rooms are a bit smelly and moist without the Aircon. The bathrooms are very old even in the Grand Heritage category and bathroom supplements are given, the ones in the bottle are old and you wouldn't want to use it. The customer service team still has old chit system to update comments on the stay. The breakfast options are extremely limited and the quality is not upto the mark. The balcony space is very old and sad. Overall an okay stay but will not go there again.
Very unique experience, nice ambience and awesome service. The team is very helpful and supporting, a manager named Badal was very cooperative. He suggested us to try their lunch thali and on his recommendation, we also invited our business delegates there and food was so delicious. Highly recommended and must-visit place of Ahmedabad.
We went here for dinner, hosted by Indian colleagues. The food and surroundings are both stunning, and I would visit again. Attentive service and authentic Gujarati cuisine, this is a fabulous venue in Ahmedabad. The bookshop and textile outlets are well worth looking at after dinner.
go and stay and feel like a king. room sizes are big and so is the heart of the people there. food is awesome and so is the location. saw the pictures on MMT and fell in love with the property. the real thing did not disappoint at all
If they would only clean the house better, serve better food and try to keep the noise out it would be my favorit in Gujarat. Unfortunately they just do nothing at all to raise their standards. The rooms are large (at least in the old tract), but neglected, dusty and smelly, the bathrooms need maintenance and the rooftop restaurant is horror. Not only the food but the attitude of the staff. I stayed 2018 for three nights and this time only one night to see if it had improved. It had not, so if you are fussy about dust and dirt, do not stay here. It still has a lot of atmosphere and you are right in the middle of the historic city, so that is a plus. But do not fall for their saing that the rooftop restaurant serves the best food in Ahmedabad. Because if that is true, then I do not want to experience the worse food in that city!
Beautiful room, very helpful and friendly staff. Had very good breakfasts at the Green House and ate at Agashiye - food was lovely but it felt a bit rushed, almost fast food speed. But loved this place overall.
Team hotel : you must be careful about the cleanliness of your establishment because the condition of the rooms did not allow for healthy accommodation. As well, the staff did not have the appropriate attitude but displayed an insulting casualness. Customers : really check cleanliness before taking the room.
It is a 250,year old bungalow converted into heritage hotel, with lot of passion and foresight, Really enjoyed their special meal on the rooftop , though felt little overpriced, don't forget to take night walk arranged by travel desk to see havelis and history behind that
