The team at House of MG go beyond expectations, ensuring every element of your stay is absolute perfection. By far the best service of any hotel we have stayed at. The property is carefully curated, capturing the heritage of the property and local cultural heritage. Food at the property is second to none, as is the dining service. Staff ensure personal attention is made for all patrons and will especially cater for childrens needs too. As a Heritage hotel it was fairly unique but it was not kept as it should have been. Housekeeping was appalling, bathroom was not cleaned properly, towels were more grey than white. Breakfast was very slow, 7am apparently, but nothing was ready, cooked food still not available by 7.30 at times. Not much to choose from either and staff were quite slow. Food was okay, nothing exciting. We would not stay here again if we found ourselves back in Ahmedabad, Gujerat.
