This is a difficult review as we did not stay in this property. The owner contacted us a day or two before our arrival and said that he had an issue with this property, but he had space that we could stay in at a B and B that he owned. We agreed to do so. The owner was apologetic for the change and very responsive to our questions. The B and B was very nice. Good location. Quiet. Well stocked kitchen and refrigerator. Comfortable bed and nice ensuite bathroom. If you like B and B's, this is worth looking at. We don't really care for B and B's though. We like apartments or homes, where when we get back from a day of sightseeing we can lounge around on a couch and relax. That is not really the atmosphere in this unit. If I recall, the bedroom had one chair and the bed. There was no where to lounge in the common (kitchen) area. So, while this turned out to be an unfortunate set of circumstances, the host could not have been more responsive and accomodating, and the unit itself was very nice.

A Beautiful, Spacious Apartment with Private Courtyard!

Firstly, special thanks go to Gianfranco for taking time to help us find the apartment because the City of Agrigento in its infinite wisdom chose to close a primary access street (Viale della Vittoria) for construction (hence, the 4 stars for location). Since navigating to the apartment became a challenge because of the construction, Gianfranco – on his moto - had to weave us around a number of one-way streets near city center. In fact, we suggest checking in well before sundown to make sure you don’t get lost. Once we checked-in, we were very impressed with the ground-floor apartment with a really nice and secured courtyard in front. The apartment was clean and very tastefully decorated with high ceilings and plenty of room. There’s plenty of space in the bathroom which was a treat. While parking is available and free, Via Picone narrows to the width of one car as you approach the apartment. To stroll Agrigento’s main street (Via Atnea), there’s no need to drive as the walk from the apartment is only 10-minutes (0.5km). To visit the Archeological Museum and Valley of Gods Temples, you’ll need a car as both are about 4km away from this hilltop apartment.

Minutes away from 2500years of history and minutes from charming vibrant dinning options

Easy to access the Valley of the Temples and easy to drive in and out of town... Our host gave great directions to attractions... An easy drive with evening dinner options an easy walk.. We only stayed one night but could have/should have stayed longer. We Really enjoyed the apartment.

Netter Aufenthalt

Nachdem das ursprünglich genuchte Apartment wegen renovierungsarbeiten nicht verfügbar war wurden wir vom Vermiter persönlich angeschrieben und in ein anderes, gleichwertiges Apartment umgebucht. Super kommunikation und alles reibungslos verlaufen. Die Tempel sind 5-10 Autominuten entfern. Restaurants sind auch in der fußläufig erreichbaren Umgebung. Die Küche hätte etwas besser ausgestattet sein können, im großen und ganzen war aber alles da. Eine mette überraschung war der bereits etwas kostelos befüllte Kühlschrank. Durchaus zu empfehlen für 1-2 Tage um die Tempel zu besichtigen

Acqua fresca con qualche confusione

Una casa spaziosa (nelle foto pare più piccola), pulita, ordinata, fresca (pur essendo in un periodo di caldo intenso non abbiamo acceso il condizionatore), ristrutturata con scelte architettoniche; forse troppo piena di soprammobili delicati che abbiamo accuratamente spostato (occhio ai bimbi!). Abbiamo trovato il frigo pieno di acqua, yogurt, latte e brioche. Chi affitta è simpatico ma confusionario: doveva portarci la chiave wifi, le saponette... la tassa di soggiorno chiesta all'ultimo... non ci ha indicato dove trovare lo stendino... Ma disponibile, educato e simpatico. Lo raccomandiamo.

Emplacement agréable

Emplacement légèrement à l'écart du centre,au calme. La location est propre et fonctionnelle ,aménagée avec goût. Le deuxième couchage est dans le salon mais le canapé est confortable et rapide à mettre en place.Les explications de gianfranco sont claires et adaptées.

Sehr schöne sizilianische Wohnung Nähe Tempel

Wir fanden eine sehr schöne, neu eingerichtete, sizilianische Wohnung vor. Ausstattung zum Kochen weitesgehend alles vorhanden. Auch ein kleiner Außenbereich mit Loungemöbeln vor der Tür. Wohnung in einer Sackgasse mit wenig Parkmöglichkeiten. Hatten aber Glück immer einen zu erwischen. Tal der Tempel zu Fuß nicht erlaufbar, mit dem Auto keine 10min. Ein Geschäft ca.5-10min. Vermieter freundlich. Tal der Tempel absolut sehenswert, ebenso Scala dei turchi. Sollte man auch besucht haben wenn man in Agrigent ist. Nur ca 16km entfernt.

Eine schön und modern eingerichtete Wohnung mit großer Wohnküche und Bad und großem Bett hat uns erwartet. Eine eigene ummauerte Terasse mit Sitzgelegenheiten und XL Sonnenschirm lud zum verweilen ein. Der checkin und checkout war problemlos. Die Stadtmitte ist zu Fuss in ca 10 bis 15 min erreichbar. Leider gibt es keinen Parkplatz an der Wohnung selbst mit einem Kleinstwagen ist es schwer einen Platz zu finden. Von der Strasse aus ist das Meer zu sehen. Eine Waschmaschine wäre wünschenswert. Auch könnten einige Schrauben im Bad und am Sonnenschirm nachgezogen bzw ersetzt werden. Ein besonderer Dank an die Vermieterin für das besorgen einer 🌹zum Geburtstag. Wir genossen den Aufenthalt sehr
