We stayed in the hotel at the end of June 2017 as part of a VJV Treasures of Sicily tour. Our initial impression was great. The hotel is extremely well located for the promenade, which has many restaurants. Our room was on the top floor and huge, with a door leading to the room that you could wander out onto for great views, as well as your own piece of balcony. However, the air conditioning was non functional, with the outside temperature almost 40 degrees centigrade. After returning from one of the local restaurants we found the room was flooded, with water pouring through the ceiling from the air con unit. We complained and were moved to a tiny room on the ground floor which was pretty awful. Thankfully we were only there for one night. As in other reviews here the breakfast was rubbish and not of an alleged 4 star hotel quality.
We stayed on night at this hotel on our trip to Sicily. The room was clean and adequate. Breakfast was in nice room by the pool but had less offerings than some other hotel. This hotel has a magnificent pool overlooking the sea and the view is incredible. However, the trash and garbage that washes up to shore is left. It looks awful and really detracts from the hotel and the setting.
I would not recommend staying here, our room had two cockroaches and the staff would not change our rooms or do anything about it. Staff is rude. The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbor and surrounding noises. Very disappointed with this 4-star hotel, will not be coming back.
The hotel is situated on the beachfront in Agrigento and our initial impression was good. The room was comfortable (although the view was restricted), wifi was free and there was a good sized swimming pool. It is in walking distance of a number of restaurants along the seafront. Breakfast was a disappointment, with a very restricted selection. Not as good as you would expect or require when setting off on the next stage of your group tour.
We recently stayed here for 2 nights in an upgraded standard room. The hotel is very conveniently located to Agrigento on the water. The hotel has a wonderful pool (which is not heated) next to the sea. The rooms were incredibly clean and well maintained even though the overall decoration in the hotel is somewhat dated. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and nice as well as helpful with dinner reservations. The bar was well stocked and the bartender made a good apero spritz. Breakfast had eggs, bacon, meats, cheese, and a variety of baked goods. Not necessary the best cooking but there was a lot of fresh fruit as well. The orange juice was terrible but the staff made fresh coffee as requested.
We stayed for one night. Our lovely room overlooked the pool and the ocean. This hotel is clearly used by many tours and overall was very good, the only slight issue was the breakfast, which was not quite as good as the other hotels we visited on our trip!
This hotel had large attractive rooms, and a balcony with a great view of the Mediterranean. The bathroom could have used a little more light, but was adequate. Breakfast buffet was typical. The infinity pool was very attractive (but no open due to cool weather). The location is close to many restaurants, but not near any sites or shopping.
I stayed here as part of a group tour and was initially given a small room with access only into a glazed interior corridor. The air con had not yet been turned on for the summer and the room was 26 degrees. After a slightly heated conversation with the reception staff I was moved to a room that had access to the outside air, which was a handicapped accessible room. Judging by the cleanliness it hadn't been used in a while but beggars can't be choosers, the hotel had several large parties in that night. All in all I would sum it up as a stop off point for tours but not somewhere you'd pick for a longer stay.
Stayed here one night with VJV trip. Great for an overnighter. Rooms spacious and clean, nice views of the sea, great no fuss wifi. Breakfast was 'so so', catering for mass tourism, lots of coaches, bring earplugs. Nice selection of restaurants nearby all within walking distance, but wouldn't want to stay any longer than one night.
The front rooms of this hotel look directly onto the ocean. Ours had a view of a wall, but was nice. Good shower and wireless Internet. Nice bar. Food was not particularly wonderful, but lots of restaurants are very close. We would stay here again, if we had waterf6.
