Good spot for a family seaside holiday without a car

We had a fortnight's holiday in late July/early August. We chose the location because of the good transport links throughout the region and because of the proximity of attractions and activities. The property can be easily accessed on public transport as there is a bus to Cap d'agde from Agde Station. The property is a few minutes' walk from the bus stop. The property was very clean and we loved the view from the balcony. We paid more than we usually would for a holiday rental but as the apartment is advertised for 6, this seemed reasonable. We were quite surprised by the size of the apartment when we got there - it looks bigger in the photos than it feels when you're there. We were glad to be family of 3 (2 adults and 1 tall 14 year old) and couldn't imagine having any of our extended family with us! The property was obviously well-used though, and this perhaps showed in some of the decor and furnishings. Things we loved: the view, good size shower, proximity to beach, boat bus outside the apartment, selection of restaurants in walking distance, being able to get to Sète, Marseillan, Nimes, Béziers, Carcassonne, Agde, etc so easily. The concierge of the property was helpful and responded quickly. We had a great holiday. 😊 Thank you.

Das Positive vorab; die Umgebung ist wirklich sehr schön. Die Unterkunft ist allerdings in einem absolut inakzeptablen Zustand! Für uns als Familie mit Hund, sogar nicht bewohnbar. Wir haben uns nach dem ersten Schrecken eine andere Unterkunft gesucht und glücklicherweise auch gefunden.Zusammengefasst macht es den Anschein, dass hier nie irgendwas erneuert wurde und entsprechend sieht es aus:* Schlafsofa ist so speckig und dreckig, dass man sich nicht mal mehr darauf setzen möchte*Lampen fallen von den Wänden*Wände und Decken sind mit Löchern übersät, Farbe bröckelt ab* Tische mit Löchern* Kühlschrank mit Beulen* alter Dreck auf der Spülmaschine* Sockelleisten die abfallen und auf dem Boden liegenFür uns war es nicht möglich hier zu wohnen. Abgesehen davon, ist das Appartement jetzt auch kein Schnäppchen, da ist die Erwartung eine Andere.Ich lade ein paar Fotos mit hoch, so kann sich jeder selber ein Bild machen und entscheiden, ob er hier seinen Urlaub verbringen möchte.

Tout d abord l annonce n est pas à jour , il n y a pas de four ni de mini bar, il n y a pas de lavomatique, même pas un balai! aspirateur dont le balai brosse ne tient plus, et le système pour laver le sol n est pas du tout pratique, climatisation pas assez forte pour l exposition, manque une baie vitrée. Residence avec des propriétaires anti locataires !!Nous ne reviendrons pas!!!!

Schön aber sehr laut

Die Wohnung ist klein, aber reicht. Die Austattung ist teilweise schon etwas mitgenommen, z.B. die Polsterung der Stühle löst sich und klebt dann an der Haut, eher das geringste Übel. Unschön war die zerbrochene Fensterscheibe mit seinen schwarzen Kanten. Ab 10 Uhr hat das Aqualand auf, wo man schnell die Schreie der Kinder hört, gegenüber, etwa 250 Luftline ist eine Kirmes aufgebaut, welche jeden Abend lautstark bis tief in die Nacht zu hören und auch zu sehen ist. Das Schlafzimmer wird somit mit beleuchtet, man hätte zwar die Möglichkeit die Rolläden runter zu machen (elektrisch), aber dann kommt kein Lüftchen mehr rein. Neben der Kirmes ist eine Disco, die jeden Abend bis 6 Uhr morgens lautstark zu hören ist, die Lieder kann man dann im Bett mitsingen. Morgens zwischen 8 und 9 Uhr kommt dann der Reinigungsservice mit seiner Maschine um die Flure im Haus zu reinigen, hört man auch. Der Aufzug ist schräg gegenüber der Haustür, somit hört man dann die Leute ebenfalls welche sich vor dem Aufzug unterhalten wenn sie warten, das natürlich auch nachts. Der Strand ist wirklich in 2-3 Minuten zu erreichen und mit einer der schönsten die wir je gesehen haben, dieser wird jede Nacht gereinigt. Die Menschen dort sind sehr nett. Alles in allem haben wir das beste daraus gemacht, würden dort aber auf keinen Fall nochmal Urlaub machen da es einfach viel zu laut ist, da macht die schöne Aussicht mit Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang das ganze auch nicht mehr wett.

Super Lage

Ausstattung ist abgenutzt, aber ok. Die Lage ist top. Für Familien mit Kindern alles fussläufig: Bäcker, Aquapark, Restaurants usw. Strand in 2 Minuten. Anlage ist gesichert. Parkplatz vorhanden. Wir waren zufrieden.

semaine sympatique au cap d'agde
