Thank you very much to thé director..misses saadia.misses karima.mister lahcen.houcine.abdellatif and all these of staff of hotel tildi who were responsible for a great Vacation. Misses El hor ..belgium
Although the Tildi is possibly over-starred, it is without doubt the happiest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are 5 star plus , - always smiling, supportive, problem solving, and do their utmost to solve visitors' problems and questions. Our personal thanks go to the reception staff: Houcaine, Zahir and Fatima. To Abdulatif for his hugs and gifts of roses and Kamal in the bar - a great sense of humour and patient. The hotel must be careful to nurture them in order to keep them to compensate for the rather outdated décor and furnishings, and lack of 'frills', and very hard bed!!
We stayed at the Tildi Spa hotel during New Year and it is definitely a decent budget option. Clean room, hot shower, comfortable bed, nice staff, nice garden area around pool, good location. Downsides are outdated decor, very average food, depressing dining room. I recommend you use this as a B&B base to enjoy Agadir.
We are currently staying at this hotel and so far it’s great. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a small issue with the size of our pillows (they were just too big!) they had replacements almost immediately. There is a safe in the rooms but you have to pay 250dh per day (we are working on 10dh to the £) so for 10 days it would cost us £25 so we haven’t bothered. The breakfast is traditional Moroccan, with extras like pastries and omelettes. Basic cereal or fresh bread with a selection of meats, cheese and jams. The pool area is great, plenty of room and plenty of sun beds. There is table tennis outside and a pool table inside. There is also a small pool and play area if you have little ones. The staff seem to be very attentive and pleasant. So far it’s a great choice!!
We spent 2 weeks at the Tildi Resort and Spa, a return visit for us. We found that there had been some alterations to the hotel since our last visit, all to improve the overall facilities so that this visit was even more enjoyable than our last visit. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and welcoming, it was good to see Houcine on reception again and to be welcomed by Abdellatif the friendly baggageman again. The chef and the waiters were different but they were just as efficient and accommodating as the last time we visited, in fact I would say that the food was, if anything, better than last time and it was good then. I would recommend that you try this hotel, it is a hidden gem of a place, not so big as most of the sea front hotels, but one of the most comfortable places we have stayed in Morocco.
If you want great service at a great cost this is the hotel for you. I travelled with my wife and 3 month baby and the hotel and general people in Agadir are very accommodating to people with babies. It is 5 minutes walk to the beach and close to all main restaurants. Abdel Atif will provide you with free mint tea all day long, and the pool is situated in a court yard style garden. I researched other hotels that were more expensive and did not provide the same level of service as Tildi. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Staying for a week in December. The staff are friendly and helpful, meals (on half board) good quality and plentiful. Facilities are in good condition, with a lovely garden surrounding the pool. Our party ordered lunch in one day and had excellent seafood.
We have been travelling around Morocco & stayed in a few different types of place. Wonderful Riads, beach huts & 5 star hotels. We are really glad we choose this place. Its not glizty & its a little dated but the staff were just wondeful! From the moment we arrived people could not have been nicer. It really does make a place & the far more expensive place we stayed in a couple of nights ago could learn a few lessons (very glizty but souless & the reception staff terrible). The staff have made us very relaxed & glad we booked in for the end of our trip. The rooms are a bit dated but spotless, beds are firm & comfortable. The pool area is lovely & the food last night (we got a deal on half board) was way better than I was expecting. For the money paid I'd highly recommend, I cant see how you would get much better. P.S. Looking at previous reviews who expects a heated outdoor pool????
We stayed here for a week at the end of November. This hotel is located near the centre of Agadir about 200yds from the beach - an ideal central location to benefit from the excellent local restaurants and promenade. Located on a side road it was quiet and peaceful, Lovely garden with beautiful secluded pool. We found the staff to be absolutely wonderful without exception - they all went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast and poolside snack bar both served great food but the evening meal was disappointing on the one occasion that we tried it. However, there were so many good restaurants to visit that did not bother us. The rooms were large and comfortable and the housekeeping staff kept them scrupulously clean. We will definitely return, we had a wonderful stay.
Travelled as a couple for some winter sun. For £30-£35/night, exceeded expectations. Hotel a little bit dated. Lovely friendly attentive staff. Super clean. Decent facilities. Food was perfectly tasty. Nice pool and gardens. Only real downside was the smoke filled bar, which we would have used in the evenings had it not been. Overall, very happy with our experience of Tildi Hotel and Agadir.
