We were only there for one night but the entrance to the grounds was amazing. It was beautiful. Easy to check in and staff were super friendly. There was a complimentary wine tasting which was a really cool extra! The room was clean and spacious and had everything you needed. It was perfect for our travels.

The location was absolutely fantastic. We loved the attached winery and truly enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting. It was a wonderful experience overall. However, I was very disappointed to find a large number of dead flies in our room. There were not only dead ones but also live flies flying around. I understand that flies are common in McLaren Vale, but the amount in the room was excessive. Although there was bug spray provided and I used it, it didn't solve the problem completely. Coming from Japan, I am not accustomed to seeing insects indoors, so I expected a much cleaner environment. Seeing dozens of dead flies on the windowsill was particularly disturbing. I strongly hope the housekeeping will be improved.

This property was great for us. We had a 4 night stay here while visiting family in the area. The bed was comfy, the room was very clean and serviced daily. The water pressure was excellent and provided for a great shower. The shower is over the bath, not a problem for us but could be an issue for some people. We had an excellent meal at the restaurant on the Friday night. They have a pool that was very much appreciated on a 34 degree day when visiting from Tasmania. We will definitely stay again as the prices are very reasonable in comparison to other accomodation in the area.

The room was spacious and well appointed. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant which was very good and enjoyed tastings of the Serafino wines. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

For the price of our stay we found it to be poor value. The accommodation is in desperate need of an update, worn and to be honest filthy. I am not sure if it was just our room but it was not clean, dead flies and dust everywhere, mould and hair ridden bathroom. Customer service isn’t existent, other than check in you don’t see staff, they don’t answer the phone when you call reception. The pool, despite the photos is dirty and very uninviting.

Service was excellent at check in. Surroundings of the resort was restful - with lots of birds settling in for the night. Rooms are tired - bedsheets were generally clean and pressed. Room was spacious. WiFi was way too slow to stream Netflix. However, there were many areas which made our stay far from ideal. First, there were a vast number of bugs and we had living in the lights and in the toilet. In the morning there were bugs all over the toilet floor. We had a worm crawl out from the side of the sink in the morning. If not for the insects, the accommodation would’ve have been acceptable. We stayed 1 night and headed out first thing in the morning.

I loved so much about this property and had a wonderful stay. Room was spacious and in good condition, bathroom had a corner spa and looked recently refurbished. A lovely outlook onto the garden and I enjoyed having an early morning cuppa on my verandah. Only a few small things I'd like to see improved - a mirror in the main room would be handy, the bread supplied at breakfast didn't fit in the toaster, and the shower door didn't close properly so bathroom floor became very wet. Overall a great stay and I'd stay here again.

I stayed for 2 nights to enjoy some peace and quiet. I loved the beautiful trees and bushes around the property, in particular the pond with the fountain. The bird chatter added to the serenity and feeling of being disconnected from city life. I loved the pool- swimming is one of my favourite ways to relax. The parking was convenient and the room was very comfortable. I had everything I needed for my visit.. The staff gave a cordial welcome. The voucher for a wine tasting next door at the cellar was lovely too where staff were friendly and helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
