Excellent location and excellent service. Handy location for public transport from the airport and city. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast excellent value and the cleanliness of the rooms excellent. The location of this hotel is only a 20 minute walk from the Supercars track; tram ride to Glenelg and free public transport within the city.
Overall a nice hotel but the breakfast was very poor quality. Location is great for an easy walk to Adelaide 500 circuit and for a morning walk around the parkland opposite. Room clean but a little dated. Front office staff were pleasant.
Arrived here after an 9 days camping trip, so we had a lot of luxery. Nice big room with 2 twinbeds :) clean and tidy bathroom with lots of products to use. about 15-20 min walk to the city. Nice hotel, but guess there are hotels with better location.
Our second stay was a complimentary offer from management due to our first stay being poor, we thank them sincerely for making effort to correct that experience sadly house keeping let you down again.
A rush trip to Adelaide from Canberra to visit an very sick relative was overshadowed by difficulties . Not caused by the Sage but by arriving in Adelaide during the Fringe Festival , a very fitting name , the three day Adelaide 500 car races and the excavation works in North Terrace , the main thoroughfare, for tram line extension . All of which have caused road closures and detours . It took forty minutes at 4 pm to traverse the relatively short North Terrace with most traffic lights taking three goes to get through . Side streets could not be escaped into because of tram excavations in the centre of the road . Adelaide city centre , originally beautifully planned with wide streets is currently made more impassable by the decision to concrete strip of a dedicated bicycle lane on each side of many streets , removing two lanes of vehicular traffic . Remember that Adelaide is also fenced in on three sides by lovely parks and the Torrens River on the fourth , making any road closures very crucial . However , the Sage Hotel . An eleven storey building with basic facilities . Clean , tiny rooms , even the King Executive Suites , with balconies . Shower over high lipped bath . No table or chair to eat breakfast . The biggest and best breakfast I have ever had . Only 29.95 . Also , easy parking for only $5 a night . Nearly went back to airport to hire a second car I was so ecstatic . Good bar , reasonable prices , had room service one night also , price and quantity excellent . Not large menu . We did not dine there formally . Difficult to find on South Terrace if you are a visitor without satnav . Hint , within 50 metres of a concrete overhead pedestrian footbridge . Young staff , very friendly , casuals looked like neat uni students . Efficient . Suitable for our two day stay but if we return we will try for the one bedroom rooms . Moderate price but of course greatly inflated by events in town .
From start to finish the time at here was enjoyable, staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, Free Coffee Pods in room as well as the normal coffee/tea etc. Breakfast was enjoyable except the standard Baked Beans at the buffet was missing. Overall time was great and will be back in May
Had a great stay at Sage Hotel. Really impressed with room, very comfortable and good amenities. Only negative was that housekeeping wasn't of a great standard. Dirty dishes left in our room, cups not cleaned. Didn't really bother me but good to note. Overall we really enjoyed the stay. Very handy location for exploring the city (tram stop nearby) and surrounding areas. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and very good service with both food and wine recommendations made to us.
Check-in was easy, accommodation was clean, restaurant offered great breakfast and evening meal. Great location easy to access public transport. The one thing that I was not pleased with was the way the bed was made on the second night.
Great location hotel also has great facilities two pools offered a gym available laundry quick and easy 11th floor rooms are beautiful with nice spa bath products smell amazing! Staff are very friendly and helpful 😊
The rooms are a nice size, not a 100% clean. And the pricing is so different one week I paid $109.00 and the very next weekend on the same day (Friday) they charged $139.00. The hotel is in a good location.
