Hotel is very comfortable for families. Our twin room was fantastic very spacious. Wonderful amenities especially the Complimentary mini bar. Recommend a visit to the hotels Hennessey Roof top bar great vibe. Location is fantastic right in the hustle and bustle of Adelaide. Rundal Mall at your doorstep for shopping. You can walk to Adelaide Oval to watch the footy with the Casino close by as well with restaurants and another roof top bar called Sol. Well done Mayfair Hotel we will definitely be back.

I often stay here for sorter work trips. Convenient central location. Prefer the rooms on higher floors and to the side or back away from King William Street. Comfortable bed. Tv is old and not inspiring to watch with movie all paid, but means I get out and about instead.

The rooms are not overly clean- lots of dust. The tv in the room is horrible. It would not respond to the remote easily - very delayed. Also you can’t connect your device to the tv like other hotels to stream. You have to pay for movies - old school and limited and faulty as wouldn’t always play the movie. Had to call reception to have Maintence come up. Even then it struggled to work. The Mayfair reception staff didn’t even know the in room iPad could book a taxi. As we booked one for advance and it hadn’t been actioned. The prices of the rooms is over priced in my view for the quality and amenities provided. The breakfast was average. Waffles were always out of stock at the buffet and not refilled.

Nice spot but as a regular returning customer, you don’t feel that. House Keeping was slack and rubbish, empty glasses from the previous night, were not cleared away every night for 3 nights. room service finished and we were unable to order drinks, which we used to be able to and they no longer do champagne by the glass. It’s the small things that matter and we won’t be returning.

This stay was a significant disappointment. The furniture, carpets, and bathroom walls were noticeably stained and unclean, and it was uncomfortable to sit at the end of the bed. The air conditioning failed to adequately cool the room, while the hallways and lobby were uncomfortably cold. We also experienced ongoing issues obtaining hot water in the shower. I do not usually leave negative reviews; however, this property is marketed as a luxury accommodation and, at $350 per night, we expected a far higher standard. These concerns were raised with reception during our stay. This visit was intended to be a special occasion, which made the experience particularly disappointing. Even basic details, such as displaying the correct guest name on the television, were incorrect. Overall, the general upkeep and attention to detail were well below expectations.
