Very tired rooms, no Nespresso this time. Last time room was old and some ammenities not working properly. we will try somewhere else next time as we are regular visitors to Adelaide. We just thought we don't have time to muck around.

Excellent reception staff and clean but I am afraid that’s all I can say. Our accommodation was Depressingly functional , very little natural light and very expensive during the Adelaide cricket test match between England and Australia. Felt ripped off , clearly accommodation is at a premium in Adelaide during a busy test match so every advantage was taken by the owners to hike up the price and provide very mediocre facilities. We even had our second pillows removed , we were told because of doubling up in some rooms they had run out of pillows so ours were taken and never replaced despite asking for them, no bath mat provided on several occasions as they had run out and we had to ask for additional coat hangers as we thought the 4 hangers provided for two people was very poor . All in all the company had over stretched themselves, charged too much and could not meet demand with the basics. Free water was provided for two days and then stopped for some reason. The mini bar in the room consisted of over priced water in the fridge!!. A poor reflection of how this company treats visitors to this great city.

Great accommodation easy to get to many places such as Rundle Mall. Close enough to walk to the Casino and the train station. There were a large number of place to eat nearby. There is onsite parking for a fee or there is paid public parking nearby. Our apartment included a washer, dryer and dish washer.

The happy and caring team at Franklin Central Apartments are the cream on the cake for this property. Situated in the heart of Adelaide you are no more than 10 minutes from a host of restaurants, Rundle Mall, the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Central Markets (a must see), the Adelaide Zoo and the Botanical Gardens. The rooms are spacious and well appointed.

The hotel is in an excellent location but is very basic. The apartments have no air-conditioning or fans in the bedrooms, but the staff found me a pedestal fan quickly on request. The housekeeping standard was below expectations with obvious shortfalls every day. Equipment was all adequate and in good condition. Reception staff made all the difference because they were, without exception, helpful and considerate.

The location was central for us, the room was very clean and the reception staff were great. But, water pressure in the shower was abysmal as was the wifi. It was even hard to send an email. The breakfast care downstairs was ordinary so I’d look for somewhere else for breakfast. There are better places available.

Great accommodation at a reasonable price in a central location The unit was spacious and clean, but the view was not exactly picturesque The staff are friendly and helpful and reception hours are until 11pm which is handy There is only one lift so it can be a little slow especially at peak times We experienced a "water hammer" noise in the plumbing which thankfully did not continue for the whole time When we reported it to the receptionist she could not have been more helpful She offered to move us to another room and even said she would get housekeeping to help us Thankfully we did not need to as I have not learnt the art of packing light and the thought of moving did worry me There is a cafe on site, which we did not use as we had self contained accommodation but it is handy if you wish to use it Having said all this we would not hesitate to stay here again

I booked a single room. I was travelling with others who booked a single room and a double room. Very good apartments and very large for the money. Very clean and comfortable - very friendly and helpful staff. On the outskirts of the city central but within a 20 minute walk to most central locations and less for many inner city locations. We tried to get parking for one night of the three we were there and we were told where we could park in the street after hours. Tempted to reduce a star because of this alone, but i did not. One nights parking with six people booked for three nights is more than a reasonable request. The rules state they have a zero tolerance for in room parties and prima facie I agree with that. However it states that you will be evicted immediately if you breach the rule.and that is a big problem without a definition of what they consider a party is. We were a group of 4, 60 year olds who were staying and visiting friends. One night after travelling we returned very late and had had delivered pizza with a bottle of wine between 4. Defiantly not a party but we are a group friends with nearly 50 years of history between us but we were worried that a few loud words might make it seem like a party, and I acknowledge we are often loud.. I agree with, quiet after travelling for many years and suffering people on holidays returning home and being loud and obnoxious when I had to go to work the next day. In short I agree with the policy apart from zero tolerance - there has to be at least one warning.

We stayed here for a weekend with friends, all of us from interstate. The location was good, a taxi rank on the block behind, and only a $10 taxi ride to pretty much anywhere within the CBD. Check in was easy and we were given all the info we needed. We had a 3 bedroom apartment, which was basic, but clean and spacious. We had the group of us in our apartment one night for dinner before we all went out and there was plenty of space for all of us (around 20). There was plenty of crockery etc available in the cupboards. There are some very strange designs in the apartments though, the bathroom between two of the bedrooms had a window on either side right up high on the wall, which meant that if one person went to the toilet in the middle of the night and turned the light on, the light shone right into the other room. The blinds also badly need replacing, they are old cheap shutters that do very little to keep any light out, so the room was like being outside at 5.30am. This place seems to be quite popular with groups of friends and hens/bucks parties as we saw a few of these while we stayed. They were all advised about their rules regarding noise though and we didn't have any issues with this. However as there were a few large groups of people and only 1 veeeeeery slow lift, this made getting around the building difficult. One of our party spent 10 minutes waiting for the lift one morning!! I have to give a mention to the staff though, as every one that we came across were absolutely lovely and couldn't be more courteous and helpful.

Over a period of 2 weeks stayed here 3 times on our travels. First night we rattled around in a 3 bedroom apartment. 2nd visit was 3 nights and our tour booker stuffed up and only booked on room for our two couples. Unit manager worked hard to accommodate us with little assistance from Tour company, discover Australia tours. She managed to get us into a 3 bedroom apartment even though a one was booked. This took a lot of stress out of our time in Adelaide. Very friendly, courteous and highly professional. All counter staff great. Facilities good for a traveller, washing machine, dryer and kitchen. Close to centre. Breakfast at coffee shop very good.
