Firstly you get what you pay for..this is a three star hotel ..and you didn't pay a fortune. We arrived after nine pm so we missed evening tea..we where given a butty and fruit with water each. Our room was clean and tidy, third floor with fantastic view. There are steps lots of them in fact from our room to the restaurant 91 steps..but the hotel does tell you about this. The top pool near reception is quiet perfect if you want to relax. The middle pool where the bar is and the third pool are busy..there are games in the pools and aqua aerobics which is fun. They also have what I called poolside retail therapy, a lady sets up her clothes stall and does a fashion show, good fun and nice stuff to be purchased. There are only say 15 parasols so get there early, the lifeguard gets there at ten am and starts to get the parasols out..be prepared there's always a mad dash to her for them lol...the bottom pool is outside the restaurant this is the warmest pool. The bar opens at 10.30am and shuts dot on 11pm. I suggest at 10.30pm you go to bar a few times to top up your drinks..we did this and stayed until 1am with all the drinks we stocked up on 😁. The bar staff well the nicest is the bald man I've forgotten his name, he's lovely. The food is basic..hit and miss..we had issues but the management where made aware of this. The main town is a short walk and has some fab restaurants and bars. Not alot as small town. People mention the cups that the drinks are served in..yes they are small..you can get two drinks at a time and service is fast.. The rooms where cleaned four times we where there ten days...could do with air con ...

Reading mixed reviews before going we were very worried about our holiday to Callao Garden. First of all, if you have booked - don't worry, it isn't absolute hell! Good points: Breakfast is GREAT, there is so much choice (just some more fruit would have been good), all food is topped up at the buffet, the steps are a welcome bit of exercise when you eat and drink so much on holiday, the apartments are quite big, the alcoholic selection in A/I was the best I have seen. Bad points: dated and in need of repair/decent investment, the rooms get very hot - we slept with doors open and fan on but it didn't help - air con is needed, the atmosphere in the restaurant was nonexistent, beer was served in cups the size for a water machine, the entertainment was poor as only one guy doing it and he focused very much on young girls rather than all holiday goers, the bar shuts at 11pm and you can't even buy more drinks - yet young girls were getting locked inside to continue the 'party' with bar staff and then have pool parties very late into the evening/morning. When we first arrived, we liked the place, but sadly by the time we left too many things were apparent which confirmed we would not come back. But it was a cheap holiday, so we didn't expect to be wowed by the place. The location itself is nice for a quiet getaway with a couple of restaurants only a 5 minute walk away, but my advice for anyone wanting a peaceful break but with access to more activities - stay in Costa Adeje, it is definitely worth the extra few quid for a hotel there :)

You get what you pay for at this hotel unfortunately food is pretty much the same day after day pork pasta fish chips most days for lunch and dinner .. Food was pretty tasteless .. Breakfast was certainty the best meal of the day ..some Staff in hotel are brilliant Daniel n jorgeo I think is name is the bald one lol are a credit to this hotel and keep all customers happy there brilliant other restaurant bar staff are polite enough .. Female staff in reception are quite rude and can be very ignorant.. Had money stolen out the room by a cleaner hotel wasn't really bothered and at first said cleaner not been in there as was to messy so she had refused to go in.. till i pointed out the room was tidy if they'd like to go with me and look and also the beds had been changed and towels changed so clearly she'd been in so they basically called us liars .. No were near enough parasols for the pools especially when you have kids in the scorching heat most of the sunbeds with parasols had towels on them by 7:30am but no people till afternoon.. Pools really salty .. One bar for the whole resort near the bottom level .. Rubbish when your on the top level ..No bottled water unless you pay for it only machines with little cups but not allowed to fill bottles up with it .. One lifeguard for 3 pools on 3 different levels so she was never on the top level pool .. Certainty wouldn't recommended if you have young kids or trouble with steps..we were in 1175 and the shower and water pressure was ridiculous unable to shower majority of the time as no water came out or just a dribble .. One the 2 rare occasions we got some water in there it was impossible to get it warm .. Bath was really stained chipped and disgusting needs a complete new bath not a bath mat to cover it lol ... Needs a different lay out in rooms as a make shift double bed in living room is really uncomfortable and not very convenient for day time use .. Really needs a good make over and a menu re vamp .. Could be a beautiful place with a bit off TLC .

We spent 7 days at Hotel Blue Sea Callao Garden in June 2017 as a last minute holiday. Below are my pros/cons of the resort: Pros - Spacious accommodation with kitchen and nice balconies. - 4 swimming pools and activities such as squash, mini golf and tennis. - Helpful staff and friendly, relaxed atmosphere. - There is a small shop for essentials with very friendly staff, where you can also book tours/trips. Cons - Wifi is appalling. It only works in Reception at a very limited speed and it costs 5 EUR per day to get a pass but they admit it doesn't work. - Housekeeping staff don't always attend rooms and this means towels have to be asked for on occasions. - One guy runs the entire entertainment program and although he is enthusiastic, the hotel probably needs to invest in further staff to make sure guests have enough to do on this all-inclusive resort. - Food is very repetitive and on occasions undercooked. More variety is definitely needed alongside more healthy options and fresh fruit etc. - If you don't like smoking, probably avoid this hotel as pretty much every single adult smokes in the public areas and there aren't many ashtrays! Overall, I enjoyed my stay with my partner but it was far from perfect. The hotel needs to invest more time and money into the facilities to provide a great holiday experience. They have the foundations but just need to consider the small things in order to be truly great.

3 girls on a relaxing week off work Room was ok fantastic views clean bath and shower large balcony 4 pools bar that served everything we needed Food was ok we were never hungry wine with meals was very nice Lots of steps and a steep hill to get to the room or bar after meal times . Couldve done with air con as only a ceiling fan but good value for what we paid for Complex was fine but nothing to do in resort . If you fancied doing something out of complex you needed to get bus to America's or cristianos All in all we would go again

We stayed here November 2016, only downside is there are steps , steep steps everywhere ! Other than that we lived it! Value for money you want 5stars pay and go elsewhere ! Lovely big apartments yes a little dated but okay beds comfy , nice balcony sea view ! Entertainment not great but some lovely bars up the road ! Staff very friendly and helpful ! Food plenty of choices no complaints there ! Someone wrote about Green eggs on a previous post ? God knows where they cane from, ? in fact I enjoyed both fried and scrambled Eggs ! All pools were nice but cold as not heated but okay once you are in 👍plenty of sun beds too ! I would consider going again only down to those steps and steep walk back from the shops would prevent me from doing so otherwise yes I recommend it for cpls , friends but not for elderly ! Thank you all at Blue sea gardens for an enjoyable stay x

Even though this was a 3 star hotel, and as the reviews stated the place wasn't perfect. On arrival i found the receptionist to be abrupt and rude. I had emailed a few days before to ask for a late check out and was told to discuss this on my arrival. When i did god you would think i was about to murder her. She was very rude and that really got my guard up about the place. Surely they could get a bloody chef that can cook. Breakfast was ok, but you did get a bit fed up of having the same old crap day in day out. The only decent think was the sausages and the crossaints, i had to ask once to have the fried egg cooked properly as it was still had snot on it. Come on surely they should know how to fry an egg!!!! If you fancy toast forget it as you can put the bread in upto 10 times and it would still come out as bread!!!! Lunch again you could get away with having something to fill the whole. However when dinner came around there was a couple of times that my stomach churned at the thought of eating there. They served undercooked rice, undercooked chicken which we all know is a definite no no. Then they cooked duck in orange omg once i tasted it i had to spit it out it was revolting and no taste of orange just boiled duck with loads of fat and awful. I felt terrible having paid for all inclusive to go and spend money eating out four times. The stairs in this place is an understatement, we had to go up over 80 steps just to get from restaurant to our apartment. It states not suitable for the disabled but this is a joke. i felt sorry for parents with small children in buggies!!! Apartments where spacious and roomy but very dated and the sofabed fell apart just from sitting on it. Don't expect any complimentary toiletries as you don't even get soap to wash your hands. The rooms where cleaned but not as often as you would have liked and they didn't wash the cups, glasses or replace them. Every little extra you have to pay for, the tv, safe and wifi for one item in the apartment. Reception wifi is crap. Entertainment well this was very limb but felt sorry for Dani as he did try but he had to deal with this on his own. The bar staff some where better than others and i have to say this is the first time that i have found somethink in local drink that i could drink cocorum was lovely. They have a rule of not reserving sunbeds but they all do it, however you have mess around and find a sunbed that isn't broken, and there isn't enough to go around and definitely not enough umbrellas to go around. They have three pools but only the main one by the bar has an open bar. The quiet pool has a bar that isn't open and no lifeguard around either. The pool by the restaurant has a silly gap with dangerous ramp and grills and is very unsafe. On checkout i asked about luggage room and shower room, well they have a luggage room where everybody that checks out leaves the luggage not very secure, when i asked about the shower i was told that she couldn't tell me where it was until i checked out, secret location. I then informed her that normally shower room should be near the luggage room and she didn't give a toss. There was an acciden while we was there and i felt really sorry for the lady and the family as it was a nightmare to get her out to the ambulance because of the stairs. This has a making of a good hotel if they sorted the staff, updated the place and tried to level it off somehow. I would definitely not recomend and will definitely not be going back.

So all the reports of this hotel being dated is correct but what do people expect for a 3 star hotel in Spain somewhere like the ritz in London if so that's never going to happen...it's Spain Food - Breakfast was adequate for the hotel the only negative I have is the bacon wasn't proper bacon Lunch was again ok different variety each day Dinner the same as lunch the sweets were lovely especially the ice cream Entertainment - again what are people expecting from a 3 star hotel a full west end show isn't gonna happen so it was fun you have to hand it to Dani the young lad he's in there from 10am till closing of the bar entertaining everybody and if all people do is complain there not helping and that's 7 days ok Bar yes I agree with certain comments about the bar staff being rude and the rule for 2 drinks per customer at the bar was a joke but not all bar staff were rude or stuck to the rules. Room yes these where very dated but adequate my bath could have done with a new one but I only used it to shower. It was clean and tidy and all I did was sleep in there so nothing to complain about. People need to get a grip and realise this is a 3 star hotel and yes it needs a tidy up but complaining and moaning ain't going to change it and plus you pay for what you get and if you want luxury pay the price...

Just returned today 20th June and I don't buy others views that the hotel is out of date. It's a three star hotel and as such the facilities are not all that bad. However, the food is awful as is the bar staff attitude and the entertainment. That's not what spoilt our holiday though and my review would have been better had we not been robbed. Yes our room was burgled and they took everything (whilst we were asleep in the room), our phones, iPads, kindles and money The hotel staff stated this was a rare occurrence and Furthermore, they refused to help us with access to a phone or the internet so we could make alternative contact arrangements We were advised that in the three weeks prior three others had been burgled and two people had been mugged in the grounds and we were told yesterday that a further two burglaries happened this week and another mugging in the grounds The whole experience was spoilt by staff who were unhelpful and failed to assist us when we needed it most Never again, thank god it's over

This hotel is very outdated, the rooms were shabby, not cleaned properly, the ciew was fairly decent from the balcony, but some rooms had no view at all. Our biggest bugbear was the food, absolutely awful, not cooked properly, keeping shellfish warm, rice not cooked properly, and produce was either frozen or second rate, chips, chips and pasta, we ate out a few times, and green eggs for breakfast, nasty. There was four thefts in the 10 days we stayed, reception had little or no sympathy, one couple didnt even get a chance to unpack, phones, tablets, money the lot gone! Some of the staff were lovely, but most had long faces, were rude or just were not interested, money needs spending on this place big time, our sofa bed was completely broken, it didnt even serve as a settee, the ends kept falling off. Would not recommend going back to your apartment after dark alone, too many dark corners, and very easy access to hotel grounds, sleeping with doors and windows locked with no air con is ridiculous, and the fan in the living area was useless. Having to pay 1 euro per hour for TV, two english channels, both news, rubbish, 5 euros a day for internet in your room, but not by pool, free in lobby if you can pick a signal up and find someone with a password. The management here need to boost staff morale, spend some money and get the place secure and loved, it could be a beautiful location, the pools are lovely, and on an amazing sun terrace, get decent sunbeds, not ones falling apart, update the rooms and get a decent chef, you could make a killing. Would not recommend to anyone unless you fancy a diet of chips n pasta, go to blackpool it will be cheaper.
