We were blown away from the moment we arrived! The reception was over the top helpful with all our questions, and helped us figure out transportation. The room was so artistic, loved the automatic shade. Very spacious rooms, perfect wifi, plenty of hot water. The best breakfast I have had on my entire trip, Italy's hotels really need to step it up. This place is worth every penny and easy access to port. Already booked my room for my final night. Highly recommended!!

I stayed in this hotel for two nights, 19~21/5/17, the hotel and the room are very clean. The staff are very polite and helpful, all of them make you feel very comfortable. The breakfast is very good , not usual for the same hotel category, or in similar hotels. It is located near the seaside. There is a noise from the road however in the night there was not absolutely any bother at all. The wifi was very good.

Thirty years ago, I stayed in Patras for one night, but it wasn’t a delightful experience. When my partner told me, that he booked a hotel in Patras, my first reaction was, -Oh no, not at that place! Of course, it was in a different part of the city and a different kind of accommodation. When we walked in Airotel Patras Smart Hotel, my first impression (that is always very important) was positive, and it was just getting better and better. The lobby was elegant, the elevator fast and spacious, and our room was a pure delight. From the balcony, we could see the beach, the Greek orthodox cathedral church, the Agios Andreas was only a short stroll away, and with the help of the lady at the front desk, we found a place full of good restaurants also from a very short distance. So the location couldn’t be better. In the room we found plenty of power points, that is a usual problem in hotels, that you want to charge 2-3 devices, and have only one power point. Not in Airotel. There was also a very fancy iron with an ironing board. I nearly felt tempted to iron some cloth, but after I came to my sane mind. In the crystal clean bathroom were plenty of amnities. The free wi-fi provided us with good reception, and the breakfast was something that you should have to avoid if you try to loose weight. Especially the pannacotta was delightful. I hardly could stop myself not to eat more and more. This hotel was the nicest surprise during our holiday in Greece.

Awesome room, good amenities, and helful staff. Good location just few meters from beach.Easy walking distance to cafes and bars of resort. Breakfast is delicius, with big variety of dishes. There is no problem for parking place. Definitely recomended. :)

We were surprised how modern and clean this hotel was. If you walk five blocks you are at the intersection of Korinthou and Trion Navachon which is the heart of the restaurant district. The rooms are clean, modern with lots of power points for charging things, free wifi which is reasonably fast, and free parking in the basement if you are one of the first six or seven to check in, otherwise there is on-street parking. Breakfast is exceptional. Choice of juices, cereals, deluxe coffee machine, choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and other baked goodies, all free. If you want to walk in the city and it is a weekday, leave your car in the basement because once you are outside parking during business hours is very hard to find.

Great people, amazing smiles from every sigle one (specially on the reception and Mr.Sotiria)!Great place and more than value for money... Not far from the city and I would definitely come back on my next visit!

First of all the hotel is placed nearby the entrance of the new port. This is an advantage of its own. The hotel seems freshly renovated and it has a modern look with great colours and shades of grey :). Rooms are big enough and with equipment for a long stay. Iron, fridge, coffee machine, TV, many dry hair, etc. Bathroom following the same modern idea and has all the apparel you will need. For the end i left the BREAKFAST... One of the best I had for years, great tastes, vast variety of foods from fitness to eaters, with eggs and omelettes, pies and salads like beans and dolci... Highly recommended for your short or longer stay for busyness trips.

I travelled to Patras a week ago and stayed in a BB double room. The staff was very polite, quick and we checked in in 5 minutes. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from downtown but one can easily find a place to park his car. The room was larger than I expected. We had a sea-view-room and there was a quite spacy balcony with two chairs and table. The breakfast was very good, including everything one would ask in the morning. The only minus I could note is that the chairs in the restaurant were quite high in relation to the tables.

We arrived very early and tired from the ferry and the smiling Panayiotis didn't bat an eye about letting us into our room early. He was extremely helpful, giving us all the information we needed and when it was pouring down offered us hotel umbrellas to save us from a soaking. The rooms are comfortable and stylish and include complimentary tea and coffee and sufficient bottled water (2 bottles, since we were two people). We used the trouser press and iron to dry our trousers. The included buffet breakfast caters for all tastes with continental European, hot choices and beans and lentils for vegetarians and vegans. Only the coffee wasn't great tasting. The hotel is walkable to the town centre and the ferry port. Highly recommended.

Let me say that the only reason(s) I did not rate a 5 is because it would have been quite helpful if the hotel offered shuttle service. And breakfast was a little weird, but sufficient. Overall, we had a good stay at the Airotel Smart hotel in Patras. The hotel was fairly clean and the bed was sufficiently comfortable. The nifty wallpaper background on the headboard wall is beginning to peel and rip in places. The corners could use a deep cleaning (with white accents, it's easy to see dirt piling up on the trim.) As well, the black bathroom had brown spots in the shower area... Oh! And there was a wet spot on the comforter when we arrived, and some questionable stains on other areas of the comforter. A nice touch by the bed on both sides is requested: a small area rug / bath mat of sorts to wipe your feet on before getting into bed, and to step on when getting out of bed. (This was a feature at our stay in Cortona Italy, and it was a nice touch on top of stone floors.) On the other hand, the hotel offers two cleansers in the bathroom that are nice; one at the sink and one in the shower that worked and smelled quite nice. Admittedly though, minimalist bathrooms got on my nerves during our recent 2.5 week trip. There is absolutely nowhere to hang wet towels, so your towels never dry. (Note: If I remember correctly, there were two pegs to hang your towels, but they definitely do not dry hanging close to the wall on a peg / robe hook. And I've noticed at most overseas hotels, they only offer you one towel per person in the bathroom (most hotels in the US usually leave you an avg of 2 towels per person.) On the plus side, the staff member who checked us in and out was very pleasant and helpful. And the hotel offers VERY LATE check out, so we were able to take advantage of late check out for 40 euros and stay until about 7pm or so which made waiting around for our ferry that departed at midnight not so bad of a wait. Another nice touch was the balcony ~ it offered more than enough room for my husband to practice some ashtanga yoga. The balcony offered a nice covered space to view the water, watch the sun set or sun rise and enjoy a drink. Plus, there is a room darkening feature on a switch by balcony. Perfect darkness! The room also had a fridge set in the wall at just the right height! Bonus: it wasn't pre stocked with mini-bar stuff that is in the way, so we had space for our own things. There were two bottles of water in the fridge that we could use without extra charge. Thank you!
