Great people, amazing smiles from every sigle one (specially on the reception and Mr.Sotiria)!Great place and more than value for money... Not far from the city and I would definitely come back on my next visit!

First of all the hotel is placed nearby the entrance of the new port. This is an advantage of its own. The hotel seems freshly renovated and it has a modern look with great colours and shades of grey :). Rooms are big enough and with equipment for a long stay. Iron, fridge, coffee machine, TV, many dry hair, etc. Bathroom following the same modern idea and has all the apparel you will need. For the end i left the BREAKFAST... One of the best I had for years, great tastes, vast variety of foods from fitness to eaters, with eggs and omelettes, pies and salads like beans and dolci... Highly recommended for your short or longer stay for busyness trips.

I travelled to Patras a week ago and stayed in a BB double room. The staff was very polite, quick and we checked in in 5 minutes. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from downtown but one can easily find a place to park his car. The room was larger than I expected. We had a sea-view-room and there was a quite spacy balcony with two chairs and table. The breakfast was very good, including everything one would ask in the morning. The only minus I could note is that the chairs in the restaurant were quite high in relation to the tables.

We arrived very early and tired from the ferry and the smiling Panayiotis didn't bat an eye about letting us into our room early. He was extremely helpful, giving us all the information we needed and when it was pouring down offered us hotel umbrellas to save us from a soaking. The rooms are comfortable and stylish and include complimentary tea and coffee and sufficient bottled water (2 bottles, since we were two people). We used the trouser press and iron to dry our trousers. The included buffet breakfast caters for all tastes with continental European, hot choices and beans and lentils for vegetarians and vegans. Only the coffee wasn't great tasting. The hotel is walkable to the town centre and the ferry port. Highly recommended.

Let me say that the only reason(s) I did not rate a 5 is because it would have been quite helpful if the hotel offered shuttle service. And breakfast was a little weird, but sufficient. Overall, we had a good stay at the Airotel Smart hotel in Patras. The hotel was fairly clean and the bed was sufficiently comfortable. The nifty wallpaper background on the headboard wall is beginning to peel and rip in places. The corners could use a deep cleaning (with white accents, it's easy to see dirt piling up on the trim.) As well, the black bathroom had brown spots in the shower area... Oh! And there was a wet spot on the comforter when we arrived, and some questionable stains on other areas of the comforter. A nice touch by the bed on both sides is requested: a small area rug / bath mat of sorts to wipe your feet on before getting into bed, and to step on when getting out of bed. (This was a feature at our stay in Cortona Italy, and it was a nice touch on top of stone floors.) On the other hand, the hotel offers two cleansers in the bathroom that are nice; one at the sink and one in the shower that worked and smelled quite nice. Admittedly though, minimalist bathrooms got on my nerves during our recent 2.5 week trip. There is absolutely nowhere to hang wet towels, so your towels never dry. (Note: If I remember correctly, there were two pegs to hang your towels, but they definitely do not dry hanging close to the wall on a peg / robe hook. And I've noticed at most overseas hotels, they only offer you one towel per person in the bathroom (most hotels in the US usually leave you an avg of 2 towels per person.) On the plus side, the staff member who checked us in and out was very pleasant and helpful. And the hotel offers VERY LATE check out, so we were able to take advantage of late check out for 40 euros and stay until about 7pm or so which made waiting around for our ferry that departed at midnight not so bad of a wait. Another nice touch was the balcony ~ it offered more than enough room for my husband to practice some ashtanga yoga. The balcony offered a nice covered space to view the water, watch the sun set or sun rise and enjoy a drink. Plus, there is a room darkening feature on a switch by balcony. Perfect darkness! The room also had a fridge set in the wall at just the right height! Bonus: it wasn't pre stocked with mini-bar stuff that is in the way, so we had space for our own things. There were two bottles of water in the fridge that we could use without extra charge. Thank you!

Although my wife and I stayed here only one night, we’d certainly consider staying here again when in Patras. Hotel is only a few years old, on a main ingress/egress street to Patras and a short taxi ride to the ferries to Italy. Just across the street is the Corinth Gulf, so ask for a sea view room and on the upper stories to reduce traffic noise if you like to open your patio door for fresh air. Room was a nice size, clean, and had many electric outlets for charging all your gadgets. We had the included breakfast which was a complete buffet. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Nearby is a grocery store, restaurants, movie theater, and a Jumbo discount variety store. My hair and beard had outgrown decency so I walked to a reasonably close barber (Stratis Shop, Solomon 112) that was just excellent for men’s hair. Finally, we enjoyed the seawalk alongside the Corinth Gulf that ran in both directions to parks and children’s play areas.

Another hotel chosen by our tour operator; our guide warned about this hotel for some reason - it was the most modern and best of our trip, but not particularly designed for tour groups which is a major plus IMO. Well located on the waterfront near the Cathedral, it reminded me of Hotel Mate Mario in Madrid - Smart. Both public areas and rooms are well designed, especially in the use of space. Room space was not exceptional but more than adequate, and the air system operated well. The room was pleasingly quiet. The bathroom had an open shower with a pebbly non slip floor - both safer and more user friendly than the high sided tubs common on our trip. Service was helpful and friendly. Breakfast included a number of common items plus some unusual sweets and well prepared hot table items beyond the ordinary. I have no qualms about recommending this hotel.

Stayed here and found the checking in, okay. There was juice at reception which was great, and needed. The hotel is what I would call clean and basic. Easy walking distance to the city, and sights to see. The room was clean, with a large bathroom. The soaps within the shower and basin are hand dispensed and okay. I had noted this prior to visiting and took my own stuff which kind of defeats the point! After driving numerous hours, I was exhausted so after checking in and eating a meal locally, got an early night. We were in a room at the rear of the hotel on the third floor and was awoken in the night by glass bottles being thrown in a recycling bin and the trains. As a deep sleeper this was awful. Could not fault the breakfast... Loads with fresh fruit, important for myself. Some staff tried too hard. Apart from that, I would say this is a good basic hotel. Would I visit again, prop ably not.

Top place for business people and couples. Lovely entrance, cool and modern design! Easy access, almost in the city center for convenient appointments and walks. Helpful and smiley personnel with "I wanna help you" attitude.

Well priced, very clean hotel rooms, only problem was bathroom a little on the small side. We only stayed the one night but staff extremely accommodating. Fruit basket in our room to welcome us, great breakfast.
