PROS: - great location (close to MANY restaurants, OXXO, Starbucks, beach, shopping mall, etc) - cheap price - they allowed me to check-in at 10am - near bus terminal and park (walking-distance) - nice staff CONS: - WIFI not good (just managed to connect at 11pm) - no hot shower - room is really outdated (definitely not a 3-star) OVERALL: Great hotel as long as you will not pay more than 600 MXN, you will not stay in the hotel throughout the day, and your priority is the location. Ideal for tourists from Mexico City or who will go back to the city as it's near the bus terminal, so you won't have to haggle with the taxi drivers. I suggest you book your reservation online (thru booking.com or despegar.com) because you'll pay 900-1000 MXN when you book there in person. I just paid less than 600 MXN online, and honestly, I still felt that I should have paid them less. I was not really satisfied with the room. Good thing I spent most of the time outside. The only real advantage of this hotel is the location.

I couldn't really ask for more, I was there for a more simple time, looking to take in the culture and have a nice time. The place was very clean my room was clean the staff were very pleasant. I can speak and little spanish so that did help a lot, the place is very close to the beach and transport around the area is pretty easy.I was there to take in the culture and learn about the history and also enjoy the view.

Accommodation and other services in Acapulco can suffer a bit as it is an aging sun resort. We stopped over for a night and day on our travels and enjoyed our trip. It was made all the better by Villas la Lupita. Clean, bright, freshly painted, nice staff and some interesting long time staff that are only glad to chat away if you are. 5-10min walks to the beach, clubs, bars, shopping centres, cinemas. Air-con rooms that are clean. Nice pool. And they even let us come back on the evening after checkout and use the showers and pool bathroom to clean up before an overnight bus. Recommended and would return.

We stayed at Villas la Lupita one night, I was amazed by the overall image, bright colours and peaceful atmosphere although it is situated near the main street. Nice and helpful stuff :) The swimming pool perfect for young children as well as for the adults.

Located very close to the beach and only 1 block from La Costera (where all the action is). It's pretty simple but clean with a decent swimming pool and A/C. Sergio speaks great English and is knowledgable about the city. Overall it's a good value.

We stayed at the Villas La Lupita in June for two days on a brief trip to Acapulco. We were pleasantly surprised with the room, its cost and the level of cleanliness. The room we stayed in had a double bed, desk area and small balcony overlooking the street. The shower had hot water and water pressure excellent. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I gave the hotel five stars based on the value for what it offers. Our room was around $45 US per night. The hotel has a small pool which we didn't try out. The manager told us the hotel had a parking lot in back but we didn't use it since we had taken a bus. The location is good, not great. It is one block from the Costera but the street can seem dark when returning at night. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when returning to Acapulco.

We stayed here for a couple nights mid Jan. 2013. Good location ... just a few blocks from the beach and the restaurant next door was very good with reasonable prices. The hotel staff were polite and helpful, the room was clean and cozy. Our only complaint was that the TV did not work, but we weren't in the room that much and were leaving before they had a chance to fix it. We would strongly consider coming back.

This hotel has a very good location and you can walk to the main street, restaurants and the beach. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms very nice but you did not have a lot of intimacy and listen what was going on outside. The pool is super little so I would recommend to go all the time to the beach. People was nice.

A small and comfortable spot just off the Costera in the Zona Dorado. Recently renovated. Clean and net rooms. Small pool. Helpful front desk. Good location.

I really liked staying in Villas La Lupita. My husband and I were looking for inexpensive vacation on the net. We found Villas La Lupita in a web site called Easy Click travel for a ridiculous price really (about 50 $ a night) so we booked it. It was a great choice- very romantic ;) We intend to come back
