Accommodation and other services in Acapulco can suffer a bit as it is an aging sun resort. We stopped over for a night and day on our travels and enjoyed our trip. It was made all the better by Villas la Lupita. Clean, bright, freshly painted, nice staff and some interesting long time staff that are only glad to chat away if you are. 5-10min walks to the beach, clubs, bars, shopping centres, cinemas. Air-con rooms that are clean. Nice pool. And they even let us come back on the evening after checkout and use the showers and pool bathroom to clean up before an overnight bus. Recommended and would return.

We stayed at Villas la Lupita one night, I was amazed by the overall image, bright colours and peaceful atmosphere although it is situated near the main street. Nice and helpful stuff :) The swimming pool perfect for young children as well as for the adults.

Located very close to the beach and only 1 block from La Costera (where all the action is). It's pretty simple but clean with a decent swimming pool and A/C. Sergio speaks great English and is knowledgable about the city. Overall it's a good value.

We stayed at the Villas La Lupita in June for two days on a brief trip to Acapulco. We were pleasantly surprised with the room, its cost and the level of cleanliness. The room we stayed in had a double bed, desk area and small balcony overlooking the street. The shower had hot water and water pressure excellent. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I gave the hotel five stars based on the value for what it offers. Our room was around $45 US per night. The hotel has a small pool which we didn't try out. The manager told us the hotel had a parking lot in back but we didn't use it since we had taken a bus. The location is good, not great. It is one block from the Costera but the street can seem dark when returning at night. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when returning to Acapulco.

We stayed here for a couple nights mid Jan. 2013. Good location ... just a few blocks from the beach and the restaurant next door was very good with reasonable prices. The hotel staff were polite and helpful, the room was clean and cozy. Our only complaint was that the TV did not work, but we weren't in the room that much and were leaving before they had a chance to fix it. We would strongly consider coming back.

This hotel has a very good location and you can walk to the main street, restaurants and the beach. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms very nice but you did not have a lot of intimacy and listen what was going on outside. The pool is super little so I would recommend to go all the time to the beach. People was nice.

A small and comfortable spot just off the Costera in the Zona Dorado. Recently renovated. Clean and net rooms. Small pool. Helpful front desk. Good location.

I really liked staying in Villas La Lupita. My husband and I were looking for inexpensive vacation on the net. We found Villas La Lupita in a web site called Easy Click travel for a ridiculous price really (about 50 $ a night) so we booked it. It was a great choice- very romantic ;) We intend to come back

book online ahead of time for cheaper price. small and super clean and pretty. i loved the color of the building-very sunny. nice little pool. very good price for acapulco. i would definately stay there again in the future.

After we realized we forgot to write down the address of the hotel, and almost an hour of the taxi driver looking for the place, we got to this cute hotel. Even though it was 1:00 AM there was a very friendly gentleman at the front desk (who DID have our reservation...i hear that is a common issue for some people). The room was TEENY TINY but clean, and had complimentary bottled water. We were so excited to be in Mexico that we went to the beach (even though the taxi driver did not recommend going to the beach at night). The beach is only 2 small blocks away from the hotel. Lots of very yummy restaurants within walking distance. Cheap busses and taxis on the major street one block away, while the hotel is nuzzled in a quiet corner. Very small and very unimpressive pool (and my standards are not too high). We were only in Acapulco for the one night and didn't spend much time at the hotel. It only cost about $50 USD for the room. Highly recommended for budget accomodations in tourist trap, overpriced acapulco. We took a bus 8 hours south to the coast of oaxaca (Puerto Escondido, Puerto Angel) where we stayed in MUCH better rooms for $30-$40/night.
