Was very nice will be back next year and felt very safe.Excellent location close to everything.

excellent service good food&no problems in acapulco

The were doing some remodeling during my stay but over all everything was excellent, especially the staff.

Hotel is very nice but it could improve a little, we had no hot water in the shower at all. I dont know about the rest of the people but I do like warm baths in the morning even if Im in Acapulco, bar service a bit clumpay, no tab beer while my whole stay.

Excellent location , clean beach , go in low season

First room was almost abominable. We were finally moved the last day since there was a leak in the bathroom. The second room was 100% better. The first bathroom was so dark we could hardly see. The second was perfect. Due to the heavy rain two days, we ate in the hotel and it was excellent although I had an omelette the last morning stuffed with ham and NO CHEESE. Who makes an omelette with no cheese? Much better locations down Miguel Aleman in the zona hotelera. Except for the Plaza Diana across the street there was nothing to do because of the inclement weather. Next time, I'll got farther down the street.

We were on the 8th floor and the room smelled like mold so we moved to the 6th floor. That room smelled of mold too. The hotel definitely has a mold problem. But if you completely open up the balcony it's not as noticeable especially with clean sheets and a fan on. If it wasn't for the mold the hotel would be perfect. The view is amazing and the pools are amazing especially the alberca infinity.

I went here for my honeymoon and it was a beautiful hotel. The food was cheap and they didn't allow vendors inside the hotel. We spent most of our time at the pool w great bar tending and waiters. As an orbitz member they honored the 15% plantinum discount. My room was always clean. The massage was excellent and the prices for food and drinks were affordable and it was kid friendly. They don't try to rip you off like LA and Vegas which is where I'm from.

Nice hotel, great location and excellent staff. The room it was very clean and spacious.

The visit policy needs to be changed, they don't allow you to have people over, the charge you for the visit is really stupid.

We stayed for four (4) nights April 17-21. We were a party of five (5) couples, therefore we booked five (5) rooms. Upon arrival they put one (1) of the couples in the newer tower and the rest in the older (non-remodeled) tower. We have previously stayed at this hotel on a couple of occasions and had very favorable experiences. On our previous visits we stayed at the newer tower. This time our room and the rooms of three of our accompanying couples were in the older tower as well. To our dismay this tower is dirty, the rooms are dingy, smelly and not on par with the cleaner and modernized newer tower. After one awful sleepless night after threatening to cancel our reservation they moved all of us to the newer tower. We were pleased with the updated rooms, fresh smell and overall tidy appearance of the newer tower. This is the reason I am not giving this hotel a better review because of the one night of hardship. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It is on the beach, it has beautiful pools, it has an attentive staff and great service. I will definitely return (provided I stay on the new tower).

We have been to Acapulco 12 times and this has been our best holiday.

I will never recommend this hotel to any one, I spent a good amount of money for what I thought was going to be a great place to spend my vacation sadly I had the worst experience, the employees were extremely rude, the lobby was dirty, the room had cockroaches, and lastly my daughter was pushed by a passing employee and he didn't even bother to look back and say sorry

I've stayed in this hotel twice in the past five years. Always had great experiences, which is why i went back. However, this time i had the worst experience ever. There was no air conditioning in the loby, the rooms were not clean (I had to call to have it clean) and didn't get clean towels. The bathroom had a sewer kind of smell. Im not sure if this has to do with a different management, but unfortunately, I will not be staying here again.

I must say I was a little iffy at first about the hotel cause we got a really good cheap deal for a 4 night stay, but once we got there we were very pleased with the place. All of the rooms have ocean view balconies overlooking the hotel pools. It has private beach area with the rental of cabanas but the money you pay for the rental they credit it back to you on food while there in the cabana so it's a great deal. The hotel very nice, very clean, staff really friendly, the rib restaurant at the hotel was great too. The location of the hotel is great cause u have th mall right across the street and the town market down the street where you can find all kind of souvenirs. Already planning on going back in May.

First of all I'd like to point out that I've never had any issue with any reservation in any hotel until I went to the Emporio hotel they could not find my reservation and had me waiting about 30-45 minutes the waiting made feel like I was not even being helped and when finally given a room I had a pretty bad room

I stayed at the Emporio from July 12-28, 2014 and it was wonderful! The staff were great, my room was exquisite, clean, huge and the bed was very comfortable. It was cleaned everyday. The pools were amazing, I loved the adult pools. The beach was clean and nice. I always ventured to the public side and sat with the locals. The hotel security and staff monitored me and ensured I was safe. I love Acapulco and the Emporio is my new favorite hotel there! Beach view in the back, Mall and strip out front!

Air conditioner only in room to a limit. Front desk staff was rude will not go back to this hotel

Service at the front desk was terrible. It took over 45 minutes to check in. One of the receptionists was taking a personal phone call as we were waiting in line. Aside from the poor service, the location was great. The view from our room was beautiful.

wonderful hotel staff well versed in english always willing tp help
