Property very convenient, close to the city but not in the city. Rooms definitely need entire renovations, carpet too old , smells, patio very nice to have it in some rooms but can’t leave the door open, lots of spiders will get into the room and mosquitoes. Over rated and very expensive for the quality

Dirty duvet under an open duvet cover, floor and carpet were uneven and humid (unit k, room 38), except for the bathroom, which has a radiant floor. Old hotel. Make sure to have an upper floor room to avoid moisture problem. As for the staff and the lobby, they were impeccable. Should be more a 2 stars for the standard rooms. 4 stars is largely over rated.

Incredible service and staff

The hotel is in a beautiful location just outside Aalborg. The staff are professional and provide a beautiful service! My favourite was Louisa in reception (10/10) and the serving staff in the restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable and the main hotel plus restaurant are kept in perfect condition. The hotel has a lovely pool, sauna and spa which was wonderful after a busy day to relax in. Free car parking and easy public transport busses.

Beyond the dimensions of today's hotels&restaurant

I have been traveling around the world for over 35 years, both for business and private purposes. I've slept in really luxurious hotels, but this one is exceptional. Nowhere in the last decade have I experienced a more professional and customer friendly service. This applies to both the reception staff and the waiters of the excellent restaurant. Let the "duck juice squeezer" speak for itself about the uniqueness of this place. Not only is it there, but they still use it. Wonderful experience. Thank you.
