"This is one of those rare places that’s even better in person than it is in the photos.Staying in the beautifully restored Historic John Buerger Tin Shop was truly a unique experience. Knowing the building is part of Augusta’s history and has been thoughtfully preserved made the stay feel special from the moment we walked in. The owners have done an incredible job blending the original character, exposed brick walls, historic details, and craftsmanship, with all the modern comforts you’d expect in a high-end vacation rental.The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were great, the kitchen was fully equipped, and every room felt intentionally designed. You can tell a tremendous amount of care went into every detail.The location couldn’t have been better. We loved being able to walk through historic Augusta, explore the local shops and restaurants, and simply enjoy the charm of this beautiful river town. It was peaceful, family-friendly, and a perfect getaway.What really made this stay stand out was the feeling that we weren’t just renting a place to sleep, we were experiencing a piece of Kentucky history that has been given new life. It’s rare to find a property that has so much character while still feeling fresh, luxurious, and welcoming.We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for something far more memorable than a typical vacation rental."
