Next time I will stay at Autograph collection Marriott branded hotels for vastly superior customer service and attention to details. The all inclusive food and drink was mediocre. Customer service variable, some staff were great and some not so much. The bathtub plumbing was broken in our original room and flooded the room. They moved us to a new room with inferior view compared to original. We requested a late checkout as Orbitz VIP status said should be high priority but not only was it still $50/hour but they couldn’t even allow us to pay for late checkout because that room was booked. With Marriott properties I have guaranteed 4pm late check out. They offered me $50 of souvenir credit at their shops but all were closed of course. If you want a regular Uber you have to go 3 blocks off property to hail. They only allow Tourist Taxis on property at 6-8x the price and double price of a Taxi in the USA.

The staff was limited. We ordered room service and it took 3 hours. They were out of many items on the menu or accompanying sides. The food was mediocre. Burgers tasted rubbery, steaks were cold. We had to call to Get our room cleaned and one day they forgot even after we set up a specific time. There were restaurants displaying as open, but in fact were closed for the day. We will not go back.
The open air hallways were a nice touch. The room and maid service wait time was always lengthy
Everyone at the resorts willingness to make this the best experience for me.
Everything is beautiful except the most valuable part..beaches..a lot of cigarettes and dirty glasses from the rest of the previous night.water needs to be clean as well.a lot of seaweed on a bottom of the beach.we didn’t have much room to swim. This was a big disappointment since we went there specific for the sea and beaches. Everything else was more then pleasing!
The food was marginal with few exceptions. Staff was nice but we felt like we were expected to tip and carry cash where ever we went. Seems like there were things like towels, toilet paper in the pool restroom, and food in the main dining area were stocked in the morning and when they ran out for the day, that was all till the next day. This was our first visit to a Secrets resort, we usually stay at Sandals for an all-inclusive. It was also our first visit to Jamaica. If we go back, we will probably stay at Sandals. As soon as we arrived we were signed up to go to their version of a time share sale. The carrot was a romantic dinner on the beach for free which was actually worth the 2 hours we spent talking to their sales staff.
I have been here a few times before and this is the worse check in i have had. The staff was not courteous or warm. I was not even offered a drink. I ordered 2 drinks from the bar once checked in and they tasted horrible - cheap and not well made. Definitely not the quality i am useto from secrets. It was raining most of the afternoon and there were no activities/entertainment planned incase of rain. I am disappointed.
