Utterly Disappointing
As a hotels.com Gold VIP rewards member in my 3rd year, I requested the room upgrade that is offered for VIP properties. The front desk mentioned this was not possible however, less than half the hotel was booked. The room smelt damp and there were stains on the sheets, one almost looked like blood. The pool and fitness center were both closed, neither of which was shown on the website nor mentioned by the front desk. The only good side, the bartender made some damn good cocktails! I needed them after they told me my card would not be charged outside of a refundable deposit and yet we then got a $22 USD fee

Everything you need but not a speck extra. Quiet room and timely airport shuttle deserves 5 stars (do not hear airport noise) but painfully slow check in and lack of amenities in room (for example, there is one coffee cup, one extra keurig regular coffee packet) brings my overall rating down. The breakfast and dinner buffetts are a tad pricey ($20 -25) but convenient and tasty. The slow check-in feels hard to forgive after a long day of flying for a room already paid for.
