The property is amazing and for the most part the staff is super friendly and helpful. I did have a few issues with wrong information being given to me. Also the biggest issue for me was waking up to dead roaches each morning by my terrace.
Beautiful contemporary property; staff was largely attentive; beds were great. Poor location when there for a time period that includes offsite activities/restaurants. Property felt more limiting that other resorts that provide swimmable beach. Considering these limitations, hotels should have provided some some level of shuttle service. Felt like we were constantly being gouged for money on top of very expensive room charge.
Beautiful hotel and the service is top notch. It is far away from the hotel zone so if you plan on going to the restaurants outside of Nobu, a car rental is a must. Nobu is very overpriced
My boyfriend & O had the most amazing time at Nobu! All of the staff are so helpful & accommodating, the grounds are beautiful & the food is delicious. We’ll definitely be back !
The service is excellent
Our 14th visit to a Cabo hotel. Good hotel if you go with ocean view top floor. Several pools with different vibes which is cool. Too far from ocean to really enjoy it. Food was way too expensive. Overall service was great with Michelle, Karen and Layla (Interesting background) with the cake pops at the pool. Very safe location with all ages. Have stayed at 5 hotels in Cabo and Zandun is by far the best and probably only 5 star. I would give this hotel a 4 star due to low room rate, but insane food prices like a $36 double shot cocktail and they poor actual single shot glasses. Tipping helps lots here if you want service. Hotel is trying and nice, but have some ways to go to get 5 star. Probably better off with high end all inclusive. I do admit staff really cares and deserve recognition and liked them a lot. Good music, although failed to mention it was next to Hard Rock, which made it less exclusive. Probably will stay at Zandun next time, but this is a good hotel and loved the diversity of people. What I loved about this property is also what could be considered a downside. It is 45 minutes from the airport and about 30 minutes from the town of Cabo San Lucas. So leaving the property for anything is a big time commitment. The Hard Rock Hotel is next door but otherwise this property is fairly isolated.
Everything is very expensive and then 'negotiable' with staff saying 'you help me and I will help you' which felt a little odd at this level of resort. We were not initially given the sea view room with balcony we paid for and it took escalating to a manager to get moved from our ground floor, pool view with small patio to the room level we paid for. It is a beautiful spot with beautiful rooms and the food is amazing. Just very expensive, so if you want sodas and water in your fridge best to bring them from town. It costs 50 dollars round trip to go to town.
