The increase in employees dedicated to pool and beach service - both dining and with assistance on the pool deck and beach (green shirts) was wonderful! It really makes a difference having those people monitoring and assisting people at the pool and on the beach to secure chairs, umbrellas and navigate busy times. Thank you for this edition. Also - the dining options for the full meal plan are wonderful. So much better than anywhere else we have stayed. The hospitality of all your employees from the the concierge, dining and desk staff, to the cleaning staff is impeccable. It just can't be beat. Though many of the buildings and pool area items (umbrellas, etc.) need to be updated, the grounds are simply beautiful and all areas very clean, including bathrooms at the poolside.
I hate Orbitz but the stay was very nice!!!

Beautiful resort! I always stay at Hacienda del Mar when I come to Cabo. Just a few things I noted: most of the food was just average, the water stations did not work & the snack bar was not refilled daily. Would still stay there but a couple things I noticed this time around.
The grounds are beautiful. The rooms were great. Could have used some more staff around the pool area. Also the pools were a bit dirty. The bell staff and housekeeping were great. We particularly appreciated Bell-man Benjamin Avila. He was a true professional.
The property is nice. Service is terrible. Waited forever at the pool for waiter every time we wanted a drink or food. Spa staff forgot all about us while we waited for a massage. It’s a nice resort but service just isn’t there and would chose another resort next time.
Assigned room was noisy. Front desk manager was as unprofessional as I have ever come across. Never again. Would rather stay in a Motel 6.

We liked the Hacienda Del Mar from our trip before COVID that we took the whole family this time. HDM is the perfect location between San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas (we drove to both); the staff welcomes us like family and all the restaurants gave us variety without leaving the resort. Also close to Playa Santa Maria and Chileno for swimming/snorkeling. So many pools at the resort it’s tough to decide where to start each morning. Fiesta dinners with live mariachi music an added bonus!
Staff was almost “friendly” just to seem friendly. There were no jets for jacuzzi and pool bartenders were slow and almost seemed unmotivated. Couldn’t get bottle water on entire resort once store closed. Not the best hotel i’ve visited in Cabo.
